I wore sweatpants and a cropped t-shirt. The manager stopped my workout and asked me to change. I did not have anything to change into so she asked me to take my shirt off and wrap it around my stomach where skin showed. Not sure how my belly button is more scandalous than my tits being out but whatever. Another time I set up squats and took my shoes off, same lady marched proudly over to tell me I needed to put my shoes back on or leave. She also went on to rudely say that she "has heard of the 'benefits' or whatever of squatting without shoes." I only had sandals and decided to leave. Not the best place for serious gym goers, good for beginners and class workouts. I understand that lack of clothes may make others insecure of themselves, but that's why we're all at the gym, to raise confidence and our health. I am not confident in a sports bra and having to take my shirt off just to finish my workout was not okay. I left a review on google when this initially happened, but it is since deleted. Coming in from out of state, came to get a workout in. Half way through an overweight woman who claimed to be general manager, interrupted our workout to ask me to put a shirt on, and that my modest gym shorts were to short. She proceeded to touch my thigh and tell me where my shorts length should be. I am a professional athlete and have never been shamed like this at any of anytime fitness gyms across the states, she claims her gym has its own set of rules and theres another anytime fitness 20 miles up the road. read more

Anytime Fitness in Gallatin, TN is the place to be if you want to get back in shape. I personally recommend signing up for the training package, as it helps you improve your strength, endurance, and their experienced trainers help ensure you are lifting correctly to avoid any injuries. Their trainers are ENCOURAGING, they are there to help and help YOU meet your goals. The classes offer a variety of exercises, which include lifting dumbbells. All you have to do is show up. The ONE STAR is because their trainers are actually great, but it comes at a HIGH cost to you! STAY AWAY form here! Corrupt ownership/management. They do NOT care about the individuals, only their money. If they believe they can get more out of you from the "fine print" on their contracts, THEY WILL. DO NOT believe their claims like "We have Dieticians on staff" (THEY DON'T) or claims like "a 360 degree approach to YOUR health" as they DO NOT offer any substance behind that claim. It's just a small gym offering classes, but OVERPRICED and UNDERDELIVERED. They suck you into a contract that YOU CANNOT ESCAPE from for ANY REASON. BEWARE...DO NOT get taken advantage of like we did. The Manager has NO CARE IN THE WORLD for you and feels entitled to her role, while the OWNER CANNOT BE REACHED and DOES NOT RETURN REQUESTS to discuss anything with you, even at the PROMPTS from their own corporate office. This gym has been so great for me. Traveling around the country, I see a lot of different gyms and a lot of different Anytime Fitness locations - this one is great for a few reasons. First - the staff is so friendly! They have warm hellos every time I walk in for a workout! Second - this place is super clean which is important for a health club! Gym is good for a small gym but with no real variety in equipment. Went in to try out but the conversation got awkward with the lady there when I mentioned I just want to workout. She asked if I was serious about joining the gym. I said yeah I just moved into town and want to try it first. She then made me sit down to talk about fitness programs even after I told her I think the programs are great idea but I will probably just lift. Then she got awkwardly silent as if she was trying to process the information. What probably was 5 seconds felt like 30 as she proceeded to gaze at me blinking, repeating my own words back at me that I wouldn't use the fitness classes. Being retired and for health reasons I had to lose a lot of weight in doing so lost a lot of muscle my insurance company gave me silver sneakers membership. I was told that pretty much all health clubs honors it. It being closest to where I live I tried to sign up there. Real friendly owner but she said she didn't accept silver sneakers when I asked her why she really couldn't give me an answer. I wish I could afford the membership but being retired and the disabled the money just isn't there. read more

This business has undergone several changes in ownership in the three years I've been attending. The current owners seem like they are the most interested in improving the facilities. A quick rundown on what this gym has: ~20 cardio machines, mostly treadmills and ellipticals, but there are also stationary bikes, a rowing machine, a Jacob's ladder, and these two hybrid elliptical/stair stepper things. Most of the machines have a digital interface that lets you watch TV or listen to music. In my experience the remotes rarely work so you probably won't be able to change the channels. A decent assortment of plate and pin weight machines, you can do every part of your body except for hamstrings on the weight machines as best as I can remember ATM One squat rack Two Smith Machines A good selection of free weights, including kettle balls, plastic barbells with lighter plastic weights, stretchy resistance tubing, and medicine balls. No 2.5 lb standard barbell plates though. Some type of webbing setup that hangs down from the wall, allowing you to do different bodyweight exercises A large separate room for classes (yoga, zumba, etc.). This room has a projection screen that comes down and plays different fitness classes for anyone who wants to use it. A tanning booth (never used it, don't know if it's any good) 3 private bathrooms, 2 of which have showers. There is a TV by front entrance presumably so you can park your kids there and keep them from getting in my way while I'm trying to work out. I'm probably missing stuff since I'm going off of memory here. The facilities are pretty clean and there are washcloths and spray bottles available to wipe the equipment down. The busiest times I've seen are 3-4 PM and 5:30-6:45 PM. If I go during those times I sometimes have to wait 10 min or so for a cardio machine, and it can feel a cramped in the free weight area. However, the new owners seem to be really trying to address this issue. I've noticed that the floor is constantly getting rearranged to make more space, and new equipment shows up every few weeks. They are also continuously soliciting feedback in the form of a suggestion box. If I had made this review last year it would have been 3 stars, but there have been definite improvements in the last few months. read more

I was a member at this club for a year before moving to Boston for college. In June 2016, I went in to cancel the renewal of my membership. The staff seemed friendly and assured me, after clicking around for a few minutes, that I would no longer be charged. A month passed and I saw more charges for this club on my card. I went back into the Gallatin office and explained the situation, and the staff was very apologetic. They called the collections agency responsible for billing and cancelled the recurring charges on my account. It is now October, and I get calls every day from Anytime Fitness in Gallatin as well as the billing company, ABC Financial. Every time I call either of them back, no one answers. No one seems to be willing to help me with this. Do not join this club. Join a fitness club that will treat you with respect when you join and have staff mature enough to treat you like an adult when you decide to leave. read more

Absolutely LOVE this gym! Everyone is friendly and very supportive. The gym is always kept clean and maintained. The training classes are super fun and very encouraging. As I've had a few surgeries the trainers are accommodating to what I can do and make it challenging. One of the absolute BEST gyms around. HIGHLY recommend to people who have lived in Gallatin for a while or just moving here. read more

Be aware when you read the contract. This company will automatically renew your yearly contract (even after having frozen your account for a few months). In addition, they require monthly auto renewal monthly fees to be deducted from your bank account which they process in the 30th or 31st of every month - too late for you to cancel (30 day written notice to club) to which you are charged an additional month. Good people and trainers at this location, but there are cheaper alternatives in the area without being caught in a contract. read more
