I brought in a canvas I received as a gift. The canvas had cracks in it from being rolled (by the friend who gifted it). FastFame South staff recommended a pre-made frame that was affordable and truly complimented the painting. When I got my framed painting, the canvas looked better than when I dropped it off. I don't know how, but the cracks are GONE--the staff did some sort of frame canvas magic and I couldn't be happier. I am so glad I know this store exists for future canvas frame jobs. read more

Great service, creative consultation, nice frame selection, work was done on time with excellent craftsmanship and terrific results.

Don't ever go in here expecting courtesy or even basic service when they're busy the lady behind the counter was one of the worst public facing employees I've ever encountered in Austin in 12 years. She made it clear that she was busy in the back and I was disrupting her flow in five different ways. I kept asking if I did something wrong and she kept saying no but then would keep being offensive, hostile and verbally abrasive as hell. Finally I simply asked for her manager. I will NEVER get anything framed or spend another red cent here. My first order was a mounting flat order; the second I was ready to put in a framing order that would have been very pricey--maybe I would have had better service had I reversed the order sequencing and gave them the big job first who knows? I told the employee that I would fire her in a heartbeat if she worked for me talking to clients like she talked to me and to keep her personal issues at home and not to work because it was obvious her open hostility since the moment I stepped in the door was reaching a tipping point of origin just as mysterious as the treatment I was getting! Since I was at a loss to what I had done to set her off but she kept insisting I was not doing anything wrong yet she'd then take a verbal swipe at me right after saying I wasn't doing anything wrong I got so confused I finally asked is there something about my face you just don't like? (I'm not white presenting so i had to wonder as I was so completely flummoxed by her behavior!) I would not recommend this place you're better off going to a business that actually wants to be in the framing customer service industry not a default franchisee who hires questionabe people. read more
