Had a consultation with John Rodgers at San Ramon office. Claimed to have knowledge of VA loans, turned out he had no idea! I had to do the research to find out eligiblity..then he would argue with me about it! He took at least a week to get back with me about any questions I had. Horrible service. He tried guilt-tripping me on the fact that he had to do more work for the loan. Went with another lender...far more experienced...she answered all the questions he couldnt answer within minutes. John Rogers came highly recommended by a good friend of mine and I must say, he and his team greatly exceeded any already high expectations we might have had. We went to John looking for funding to buy our first home with an FHA loan. John was extremely knowledgeable and made the seemingly daunting process easier than I ever thought it could be. We looked for a house for what was beginning to seem like an eternity and John and his team were there for us every step of the way, answering any financial questions we had. When the time came to close they were quick and efficient, making sure we stayed on top of all the paperwork and deadlines. We ended up with a home that we love and a great interest rate as well.
