I realized yesterday that my license had expired and went over to MVS tags and Title to see how to get this resolved. ADOT doesn't send out notices anymore so keep an eye on your expiration date. It's not your birthday anymore. I asked the staff member at the desk, and she was just awesome and let me know exactly what I had to do and said that the wait would be about 20-30 minutes. I sat down and was called about 10 minutes later and the process started at that point. I sat down for maybe another 10-15 minutes and was called up by Sonya who was just fantastic. All I can tell you is that it's worth the extra few dollars to get treated this way and speak to someone that is very personable and seems to care about your time and situation. Yesterday I made an appointment for 1:40 today to transfer the registration of my car from another state to AZ and to get veteran license plates. Within 10 min of my appointment time, I was brought forward, seated, and worked with Jeff. You go to a 3rd party for ease and convenience. That's why they charge an additional fee. I'm 2 hours in waiting for a permit to be printed. You are going to get the same service at the MVD and you won't pay the extra charges. Have been here before, but this tome was/is so bad that I am reviewing while here. Lol read more

They always have plenty of staff on hand. Even when they are busy they usually take care of waiting customers within 20 minutes. The state facility is way slower. The people here are always pleasant too. That makes a huge difference. I highly recommend MVS. read more

Half the employees are Ok. There is one employee however after the fourth negative experience I have had with her that will prevent me from returning. The last encounter she tried to tell me I could not transfer a motorcycle title into my name without registering it unless a class 1 inspection was done. I literally was just there the week before and did it for another motorcycle. When I asked why Kelly could do it and she could not, she walked away for 30 seconds then came back and said okay, we can do it because it's a motorcycle. Later when filing my paperwork, I realized she charged me for Street registration that I did not have to pay. I just sold a motorcycle with registration still good for a year so it rolled into the new one. There is no record in my receipts from them as to where that money went. I was charged $108.95 but the paperwork given to me only accounts for $47.95 Previously I was filing for a list title and paid them a bond fee of $150. In that process the title was signed over to me by the last registered owner. When I went in with that information, she refused to refund the bond. The time before that, Marry told me they do not do bonded titles, wasting my afternoon. read more

I took my son in today to get his license Kelly was amazing explaining everything when we got called up to Mary she was absolutely rude! Janell was also rude! I will be filing a complaint with the BBB. They have knocked my son down so hard that he had a break down when we left. No compassion no care no nothing. My son went to get his drivers license Mary was a rude bitch to me his mother. I didn't know what was going on she basically told me to sit my ass down she just needed my son who was 17 of course that upset him she then told him to go to the back and stop. He didn't know where the fucking back he didn't stop where she told him to because he didn't know where to go and she failed him! She didn't even give him a chance. Then I spoke to the manager who also didn't give a shit either!! I dread going to the MVD.. long lines, rude people and rude employees. Then I found THIS place on Meridian. No long lines, pleasant reception, and was called to the window in less than 5 minutes. The employee assisting me, Rebecca, was absolutely the most pleasant and helpful clerk I have ever dealt with. She was intent on making my time there not only quick and pleasant, but also informative, i.e. advising me of what transactions I could complete there and when the best time to come during the week. Careful with this place. Try calling in advance (I did but was unable to get though). In my case, they were closed and doors locked during business hours with a posted sign suggesting folks just come back the next day. Reason stated was that they were too busy. read more

Surprised yesterday to find the MVS store at Apache Trail and Meridian stopped checking customers temps and health status at the front door. Yet, customer seating is still 6 feet apart and face masks are required? Some of the service windows are 6 foot spacing but some were only 3 foot today? Two people were talking and laughing at the service window next to mine, only three feet away. Very nervous but I didn't say anything but should have! I think customers should have the right to refuse a service window, when called, when MVS IS NOT USING 6 FOOT SPACING! (This was along the North bank of service windows) Also, a male employee was walking around asking questions to the other clerks with his face mask pulled down. What's all that?? My clerk was friendly and helpful despite her slow PC. Sorry #MVSTagsandTitle but today's scary experience at your AJ store on Meridian was so unnerving you are getting one star. read more
