We needed a roof repair and AAA Roofing was recommended by someone on NextDoor so we got a quote from them and two others. The AAA quote was in the middle and I just liked the completeness of the work that was written up on the estimate, so we went with them. They were able to start work within a week. It turned out that they had extra expenses for work they had to do but Casey stuck by the original quote. That was pretty amazing! Had appointment for estimate 1/21. Casey showed up on time and was professional and courteous. When he was done he said I would receive an estimate later today or tomorrow. I received the estimate with a complete scope of work. The next day I signed the contract and the office told me they would call me with some dates to schedule about 3 weeks out. To my surprise they called me that afternoon and said they had a crew that became available for the next day. They showed up on time, completed the job professionally and cleaned everything up. I called several roofers to quote replacing a flat roof with 3 sections at different levels on a 4300 sq ft home. Jonathan came out, evaluated the roof and explained how they would approach the project. We had a quote (at a very competitive price) the next day detailing materials, permits, inspections, warranty (transferable) and project timeline. They even monitored the weather forecast and advised us to reschedule out one week to avoid potential showers. Once the crew was onsite, the old roofing material was removed in only one day. AAA Roofing Services has been maintaining my roof since 2020. So far, I have not had one leak. Recently, I noticed a crack on my skylight. My dual paned polycarbonate skylight was installed before we bought the house 7 years ago. Casey came to inspect it. In today's online world, finding a qualified, reliable, honest, friendly, helpful, and trust worthy roofing contractor is not an easy task. Today I found one of the best. I had the good luck to be referred to Lee Yosef and family owned AAA Roofing company. A few weeks ago, during an early winter storm I had the homeowners nightmare of a leaking roof. Being a 21st Century kind of guy Lee went directly to Google Earth and looked up my roof and was able to assess the situation....one that I had not considered....I have a roof full of solar panels. Oops I forgot about those. He advised me that I would need to have the section of the panels in the area of the leak removed so he could come out and troubleshoot the roof, find the leak and repair it. He knew I didn't need a new roof, he knew that I live in Venice Beach and his office is in Calabasas, and he knew it was coming up on a holiday weekend. Remember this is likely not going to be a huge job and the owner of the company saying that he will be coming himself. Nevertheless he put me on his schedule the Monday morning after the holiday. At this point his office manager and wife Anita took over. We texted back and forth frequently always keeping me in the loop. She helped me coordinate with my solar company so everything could be done at the same time. This is a family business and even though we had never met or done business before I felt a personal touch that is not usually the norm. Monday after the holiday weekend Lee arrives as scheduled, spends over an hour on my roof, and finds the source of the leak. He doesn't try to upsell me, or schedule one of his assistants to come back another day to repair what he found. He heads back down to his truck, grabs materials, goes back up to the roof, makes the needed repairs. I ask him if I can give him a check to pay for the work and he says something to the effect: "That's Ok, no charge." Now I'm not saying that Lee and AAA Roofing in Calabasas works for free, but for a company to go out of their way to help a homeowner make sure that a little problem does not turn into a big problem says more than I can adequately express. I hired AAA Roofing Services to do a full re-roofing of my 2600 square foot one-story house. The existing roof was tile in good condition, but the underlayment was 26 years old and wanted to replace the underlayment before installing rooftop solar. I got two quotes from licensed roofers and both were about the same. I selected AAA because they had just completed a job for a friend just a mile away and I liked what I saw! Now that my roof is completed I have nothing but compliments for AAA Roofing. The office staff is efficient (Nicole, Anita) and the contracting process was handled efficiently by e-mail. Casey Howard was my job manager; he was always on-time and definitely knew his stuff about roofing materials and techniques. Adrian was my job foreman. He and his team come up from Orange County to work on tile roofs. The crew was efficient and cleaned up every day before they left. Last winter exacerbated a leak in part of our roof that, in the past, had been patched several times, and now needed a "real" repair. AAA Roofing Service not only has the credentials and Yelp reviews to show their competence in roofing and now has given us unquestionable proof of that. Casey did a detailed inspection and explained the source(s) of our leakage. He displays a lot of competence, professionalism, and honesty. I am detail oriented so wanted to know the entire situation and the remedies, which he was very willing to explain. I felt quite assured that the job was going to get done correctly. And then Tropical Storm Hilary loomed upon us and I started to worry that my job hadn't yet been scheduled. Casey responded extremely quickly to my query, fortuitously had a crew that finished their current job early, and could schedule our repair for the next day. What luck for us! Ramon and his crew showed up exactly on time. In fact, they were a bit early and waited down the street until the agreed-upon time rather than assuming that they could start earlier (which would have been fine with me). Ramon and his crew showed the same degree of competence and professionalism as does Casey. They worked diligently and got the job done. When they left, I think they left our property cleaner than when they first arrived. A couple of days after, Casey came back and gave a full report of what they found and what they did. As a "detail oriented person" I really appreciated that. Rarely has that happened in past work I've had done on the house (or the car, or anything else). I have a 99 year old home and while we already needed a new roof, the last few years of heavy rains and bad storms accelerated that need. I requested a few quotes and ultimately chose AAA. One company didn't show up and blamed me, another didn't call back, and the other company that DID provide a quote was subpar. I recently fully reroofed my house and I'm so glad I went with AAA. My primary point of contact was Ryan and he was fantastic - incredibly responsive, knowledgable and passionate about his craft! Ryan knew that I was particularly nervous about a certain part of the roof, so he even made a second trip back out to the house to make sure that their proposed work would solve the problem and address my concerns. They weren't the cheapest, but also definitely not the most expensive - so the overall price was incredibly fair! The only frustrating thing was that I couldn't pay by credit card, but that's fine. We had a small leak after the rain so we got a few different estimates. We were told we needed a new roof or could get a patch job done with no guarantee. Ryan came out and was amazing! Super nice and knows his stuff. Did checks and took photos so we could see the area that needed to be fixed. Repaired it the same day and said since it was such a quick fix it would be no charge.
