I want to give this gym a good review. But I can't. I tried to cancel my membership in September of this year, after trying to call several times and no one answering I went into the gym and tried to cancel, but was told the tech was down and they needed to send me a cancellation form via my phone (never got it). Having a busy life I waited another month and tried calling again and never got an answer. So I went in and was told that I would have to pay an additional month due to my contract and was totally cool. Cancelled, handed in my key and thought about potentially coming back in the spring to work with my trainer. Then another month went by and was charged again. Thinking it must be an issue with them not cancelling my membership, I tried to call again. No answer...And then I found another number for them which I called and was texted an automated machine. No answers...(because they don't answer the phone). I drove yet again an hour drive to come in and figure out what was wrong. When I pulled in the lot I was texted that I owed for another month. Still to this day I have no idea if I'll ever stop getting charged. I clearly am not getting refunded. What I am saying is that they clearly don't care about their business, or having someone happy about their experience. They make it impossible to quit once you sign up. If this doesn't smell like a typical old school gym membership mentality with the added lack of anyone visibly running the place and no technology to cancel.. take the bait. The trainers are great, why they work there at that gym I have no idea.
But the fact is, the only way I'll ever go back to this gym is to continue to try and cancel my membership. And I will without a doubt always tell every person who wants to go to a gym to not go to this one.
