I tried using actual poster board, however, whenever I use paints and or glitter, depending on the water content of the paint the paper curls. Technically you're not supposed to use etching board outside etching, however, it is a crafters that many people use this for photos. They are $$ at Michael's but I was able to score a decent number with shipping for a reasonable price.

The class felt a little scattered - but it was a very easy going environment, super relaxed. Our instructor was friendly and encouraged us to tap into originality without overthinking it instead of looking up patterns or inspo on our phone. I really liked that. And she offered us all coffee, freshly made. You can basically come in to do all the arts and craft your heart desires, on a donation basis. Affordable and unique way to release your artistic side without investing too much in all the supplies and then an abandoning a hobby. I'd come back with a friend and check out a different class.

Made an online order, several items were very unlike the photos…read more The Natural Blue Aquamarine Tube Cylinder beads are not as nice as advertised, with sharper edges, off axis holes, and a less lustrous polish. Almost a quarter of them have spurrs on them left over from cutting, and most of them are closer to 8mm long than they are to 10, with less than half being over 9mm long. The AAA Rare Natural Black Labradorite are actually just regular grey labradorite, so this is quite disappointing. On a positive note the strand is 16in long, so there's some bonus beads on there. I put it on a dark grey background like the listing photo to see if that would account for the color difference, and it definitely doesn't. The Natural Madagascar Mauve Pink Rose Quartz Teardrop Pendant is not as advertised, it is just a slightly grey rose quartz. I understand that lighting can change how things look, but this is more than that. I brought this up in an email the same day I received them, but was not able to return them within 14 days, so according to "policy" I'm SOL. Not happy with my order experience.
