On our way to Canyon Vistas, RV resort, somewhere way outside of Fort Stockton Texas. We suffered a tire blowout, not one but two. Caused some damage to not only the wheel well but also our furnace. When we got to Canyon Vistas, we looked at the approved vendor list looked at reviews online and came up with Apache Junction, RV, service and supplies. After calling to let them know what the problem was. They were able to come out in a few days. We specifically asked about a military discount, to which, Nick on the phone, answered, absolutely, we support our military, will take care of you. Today the service guy came out and not only was he unaware of the military discount we had talked about, he was extremely rude and snarky about the job, and made comments about our RV.(vintage Winnebago) and pretty much with surly the whole time while doing the work. My husband actually called during his working time to speak to somebody about the military discount, and the woman he spoke to on the phone was actually really rude and snarky and told him he simply could let him go and not finish the service or he could continue but she wasn't going to do anything about a military discount. Then it came time for payment, we opted for a credit card, instead of a check, so he had to call it in, and the guy could hear him snorkel he talking to the other person on the line about who it was getting the service. While I was standing there. And when he handed me the receipt, I simply said, in the future, you should make sure that you have better communication at your company. He got super defensive and asked, what do you mean, to which, I replied the fact that we called and spoke to somebody else on the phone, to set up the appointment, and were assured that you not only took care of military, but offered a military discount and you're telling me you have nothing to do with that. That you don't know anything about that. He said well, then don't use our service, to which I replied, "I absolutely will not". And as he was getting in his truck , he said, "I sure hope your furnace works ha ha ha." As he drove away waving with a middle finger. I have already called the Chamber of Commerce in Apache Junction, Arizona. I have also contacted the Better Business Bureau. I won't ever stand for that kind of treatment from anyone regardless of what I'm paying. I hope you don't either. FYI: I had to choose one star to be able to post this review. I brought a motor home in for a non functioning water heater. I told them it does not even fill up with water. So I figured a check valve must also be broken. The mechanic called said it was a check valve and easy to fix when he took off the two an access plates 1 on the bottom and a round access plate on the back he claimed he could just reach in and unscrew the old one and replace it easily. The heating element is right there so once he got the check valve off he could of and should of stuck a meter on the element to see if it was still good. When ever a heater is operated with no water it Frys the element. I pick it up I am build 1.5 hours labor I thought wow when the mechanic call he stated easy fix reach in a screwed off the bad one and screwed on a new one. I did not complain or question the charge. I get home and plug it in over night no heat. I called today they said they would not replace the element because I did not specifically state to. That I have to pay for another hour in half labor again. I asked how come when the mechanic called to tell me it was done, he Stated it was easy he could reach in and do it easily. He checked said the LP gas fired up right away. If they knew what they were doing everyone knows if it runs dry it Frys the element. Very bad service I paid $155.00 Still no heat. Now another 150. Plus parts. To fix it right. Should of been another $10.00 for an element the first time read more

I would have to say I am quite impressed with how efficient and resourceful this shop is. I was in a bit of of a jam with my Rv and planning to go on a trip up North for the weekend, unfortunately I immediate had issues and was able to make a quick stop a few miles away and had some immediate work done, the owners seem like very nice people and very knowledgeable and able to help. Overall great experience , highly recommendable in my book. read more

To the lady with absolutely no customer service skills that answered my call. I say thank you. I called requesting a quote to repack the wheel bearings on my camp trailer. Not once during the entire conversation did I feel welcome or anything at all like a possible new and future valuable customer. I felt like I was intruding on her day and before the conversation was half over and I got my quote I probably wouldn't be going there. The other half of the conversation and quote confirmed I would find a shop that appreciated my business and welcomed my questions and concerns. Once again. Thank you. Your competition confirmed what I already knew. Most small businesses are very competent, professional, and will do there job to grow there business with new and existing customers. Instead of making a prospective new customer make up their mind on the initial interaction. That they wouldn't do business there within a few short minutes of phone inquiry. Terrible customer service, no call on late appointment showing and office is rude. I would recommend anyone else.

They were quick about coming out and were friendly and courteous but that's where it stopped. They were not knowledgeable about what they were doing. We had them replace a plain vent in our Class C for a remote vent with a fan. Simple fix yet they did it wrong and hooked it up to the lights. So anytime you want the vent on the lights had to come on as well. Charged us LOTS even though my husband took the old out. We had another service come out and within a half hour it was done right so no more having to turn on the lights and MINIMAL charge it was done. AJ RV parts and services overcharged us!! read more

We rolled into Lost Dutchman SP with no trailer brakes. Several people recommended AJRV. I called and set an appointment and they came out to the park at the designated time and got started right away. After a through diagnosis they found melted brake wires that had been stuffed back up in the axles from some previous service on my suspension causing a short. 15 minutes later I had trailer brakes. Tom and Robert were very professional, communicating with me as they worked and were determined to find and fix our issue. I hope I never have to use AJRV again, but if I do I know my family and I are in great hands! Thank you to everyone. read more

I rented a RV to go hiking for a few days. While inspecting, I noticed that I had a water leak, due to a snapped water line. My friend convinced me to check out this place and let me tell you. They are such friendly people! They assisted me in fixing my line and provided preventative maintenance advice for when the RV is not in use. I was in and out, smiling the whole way through. I've used them on several occasions and each time, the service has been great and the pricing fair. This time I made an appointment to have the toilet in my motorhome replaced. They had it in stock so I drove the hour to get there. They started within 15 minutes of my arrival and installed the new toilet and without prior warning I asked them to clean the burner in my fridge, which he did. He had everything done in an hour and had me on my way back home. I have no qualms about referring them and will continue to use them as my service base when I'm in the West. read more

This is a small Mom & Pop RV Parts and Service shop where I have shopped for parts and supplies for many years. After reading the single review, and then checking out the Reviewer, I decided to have the wheel bearings pack on our small Travel Trailer. I stopped in and made an appointment for the following Tuesday at 8AM. When I arrived, they were ready for me and immediately went to work on it. I was told that they would not do any additional work (other than wheel bearings) without having me come look at what they found, and my approval. A few hours later they called and said the work was completed and I could pick it up. When I paid the bill it reflected the replacement of a bearing, and they provided the old bearing and showed where it was discolored (at risk of failing). As they had promised, the bill reflected the quoted price plus parts. They also indicated that it was a good decision to have the bearings packed at this time, based on the condition of the old grease. They also reviewed the condition of the brakes and magnets with me. Finding an RV Service shop that you trust is often a challenge, but my experience with these people allows me to recommend them without reservation. They do what they say, and when they say, something that's hard to find these days. read more
