So I just came across ISI on Facebook and I've been seeing the sign for a while but I thought no you need to be a little more fit to join lol but I signed up anyway for a 7 day trial period. And let me tell you it was the best thing I could have done for myself. The first week I wanted to quit because everything was hurting, muscles were on fire but I kept going. Then I wanted to quit after my first weigh-in because I didn't see results yet. Well, how could I when not changing certain habits? Nutrition and sleep are huge factors. Well I kept going and I am over 1 year going strong and I lost not only lbs and inches but I have gained extended family and friends. This place has it all Accountability, amazing coaches, clean facility, visible childcare included, friendly people and drama-free environment plus people are ranging from 18 to probably in their late 60 s. From all fitness levels., so just come and see for yourself you will not be disappointed.

You can see he genuinely loves what he does, and more importantly KNOWS what he is doing, not just because he knows the science, but also because he has years of experience of watching muscles being molded. He makes the gym routines work. The gym itself is well equipped, and small enough that everyone is watched. You prepay for a fixed number of days (you choose) every month, everything is transparent, and you get circuit routines designed by Wally every week; which can modified for someone post-physical therapy or for someone training competitively - this is where the trainer's watchful eye comes in. While consistency is key to any fitness routine or gym, a good trainer and a friendly community can make this change easier, faster and injury-free. One of the best gyms in Augusta!

This anytime fitness is relatively small, but very well organized. I was there after 5 PM and the gym was packed yet there really wasn't a wait for any particular piece of equipment. The staff and trainers at the gym were all very friendly. There was only one unisex shower, but I didn't have to wait for that either. Overall a great gym, which I would visit again when back in the area. I wonder what other healthy activities I can find?

Actually, this particular gym was a cut above others: its shower, though singular, was especially appealing, having a partitioned bathing stall and sliding door, and just a feel of general hominess and comfort that is often absent from public space. Besides being a good gym in other respects, I drew special enjoyment from the discovery of a warm, home-like shower room (a biggie to me, being on the road). All in all, I had a pleasant, memorable time here, for which I am grateful to the staff and owner. Good job! :-)

Poor maintenance on their treadmills. I've tried several and either one or two things have not…read moreworked on each of the ones I've used in the past. Today it was a broken safety tab that is used for emergency stop. Heart Rate monitor was not even close to my actual HR and the television sound was hit or miss. Other machines; some have televisions that work some don't. Some look like the TV works until you actually start walking then the reception is scrambled. Some TV's have limited channels. The facility is small and feels congested. When there's a group in the main area they are shouting and the nosie is ridiculous. There use to be a Y in Evans but now we're relegated to using Steiner Branch or Wilson branch. Make the Steiner Branch larger and maintain the equipment, it sucks having to drive to the Wilson branch just to use a reliable treadmill.

And all the variety of weights you need. I think it's the perfect size without a lot of fuss and excess equipment. Also a great and affordable price for the entire family. They also have a daycare while you workout. I don't know the particulars but they know they have one. The staff is super friendly and they have a lot of trainers for hire if you need (and we all need) that extra assistance and guidance. I would definitely recommend for someone looking for a community gym without all the bells and whistles but straight to the point.

Really appreciate the staff that's works here. They greet you as you enter and leave and certainly been helpful to ensure you're having a quality workout at their facility. Overall, great customer service. I appreciate that Crunch has many variations of machines to hit certain body part, especially for back days. I felt very limited at what I can do at planet fitness, but Crunch's variety of machines really allows me to hit my back differently. The only cons I can think of is the cleanliness of the bathrooms and drinks are very expensive, so I recommend bringing your own. For example, a bottle of RAW protein drink cost me $5.96. Definitely on the high side. It's been extremely over crowded, so you'll end up waiting for most machines, but they opened up it even 2 weeks ago, so I have a feeling the rush will die down eventually. Parking is always crowded, so don't be alarmed if you have to park far away and walk.

Under the stated 10-day cancellation period, my membership should have ended on March 12. However, I was charged $270 on March 13, another $270 on March 27, and another $270 on April 10. Crunch refunded $270 on May 29, but $540 remains unresolved. I have contacted Crunch repeatedly and filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the appropriate state consumer-protection offices. My BBB complaint number is 24794077. I was also placed in the uncomfortable position of scheduling an appointment with a personal trainer while I was out of town because I was concerned that refusing the appointment could negatively affect her employment. At this point, I feel that the company is delaying instead of addressing the remaining charges. I am posting this to document my experience, ask Crunch Fitness to resolve the outstanding $540, and find out whether other members have experienced similar cancellation or billing problems.
