You are charged on the 5th of every month, so naturally you would think that as long as you cancel your membership before then - you aren't forced to pay for a month. Even if that is the case, you'd think it would be possible to get a refund for the month you aren't going to use. This is not the case. They stand by the "fine print" in their contracts which most people probably don't read (it is a gym membership, we are not purchasing property here). The manager told me that they deal with this issue (angry people requesting refunds, bank disputes, etc.) every month, and they blame the customers - not their policy. What's worse is - in my case - I attempted to cancel the membership in person before the end of the month, my number was taken down, and I was told I would receive a call from the manager when he was back. I did not receive a call, so I called back on the 2nd of the following month. The manager was still not in, so they took my information down again and finally I received a call on the 3rd to cancel the membership. I was not told that I would still be charged, and that I wouldn't receive a refund. I'm now having to deal with my bank to dispute the charge for services I canceled and will not be using, and I was essentially called a liar when I brought up the fact that I attempted to cancel the membership at the end of the month.

There's a diverse crowd of men and women with which to train. Tim's assistant instructors are great, offering unique perspectives while teaching fundamental BJJ. Additionally, Tim understands time off/injuries/etc happen, and will work with you to make sure you're not being billed when you can't be on the mat. He wants you to feel like you are getting good and fair instruction, and he's not in it for the money. This is rare. Because of Tim, i'm a better person and more confident. He was very professional with the young ladies never out of the way with them but he did push them to get the best out of each and everyone of them. It was the best thing we've ever done for the girls in the winter of season cause usually you just lay around and get out of shape during these months. Now we have girls wanting to continue the workout but we are unable to till next fall and winter due to praticess, tournaments, and most girls are in middle school team ball. Here, a workout is programmed each day and a coach will guide you through all of the movements and steps. All of the coaches are incredibly encouraging and excellent at helping you master the movements. The gym offers regular Crossfit classes, as well as Barbell, Mobility, and Yoga sessions. The thought of going to a crowded gym with no direction used to be enough to cement me to the couch. Plus, I had the self-confidence of a wet paper towel. There is also a concrete trail within the park in which you can walk on when playing with your dog, so you don't have to stay on your toes at all times wondering if you are going to step in any dog poo. Overall, it's a great park to bring your dog if they don't get along to well with others too well, or if this is your new companions first time at a dog park.
