Once I got to the studio for my first session in my 2-week trial, there was someone at the front desk ready to sign me in for my class. She showed me how to do the check in on my phone as well as if I wanted to use the i-Pad that is in the studio. (That was fine.) Many of the exercises were similar to when I did my trial class, so this was rather disappointing to see. There were only 2 other people in my class, so that wasn't bad. Some of the exercises needed modification, but I quickly figured out what needed to be done. One of the trainers even came over to tell me that I could do an exercise differently, but nothing that would have injured myself.

I love the atmosphere and the black lights and graffiti style writing on the walls. It gives it a fun touch. It wasn't as dance centric as I'm used to but it was still fun and a good workout. And with any spot, each Zumba instructor is different. Wished the room was bigger, people were crammed together. I'm used to going in a bigger gym so you have more space but that's the size space they are working with. Maybe they can help place people or encourage people to move up and let the instructor utilize the stage more. Overall it's a fun place to check out if you love Zumba.

This is the one place I can go where no one judges me or my issues. Something inside me comes alive on the dance floor and even on my hardest days I find myself smiling and letting it all go. For an hour a day I get to be free from my insecurities, which usually has a lasting effect even after class. I've met some great people here and we all have our thing that keeps us coming back for more. It's not just a studio, it's a community of people that need a place to go to be themselves, laugh and have a good time.
