Called to get an estimate and a nice gentleman came in to look at the roof and emailed me an estimate. I received the estimate and they stated that the estimate is good for 15 days and I decided to do it so I call them and they now want an extra 4000 dollars..... I laughed and looked for someone else.... A few days later I find a better company with a better price and phenomenal service. Roof is now done all good to go. read more

We have a flat roof that is leaking in the garage and hallway. We had pooling problems too. We had four estimates from four different companies and they all ranged from VERY high too very low prices. These. Companies (per website, etc.) were all local companies. BS, two were outside Santa Clarita. The roof was only 871 sq ft. So not a big job. But, Apex come in with the right material (PTO)and a good price. They were always on time, cleaned up each day. Which made it look like they were not here after they left each day. Very polite and friendly staff. The end results were great! Added a drain in the garage and should not have any pooling from here on. We would ask Apex to come back again, and helping local businesses during this pandemic. Nice job Apex!!! read more

Apex roofing they have no liability they ate RIP off We have make fix roofing put plastic on roof ,last wheek the guy said if its came off we will fix it , from wind its came off we called them , they said they will charge6for fix ? They should fix without charge, what kind of work that is came off plastic from wind ? And they took whole money first $500 then put , no deposit, half full money for plastic , cant trust on there work , its very very poorly work , I don't want give any star ,this 1 start to show how bed they ,rude. I made an appointment a week ago to have repairs made to my roof. We scheduled a window from 8-12. At 11:30 Apex called and said their repairman could not make it. I expressed my dissapointment and explained I took half a day off from work. I got a call back 10 minutes later saying they found a different repair person and would be at my house from noon to 3. They ended up being a no-show and I took an entire day off of work for them to flake on me. I'm very disappointed to say the least. read more

Watch out! These people will gouge you given the chance. I called to request someone come out to straighten and firmly attach two cap tiles the had been blown askew during the last high wind event. Although the crew came out quickly and fixed the problem, Apex charged $550 for a less than a one hour job. Shameful. read more

Do not let them do a roof certification if you are buying a house! Apex did a roof certification for me 3 years ago when I bought my house with a two year warranty. When I called about the warranty because some shingles blew off the lady told me the warranty doesn't cover that and hung up. There has been a significant amount of shingles blow off in the last couple years so I inquired about having the roof repaired. I have had several roofers come out and give me estimates and opinions. All the roofers, including there own estimator have no idea how my roof was ever certified and the roof was junk 5 years ago and should have never been certified. I am now getting it replaced for $10,000 . I tried to contact a manager and have left messages for her to call me. She never has. read more

Lets see they don't even respond unless their deposit is cashed, then they'll call you weeks later. They will constantly reach out to get their deposit, but once they get that they disappear. I was told my "start" date was approaching but I come to find out its for a month and a half out haha. What a joke. Stay away unless you like to chase people then by all mean use them and let me know later how it went. Got a hold of someone and they tell me the person in charge has left early. I call again and get the same thing a few days later. We called to cancel later on and right away they state we wont get our $200 deposit back. Never again. read more

I have to say I was having a bad day when I called Apex Roofing because of the leaks in my roof. The girls in the office where so nice never rude to me. They where very busy but tried their best to fit me in their schedule. I'm happy I didn't go with another company because Apex is truly amazing. My roof had never looked so beautiful. Even my neighbor got their roof done by them due to the great job they did on mine. My estimator William was such a good person, he adapted his busy schedule to my schedule for a free estimate. I will most certainly be calling them in the future if I ever need them. read more

I guess there's a reason these guys have a 2 star rating. I made an appointment with them 4 days in advance, to address severe ceiling leaks in my child's bedroom. Made arrangements with work to be home that day. Appointment was for an 8-12. Get a phone call at 9am the day of, saying they don't have a repairman available. read more

I frequently spoke to Teresa who answered all my questions and provided outstanding customer service. Even though my husband decided to perform the task himself I wanted to leave a positive review because it was such a pleasant experience and I would highly recommend them. Don't use this company. agreed with Apex cost for the total job. After they completed the job, they told me it cost $500 more for stuff they couldn't account for when took the roof apart. I was pissed. They said there are lines in the job contract stating they have the right to charge for more. I am not mad because of the additional cost. Terrible job and warranty service. Roof done in 2013 and now having issues with flashing and flat roof. They refuse to recognize problem after I had two independent roofers look at it. Terrible customer service. Receptionist scheduled an appt with my senior citizen mom, to come look at a leak that was under warranty. Roofer no-showed, mom called back. Was told he was there and rang doorbell but no answer. Mom has no doorbell and she pointed that out. Then she said someone wrote the address down wrong and he went to the wrong house. Nope - not an excuse since my mom had already called after he was an hour late - they should have caught that, and my mom had them verify the address which was correct. Lie #2. Now, after wasting all morning waiting for him, mom is stressed because she's been told that now he can't come until tomorrow. The did a crappy job before and she wouldn't have called them again, but has no choice because it's under their warranty and she is on a fixed income. Any issues with the reschedule tomorrow will result in a call to the Better Business Bureau and posting on community pages about bad businesses. read more

I called Apex Roofing 10 days in advance and set up a roof inspection with Natalie. The day before the scheduled inspection I called again and spoke with Natalie to confirm our appointment. I requested a 1030am appointment but she told me that the only thing she time slot she could guarantee was between 8am-12noon. I could however call back in the morning and see if I could get a closer time once the days work schedule was posted. I called the next morning and spoke with James who said you are on the schedule today between 8am-12noon with a request for 10:30am. I said ok please ask the roof inspector to call me before he arrives. James said he would pass the request along. Well I never received a call and I have been waiting in the parking lot at the new commercial building we are considering purchasing and I called Apex at 11:50am and spoke with James again who said the inspector is just running a little behind and he will be there shortly. 1pm called again and spoke with James who now said there is a mistake that I was not on the schedule for today. I ask how is that possible?? I have spoken with you 3 times today and this is the first time I hear this "story" at this point I was wondering if his was grossly incompetent or a bold liar. I ask who was the inspector scheduled and James said it was originally William (the owner) and now it is Ray. So I have waited in a parking lot for 5hrs and 4 minutes for APEX Roofing and no one is able to come out and inspect the roof. OH, by the way their roof inspection charge is not free they charge $250.00 for the inspection and I did not have a problem with the price but it would have been nice to receive just one call saying hey sorry we are not going to be able to make it instead I wasted 5 hours of my time and now I have to find another roof inspector before we can finish this commercial loan.
