There are also two open gyms, one for youth and another one for the general population- that was a cool thing to see. I also appreciated the lockers scattered throughout the gym, and the layout. Specifically, they have a 24 seven model which I don't think I have seen at any other YMCA that I have been a member of. It allows members to enter and exit the workout facilities with a digital code. This location also has steam rooms and sauna in the men's locker room, which is truly a blessing. Overall, this is a very sufficient club with a lot of variety in terms of workout machines and weights. They have an extensive aerobic room with plenty of exercise balls mats and stretch bands. They have an indoor basketball gym, but no indoor pool. And the price is definitely a value!

Everyone is so helpful and encouraging and the exercise itself is incredibly effective. I've been going consistently for 6 weeks and I have seen results in my mobility, waistline, and mental health. Every instructor is a delight and there's so much variability in the workouts that it's impossible to get bored. 10/10.

They go out of their way to learn people's names and make you feel at home when you walk in the door. I like the open vibe and there's no judgement--everyone is here to have fun and workout! I'm pretty out of shape but I never felt self-conscious about my lack of balance or ability to hold a plank. The classes will whip you into shape! I went consistently for a month and noticed results very quickly. If you need to get into shape for a wedding or big event, go to barre classes everyday and you will notice that your muscles are toned. It's pretty remarkable how hard a workout can be using nothing but your body weight, and how great you feel after. The only reason why I stopped going here was even though I really enjoyed going to barre classes, I did want to try something new after months of nothing but barre. It's pretty pricey ($200 for unlimited monthly classes, they do run specials sometimes though) compared to the YMCA ($10 a month for a gym AND a wide variety of classes, not just barre). I like to mix-up my workouts. I know the business model is a nothing-but-barre studio, but variety is the spice of life!

This is not Cobra Kai, the other students/attendees actually try to help new kids and people that know less technique than them to be better. If I have to move away to a new place to live I will need some of you to help me beat up the owner/coach and put him in my trunk to take with me. Plus, we are all about raising strong, confident ladies, so what better way than to learn what strength you have and how to use it? I know nothing about wrestling. I usually come to watch my toddler and my husband wrestle it out. Coach (and his family) have been awesome in allowing our young one get comfortable on the mat to work on her confidence, and eventually some sense of technique follows. We just started Brazilian Jiu Jistu here as well. Coach's teenage daughter has been very patient and helpful in teaching my daughter various concepts and moves. My kid may not be mastering any moves just yet, but she always goes home with the knowledge of both wrestling and BJJ, explaining what Coach did or showed her, or what my husband practiced with her. This is a family run business by a very dedicated family. That alone is a win. All of them have a role at the studio, whether it's teaching a class, taking a class, or welcoming folks to the studio.

I attended the 8:30am class all 3 days, and immediately felt welcomed as soon as I walked in the door. I travel a lot and drop into many gyms and I will say they have a strong sense of community (which not all gyms do). All of the members were very friendly and helpful with giving me tips on things to do and places to try while I was visiting. I had Rashad as my coach all 3 days, he was very personable and an awesome coach! As a CFL1 coach who has been doing CrossFit for 7 years, I even learned a thing or two from his coaching, and new drills for handstand walks that I'd never seen before. From beginner to advanced CrossFitters, Rashad really made sure the athletes were choosing appropriate weights and using proper form. I would absolutely recommend this gym if you are in the Pooler Savannah area! If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely be back!
