The resort itself is beautiful with its own beach made of clear white sand, Its own man made island, a shopping centre, bars, restaurants, arcades and many pools.

When we first pulled up to the Cay Beach princess bungalows we a little apprehensive as the bar area was very tiny and there was no lounge area for drinks, but we did remind our selfes that we usually stayed in hotels and this was only a self catering place and it would have less facilities to what we were used to. As this was only a last minute quick break we were not worried as we like to explore and have drinks in lots of different places. The staff on arrival were very helpful and told us how to get to our accomodation and this was explained very well and we found it straight away. on opening the door we were very impressed we had two large sofas and a dinning area with four chair in a split level longe the table being on the higher part. it led to an averagly stocked kitchen with the usual cutlery in it, personally myself i don't enjoy eating in other than for a cup of tea/coffee. The place had a small courtyard off of the kitechen where they had a pull out washing line and a sink with a bucket and mop in it. the bedroom was just off the lounge this also split off into a large bathroom. All together i was very impressed with what i saw. The ppol was spectacular better than some 4/5 star hotels i've stayed in. They had plenty of sunbed lots of room and thpool was huge they also had a large childs poolwhich was heated in the winter months, they had a paddling pool for tots and a large jacuzzi for around 145 people. They also had some hydro beds in a little area like a sunbed in a small pool that would have jacuzzi style bubbles down the back of it. very nice. A good little pool bar serving snacks as well as the usual drinks. open from 10.30 when we were there but in the summer i'm sure it would be earlier. They have crazy golf, childrens play area, 3 pool tables, table tennis, air hockey and various board games you could rent. A great place to stay AAA*
