I have already had multiple items framed from this location, but recently I brought in four pieces. I piece I asked for some special modifications to the piece and they were able to accommodate all of my requests. You can't even tell where they made the modifications I asked for. The frame materials they use are the best and they really live up to the name "Fast". When I brought the items in, they told me when they would be completed and it wasn't that long of a wait. But to my surprise, they had them all finished a week sooner! The people who work there are also the best. Kate helped me and she is absolutely amazing! She was great at helping me pick out mat and framing, sizing and everything I needed. When I picked up the finished products, they were perfect! They even came out better than I expected. I have to drive an hour to get to FastFrame and there are other framing stores closer. But none do the same great work as FastFrame. One of the best things you can do for your art is quality framing and AA&F is one of the best places around. Both Dan and Melissa are artists and that makes a huge difference when working with somebody on framing. They listen well and use their years of experience to elevate the work whether that means for the frame to get out of the way and disappear or become a part of the artwork itself. They pride themselves in the details and treat all the artwork they are working on as if it was their own work. Like I said they can custom make just about anything and they also have a large selection of ready-made frames. The guy there (I think his name was Harlem) was able to take a moment to not only detach the frame, but carefully remove the glued art, clean the glass, and reassemble...all as a courtesy. He also shared the risk of framing anything valuable between glass for risk of condensation/mold and other expertise along the way. Even though I wasn't there for any custom framing, his care for the art, frame quality and preservation far surpassed my expectations. Just filled my heart right up with gratitude. Our instructor was friendly and encouraged us to tap into originality without overthinking it instead of looking up patterns or inspo on our phone. I really liked that. And she offered us all coffee, freshly made. You can basically come in to do all the arts and craft your heart desires, on a donation basis. Affordable and unique way to release your artistic side without investing too much in all the supplies and then an abandoning a hobby. I'd come back with a friend and check out a different class.

They had construction paper, ribbons, highlighters, stamps, hot glue guns, and anything you might find at Michael's. Our instructor was very knowledgeable and showed us how she made her lanterns. She walked us step-by-step through the process. Now, I'm not a crafty person, but I was inspired enough by the ambiance and overflow of art supplies to get some creative juices flowing.
