The fire pit installed by this company exploded into my girlfriend's face. We had an independent professional company come out to inspect the unit and the gas line. Their findings were shocking: the gas connection was completely loose. This negligence allowed gas to build up inside the fire pit structure, which caused it to explode upon ignition. Because of the physical injuries sustained and the absolute gross negligence regarding a gas installation, we are now taking this company to litigation. If you value the safety of your home and your family, stay far away from this business. A "loose connection" on a gas line is not just a mistake--it is a deadly hazard. We are currently in the process of legal action to hold them accountable for the damage and trauma they have caused. Zero stars. Avoid at all costs.

Even though the quote was not the lowest, it was reasonably priced and they were the only contractors that answered a lot of my concerns. I had several quotes from numerous contractors and all; expect Majestic Hardscape, just give me a price. This was concerning to me because we live on a hill and the side of our yard slopes. Every contractor just suggested laying concrete to the way it slopes so water would run off the hill. Bryan was the only one who suggested that this will need further attention, such as a retaining wall in the future otherwise it will just get worse over time. They were able to level the concrete the way we wanted and recommended us to eventually level the rest of the yard in the future. They even went out of their way to take some of our old stacking bricks and used them as a temp retaining wall to aid the sloped yard. Furthermore, the contractor under-reported our $24,331 contract to the City of Imperial Beach on the permit valuation as only $3,786.75 (an 84% discrepancy). We have fulfilled 100% of our financial obligations to close out the contract, but an active investigation has been requested with the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB Complaint #S F 2025016199) regarding their permit reporting and management practices. Thank goodness my Dad had one so they borrowed it, but now we have the burden in taking it back. Despite these mishaps, Noe was very knowledgeable and professional in his mannerisms. I don't want to spend a ton of money so he replaced the adobe bricks with cinder blocks that were the same size and shape and had the texture of adobe. Pablo then painted it.
