However, 3 weeks later when we showed up for our appointment, they told us they wouldn't be able to get it in that day. So he set us up with an appointment the next week. Not good, but it happens. So we waited, and came back. When we arrived the next time, they had us waiting for about an hour in a small room, with a cut away transmission display. Just waiting. Then finally, a guy comes in and says the same thing "We're not going to be able to do it today, we'll have to reschedule". Now, it wasn't because of parts, I had already bought the parts, and they knew this. He wanted to reschedule. We obliged, annoyed. The third time, the same result. Showed up, he said he couldn't do it. Never a reason why. This time he tried to reschedule, again, but we just said fuck it. Instead we ended up going out of town to another shop, which installed the upgrade in about 3 hours as we waited. I can't comment on the actual work of Gib's Transmission, however I can say that they seem to be very much against actually WORKING. They do however like to scribble appointments down.

When they were called about on top of being rude about it they said it was the transmission before they even could look at and they had no Idea when they could get to it. I understand when you get in to rebuilding things some times there's more to it but when the average Joe can find the parts for half of what you say they are and that aren't salvage parts and you want to be rude about it when asked it adds up.
