My mistake was in trusting the then director, Randy Freeman, to do the right thing. What I should have done was to call Childline and let them handle it. Randy found none of emails of complaint valid, even relating to instances of mistreatment where I had other witnesses. The JCC was going through renovations as the time and they didn't want anything to jeopardize them, so they made up some nonsense about me. I'm not perfect; however, I stand behind my words and actions always. I recently thought about requesting the JCC remove the trespass order so I can go back. I need the pool like I need oxygen. The athletic club has a very familiar feel to it- the staff recognize individual patrons and get to know you naturally; nobody is trying to charm or upsell you and everyone is kind and welcoming to my children. The babysitting room being included with membership and not a separate fee (as at the majority of gyms) is such an underrated feature that makes this gym accessible and family-focused. The equipment isn't bright and shiny, but I like it that way. I've found the pool to be well cared for. Overall the amenities are suitable for getting the job done and there's never been an instance where I haven't gotten an excellent workout.

When I told Lacey at the front desk about it, she said "sorry there's no managers here and there's nothing I can do about it" when I asked for a phone number to call she gave me one and it is only automated and tells you to go to their website! They will not allow you to cancel in person or on the phone. The staff was NOT helpful and barely even there to check you in at the front desk.
