We were recommend to arizona rv to look at our wall inside our travel trailer and when we took it in they told us that the wheel barring needed to be parked and we told them just to look at the wall the next time we checked in they had all four wheels off and barring out and said they were burnt we didn't give them permission to do the barring but they decided to do them anyway and charge us around 9 hundred dollars thet including the shop rags .I will never recommend them to anyone nor would I be doing service with them again. read more

The quality and timeliness of the work were good, but the company's accountability and customer service were disappointing. While my RV was being serviced, the battery disconnect switch was left in the "on" position, which caused the battery to die. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. One employee even apologized and acknowledged that the switch should have been turned off. However, the service advisor made no effort to correct the issue after it was confirmed that the battery would no longer hold a charge. Instead, she offered to sell me a replacement battery and still charge me labor for the installation. She also stated that I was lucky she was not charging me simply to test the battery, because according to her, the company charges for everything -- even basic battery testing. We spent a lot of money on our repairs so it is really disappointing that they could not offer any solutions for their mistake. In the end, it is not right that they made the mistake of leaving the switch on, and I was expected to pay the full cost of a battery and the "labor" to fix it. (For those that are wondering, the batteries health and performance were great when I brought it in). In the end, the experience left me with little confidence in the company's accountability or commitment to customer service. read more

They set me up with an appointment a few days after I called and when I dropped the RV off Greg and Paul inspected every inch and recommended several repairs before they painted it. Purchased tires for my travel trailer and had them install them as well as repack my wheel bearings. The manager I spoke to over the phone told me verbally what the tire model would be but when I arrived, they had installed different, less expensive tires, tires I could have purchased myself from Discount which is where they got them, and saved at least $40 or $50 a tire. Since I had nothing in writing confirming which tires were to be installed, I had to accept what they gave me. They also charged probably 50% more than I would have paid elsewhere for the wheel bearings to get repacked. Hard to find a good RV service place, but this is one I will never go back to. read more

In July, 2025 I needed assistance with our slide out on our Class A RV and went to Arizona RV Service for the repair. Based on my experience with this company, I would not recommend Arizona RV Service for RV repair or service. The company failed to communicate the status of the RV repair work and there were many unnecessary delays. To make matters worse, their charges were excessive and I do not believe they performed all the services that I was charged for. I came here to get a rear window re-installed, after getting glass replaced that I got back from Apache Glass. I told the sservice writer named Judas, that I purchased stainless steel screws from ACE Hardware and told them to use them. After I paid for the work, and got home, I discovered Sabino, the installer had over-torqued the screws. Almost all the phillips screw heads were stripped into round holes, by the power screwdriver. I called Judas told him what happened. I had to make another appointment to make it right. I told them I did not want them to use MY stainless steel screws, just cos they ruined the ones that were in the window already. Well, Sabino just didn't get it. 3 times I was summoned "Ok, he's done, come and inspect", Sabino still left screw heads that were stripped into round holes. 3 times! I thought, Oh this guy just doesn't get it, and doesn't SEE, or care about doing things right. All this took me 3 hours of waiting time, in addition to my previous visit, which was about the same 3 hours. I would not trust Sabino to ever work on my camper again, because he doesn't SEE the difference between error and good job, and I have to show him again and again, and he only corrects what I showed him. Also I had a problem with my Norcold fridge not cooling. Arizona RV Service could not diagnose the issue and was going to cost me a lot of money just to look into it, like $350 just to pull out the fridge, as all the controls, they said, were hidden. They didn't even wanna look at it. I said it works at Phoenix elevation, but when I get up to 7500 feet, like around Flagstaff or the Mogollon Rim, my propane flame does not want to stay on, flickers, or goes out. So I drove my Toyota Sunrader to Arizona Route 66 RVs, at 7500 feet. Several of the 5 star glowing reviews were about how Route 66 RV repaired their refrigerator. Make sure you read the Not Recommended Reviews in the link near the bottom of the first page. Jeff had a bit of trouble accessing and getting to the sensor, maybe took him 15 min for access. Once he did, he cleaned the sensor with some sandpaper (without removing the fridge, access from the back of the fridge thru the door on the side of the RV). Whole job took 30 min and cost me $150. Jeff solved my 7 year mystery. Told me it had nothing to do with altitude. I was so pleased with my experience at Arizona Route 66 RV Repair in Bellemont (10 miles West of Flagstaff on I-40), that if I ever need RV repair, I am willing to drive 140 miles to Arizona Route 66, from Phoenix. Reading so many 5 star reviews of Arizona Route 66 RV will convince you to do so, too. Fridge works fine still today 1.5 years later. Thanks to Jeff "knowing his stuff". This was the text to my original review: I am extremely disappointed in Arizona RV Service. We had an issue with our camper and based on reviews decided to take it to Arizona RV Service, poor decision. My wife was handling the communications with service department and was told different stories every time she called. We received several different time tables on completion date (from 4-5 days to 3-4 weeks). My wife approved them to look at the brakes and grease the bearings. She was told this would cost no more than $500 (way to high in my opinion, hourly rates of $175.00), ended up the costs were over $650 (highway robbery). Then went to pick up the camper and the bill was over $1600.00. This was for an insurance deductible of $500 and the brake/axle job. The billing error was not caught until I questioned the bill. Then when getting the camper home found that the box for the new awning was still in the camper. After all these issues, I contacted the company to see what they could do to correct these issues and all the offered was a free $200 camper wash. No thank you, I want to take my camper to a place I trust, and Arizona RV Service is not trustworthy. Since this review the owner of Arizona RV Service reached out to me and offered a refund of $150 due to the excessive charges for the brake/wheel bearing inspection repair. I did a lot of research before entrusting Dave and Arizona RV Service with a major repair to a 2007 Airstream Basecamp. This was a major job that required the entire aluminum shell to come off and the subfloor replaced. In addition they replaced the A/C, a fan and several other items. We had them make several fiberglass repairs and put in a fresh coat of paint. Easily in better than new condition now and I couldn't be happier with my experience. STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE!!! This place is the type that welcomes you in with enthusiasm and really presents well. Then they begin the upselling. First indication they dont really give a rat's tail about your problems, just how they can get you to willingly give them more money. THEN, the slow, shoddy, half-baked, non-skilled labor gets involved. To save space I'll say it took almost an entire year and repeated trips to their shop, (AND 1 service call 200 miles away!)to get the work done what I thought was correct. One example: paid to have brakes inspected and tested, wheel bearings repacked. Bearing cap fell off during a road trip, contaminated grease.Took it back, insisted on a NEW bearing. 1000 miles later, the photos show how THAT NEW bearing worked out. Mechanic reports it was not installed to specified torque requirements, became loose and destroyed my axle. I have more photos and receipts to prove my comments. I called the office yesterday late afternoon to request a mobile service appointment. Received a call back first thing this morning to let me know that the tech was available to come out this morning. Mark was able to find the source of the water leak, get the parts, and fix it the same day. He was very nice, courteous, and explained everything that was going on with the trailer. Scheduled service for our can lights not working and re caulking of our shower. Mark was our technician and he got to work on our lights. We had thought it was the switch so we had tried to install a new one but that was not successful. Mark started trying to trace which lights had power and he was worried the problem might be in the wall. Luckily he was able to find the short in our electrical cupboard which had caused wires to melt and char. We feel lucky to have had Mark who was willing to take the time to track down the problem. After he got our lights going he tackled the shower and did a wonderful job recalling it. We have been full timing for 7 years and have had various RV repair technicians work on our rig but Mark was one of the beat. read more

So I ran into some hiccups with my go to shop for RV repair. I started googling and that's when I found Arizona RV service. I was in in a pinch and needed my RV fixed before an upcoming trip. They got me scheduled and assured me I would have my unit back in time for our trip. When I dropped off the coach Judas was very helpful and professional. We walked the unit and discussed the issue, completed paperwork and that was that. Low and behold they were true to their word, crazy I know. I picked my unit up a week before the trip. The majority of the work had been completed minus a part that was on order. We made our trip as planned. I received correspondence from Allie that the part had arrived and I could bring the unit back in. Allie communicated every step keeping me in the loop. Pretty obvious attempt to rip us off and over charge us for work that didn't need to be done. Staying here in Mesa and traveling from Florida we needed to have the rear axles seals replaced on our 2006 Hurricane Class A to safely move on the CA. From the moment we walked into the place it was a bad experience. I asked if we would be credited any of the labor time to do the initial inspection if we went ahead and approved the work and they guy with glasses who sits at the desk to the left to the left of the front door, instead of explaining to us that we would NOT be credit any labor time, he choose to get defensive and argue with me after I explained that other places sometimes credit inspection cost if you use them to do the work. I should have just left at this point.. We also told them on the phone before the appointment as well as when we arrived that we were pretty much homeless until we had the RV finished. Therefore time was very important to us. Not to mention it was 110 degrees and my wife and I we were on foot till it was done. It took these guys from 9am till about 3:30pm just tell us what was wrong and how much it would cost. I also had to call them 2x's during the day for updates and finally decided to go back in around 3pm to still have to sit there and wait 25 mins before they could finally even give me a quote. It was so ridiculous it was almost like they were making us wait on purpose. So here is where the rip off part comes in. I knew going in we need both axels seals replaced in the rear, that's why I was there. This can spray oil on the brakes and cause some contamination which I was also totally aware. However, to properly determine how much oil contamination you need to first remove the brakes calipers and Pads to see if the fluid has soaked the pads. They did NOT remove the brakes, or calipers during the inspection and then proceeded to tell me I would need to replace both sets of brake pads and both rotors since they are soaked in axel fluid which was about $1000.00 of work. They told when when oil gets on the metal rotors it ruins them... I guess they didn't realized they were talking to a 25 year performances/ race level mechanic that deals with hydraulic brake systems pretty much everyday. Rotors are metal and if they have continuation you can resurface them or simply clean them off with brake degreasers. You don't need to replace them and further you wouldn't know if you had to replace the pads unless you took the caliper off and pads out and inspected them, which again they did not and even told me they did not. I also had a leak coming out of the back parking brake/transmission assembly that i asked them to give me a quote on. These guys told me the seal was not repairable and I would need to replace the entire parking brake assembly. They wanted $1750.00 for the part and 3 hours of labor. Therefore I left, very frustrated and was actually embarrassed for these guys. I drove exactly one block down the street and turned in to their competition. The next day they gave me an appointment. They took the calipers off and inspected the brakes and said the pads were 100% fine. They even took me out to show me everything while it was apart. I asked them if they needed to replaced the rotors (just to see what they would say) and the guy looked at me and said, "why would you do that?" I then showed the leak in the parking brake transmission assembly and told them I was quoted $1750 for the part and 3 hours of labor. He laughed and said who told you that, that's a rear transmission seal. We replace them all the time. It's $65.00 for the seal and $400 to replace it. The quote and bill form the place down the road was $2,270.00 less than Arizona RV LLC. Arizona RV wasted an entire day of our time, quoted me thousands more dollars in works that did NOT need to be done and the employee that sits at that right desk is rude, has very poor customer service skills and talks to you in a condescending manner. And they charged me $55.00 to basically wast my time and sell me work that didn't need to be done. Don't go here. read more

Wow! These guys were great. Andy is very talented and personable. We were in town visiting in our '07 Itasca when our original equipped Norcold refrigerator decided to cough up and quit. I called my Texas repair dealer and they told me it would be 2 weeks before it could be looked at. Hay! It's Phoenix and 105 degrees & no refrigerator? I found AZ RV Service on line and they rescued us and saved our trip. Within a day we knew it had to be replaced, and a new unit might be 2 or more days out. But no, the next morning Andy was installing the new one . Had some slide issues coming down from South Dakota in Nov 2018. We were late getting to our appointment that morning. They did do a long hard look at our issues (had several) took some time (which they told us it would). Once we had our options laid out for us WE selected which one(s) to do. They set to work, setting us up with electricity and water for the next 2 days so we would not have to go to a hotel with our pets. I have been back 2 more times for additional work...drove up from Yuma after hearing from other folks about the terrible repairs being done there. Well worth the drive! The guys fixed a slide topper that had actually damaged the top of the slide unit when it got stuck.. they then suggested a simple modification to prevent the same happening the to rest of my slides... Damaged the awning on my Micro Minnie. Dealership couldn't tell me what awning I would need or how much it would cost. Did an extensive search and a lot of the repair places looked shady or would take forever. I contacted Arizona RV Service. They told me to send pictures and they'd know exactly what awning to order. And they did! Don't know why the dealership that sold it to me couldn't figure it out. They ordered the part and had me bring it in. About a week and a half later, work was done, covered by insurance and all good! Very friendly, responsive and honest. read more

At the peak of the AZ heat our a/c couldn't cope and we called AZ. The sent Rob who worked to get us operating and then to install two new bigger units. I took our RV with Onan generator for generator servicing. They quoted $125. plus any parts. Nothing said about any added service cost by the representative so it seemed obvious that the service was included with the er . . .service. He did say any parts would be over the $125. base price. Understood. I also mentioned that the previous owner said the airconditioner didn't start with generator power and to call me with cost to repair if it had a problem. When he called me he reported that they had found NO PROBLEM with the generator. I told him to replace the air filter also since they had it on the hoist. The price he quoted me for that was $50. So, I figured my bill would be around 125+50, plus some kind of tax. So, let's say $200 tops. When I went to collect the van I was presented with a bill for $337.88. Over double the cost of the original quote. I conclude that the representative I talked to did not know what he was talking about and needs to understand customer service or the company just blatantly overcharged me--then I wondered if the service rep worked on commission. Either way it did not contribute to a good day for me or a good review for them. read more

We had a bad experience with this company, first getting a wrong quote for the price of an item, then being charged 3 times over that quote. The item was part of a larger invoice, so we asked if we could pay half and pay the balance in one week. We got a "NO". So we paid half with our bank card and wrote a check for the other half, explicitly requesting that they hold that check until the following week. Instead, they presented the check on SATURDAY! They knew it would cause an NSF situation, but did it anyway. Then they over billed us $75 when we made up the bad check, excessive by any standard, especially when they caused it. Called them and explained our issue with one of the motors in our bedroom slide. They understood our time constraint and squeezed us in their tight schedule; not only that, but they allowed us to camp in their property with access to water and power! Early the next morning they determined the part needed and ordered it. While waiting for the part, they also checked on a different issue we had regarding our water tank. After making pertinent diagnosis, they explained to us the cause of the problem, showed us exactly what they were talking about, and gave us a solution and an estimate cost. For this particular issue we decided to go to the coach manufacturer, since it was a poor design. By the end of the working day, our slide was fixed and we were back on the road.
