About 4 years ago JFG glass installed store front and glass in our home. We purchased an 8'…read morefiberglass door and , he suggested using a continuous hinge. The installation would be surrounded by a glass and storefront . At the same time we wanted to inclosure the carport by adding storefront and an entry glass door and a new glass garage door done ( by another local company). Imagine our surprise while admiring the new entry (which took over 4 months to complete) we could see daylight at some of the seams in the metalwork, (allowing water to leak through while washing the windows, and ants can gain access inside). The new garage is opening 12' high by 20' wide with a 10' high garage door with an entry door, all glass. Within a few months we noticed the screws at the top of this structure was beginning to rust. We notified the installed (Mr. J. Gay) of our desires to seal all the gaps and reinstall screws that will not rust. He did come back out and caulk some but not all seams, and this took multiple trips, however he did not replace the screws . After a couple of years we noticed the front door was hard to open/close and again called to have the door adjusted. This call resulted in an assurance that he will come out to investigate , which never happened. Two years later the sticking front door became unbearable so we attempted to reach out to have Mr. Gay come out and service the door hinge. After three weeks of empty promises we still haven't seen Mr. Gay. All in all, he is a nice fellow but unreliable and unresponsive to texts or phone calls. Needless to say, we would highly NOT recommend JFG glass!

We purchased and own all the sensors plus the board for our Vivint home security system. We…read morepurchased them back in 2017 when we lived in Mississippi. After having the system installed we found out the doorbell/camera did not work, approximately 6 months after installation. I called and was told a new one would be installed that the original doorbell/camera was an old model that should not have been used. I asked if this would change our contract and was told No. We sold our home in 2020 just before the contract should have ended, I called, said we were moving and did not have an address as of yet. Put the service on hold for 6 months. We bought our new him, talked to Vivint and was told I had added 2 years to my contract when we had the new doorbell/camera installed. We ended up with a 5 year contract instead of 3 which is what I initially signed for. Now trying to cancel them as the contract was up in February and it is a joke. I called in January, did all the phone stuff and thought we were good. Now remember I own my own equipment and still had an extra fee to pay for canceling on top of the regular monthly fee for February. I was still charged in March and they claim I never canceled, yet I have the bank statement with fees that state otherwise. Do not use Vivint, scammer. As you can see the Vivint Reviews department made a request. I did email them and have never heard back. Proof they just continue scamming.

Then after 1 year had to move , Vivint wanted me to wait months for the uninstall and reinstall , was told 149 for this then turned into 149 twice . The new installer at the new residence didn't have a drill for the installation not the signs of a professional company !!! In addition to the 4000 dollars they told me I needed another sensor ! Another 50 dollars and was told that would be 20 percent off which Vivint would not honor . SMH . Then was giving 1 month before being constantly harassed for a bal of 191 !! I explained to at least 10 ppl at Vivint that I'm in a hurricane devastated ares after Hurricane Helene and have been unable to work bc of the storm ( the ppl at Vivint DO NOT CARE ! No sympathy for if you're involved in a natural disaster . Was told pay 49.37 that I paid .. THE VERY NEXT DAY AFTER A PAYMT THEY STARTED TELLING ME PAY .THE BALANCE IN 10 days or your service will be turned off . Nasty !!! Then told me pay 71.50 10 days later and at least another 71.50 by 12 days after that . Do not ever go to Vivint for a security system as I'm extremely sorry I ever went with this unprofessional company ... signed sad sad customer
