After all, he touted himself as "Mr. Eastbay" - an area where we wanted to buy our first home. We can attest to the fact that Wes is truly "Mr. East Bay" - he knows the neighborhoods, side streets, and short-cuts. While traveling from one open house to another, our first realtor (a person who boasted that the East Bay was "her place") would have to pull over several times to consult her GPS. Wes, on the other hand, knows the fastest way to get from point "A" to "B." Whenever we arrived at an open house, Wes was an active participant who would not only look at the house, he would hold up his iPhone flashlight to the areas of a room that most of us tend to overlook. What we're most thankful for is Wes' mindfulness: while my husband and I were busy taking pictures and videos, or talking about changing "this" and "that," Wes was looking at the scratches along a door frame ("The previous owner probably had a dog") or noticing items on the neighbor's yard ("There's a tricycle and toys on the ground, so there may be a few kids next door").
