Their estimate was very competitive compared to the other estimates that we received. Their service was incredible. They showed up to do the work, again - on time, and with a large enough crew to finish the job within the promised timeline. Basically, we had an existing asphalt driveway with many large cracks and other issues. When they were done, our driveway looked like brand new. Hired them to redo my driveway. Referred by my neighbors however, they do not know how to do grade (slope). Wanted me to hide my crooked curbs with landscape rather than correcting them. I highly recommend Apache Asphalt based on their work on my 50yr old home driveway in hilly Vista. About 4 years ago, I had them repair a very damaged section which has held up great since. This week they've done a replacement of the parking area and part of the hill driveway, which involved removing a lot of ancient asphalt with tricky street access. Jordan, his dad and their team communicate well and have been a pleasure to work with. We like Apache Asphalt because they're a family. They have every tool in their trade and they show up with them on their truck. They've installed a driveway and stack-brick retaining wall, creating a huge parking area that wasn't flat enough to do so previously and added value to our property. It's an ASPHALT JUNGLE out there. My neighbors, every single one, has had their driveways done by a "drive-by" cold-call outfit with a drum of slurry on their truck. Everyone of them had to have that same company come back and spread sand over their new slurry-seal because it was too rough a surface. Why create problem that needs correcting? Let Apache do it right the first time. Hey! They look like a group Convicts, but they're Quiet Installers, and Really Nice People. You won't be disappointed. Not recommended. We got a proposal for them to perform asphalt seal, replace some asphalt with concrete V-gutter and a drain in a separate area. They showed up twice to start work before we gave them approval. After we signed a contract and put a PO together, they said they would not be able to do the concrete work so we told them we would find someone else. They said a few days later that they could do the concrete work but needed to change the price (they were the middle price been three proposals). They gave us a new proposal and we signed a new contract. While doing the work, they decided not to do the concrete V-gutter and did not tell us. The drain they installed was too high and caused a puddle. The second area was not touched. It was rough asphalt. We had to hold their payment ransom to get them to go out and repair the concrete work at the drain which they ground to create the fall needed to drain. They came back and put a skin patch over it instead of the concrete we asked for. It is smooth but will have to be replaced in the future. read more

We just had our driveway repaved, and I couldn't be happier with the job they did. It was not an easy job, because the main waterline into our house was buried immediately under the existing pavement. Jordan from Apache made a special trip out to talk with me about this, and on the day of the job he was there working with the people to make sure they understood how careful they needed to be in this area. The guy driving the Bobcat was amazing! He could move the shovel in fractions of an inch, and was very careful around this pipe. As a result, there was no problem and the job was successfully completed. One minor problem occurred when a truck backed over a small retaining wall on my neighbor's property. Robert, the job foreman, looked at it, took some pictures, and said they'd take care of fixing it. There was no attempt to try and claim it was existing, blame someone else, etc. He said they'd take care of fixing it, and a few days later they sent someone out and the damaged was repaired. These are signs of a well-run company. I'm happy I used Apache and I highly recommend them. read more

They did a great job repairing and sealing our asphalt driveway in Cardiff. They removed 3 large sections of asphalt, dug out the tree roots underneath and replaced these areas with 4" of new blacktop. They then filled the cracks and seal coated the whole drive a few weeks later. They were very professional arriving just when they said, working hard and doing a fine job. Our street is very tight for parking and not wide. They put out pylons, parked their vehicles down the street so as not to block traffic and had minimal impact on the neighborhood. The work they did was first class and I would recommend this company again. They have been in business a long time and the estimator is the founders son. The estimate was very competitive, fast and the final cost just as they said. read more

Stewart and his company did a very large 45,000 sq. slurry seal for a non profit veteran rc flying field. They use the BEST sealant you can buy and they applied it very generously. Most places put down black water that lasts a year at best. They did all they said they would do and more!!! They even came back after the job was done to fix some small spots. Finding a company that keeps its word seems to be harder than it should be, but Apache Asphalt & Seal could write the book on keeping their word and doing a spectacular job. We contracted with them to do a relatively small asphalt curb replacement. The first work was done just before Christmas 2017 and was not what we expected.
