I've been to Apex Nails a dozen times for a manicure or pedicure. They do good work and I never have to wait to be seen. I keep going back because it's close to work, and they're efficient and good. I just wish they would deep clean the place once in a while. They surface clean and sweep, but there are a lot of surfaces that need to be lysoled or dusted regularly. There's a bubble fountain near the front that looks like there's algae growing in it. A little pride in ownership would go a long way to help the salon. read more

Nails were definitely a 5/5, however the pedicure and eyebrow waxing was poor. There were several hairs left under my eyebrows, so no tweezing was done after the wax removal. WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE! DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON! I wish I could leave zero stars for this place. It is disgusting and their tools are NOT sanitized. I saw my nail technician remove nasty, dirty nail clippers from a "sterilized bag"- it had old, dirty nail clippings inside the clippers. Immediately I noticed a bad smell from their towels and water. Continuing.... My nail technician took exactly 10 minutes to clean, file, shape and apply polish to my nails. She did an awful job so I very politely asked her to please fix her mistakes and clean the cuticles a little bit better. She rolled her eyes and did not fix her mistake. She was incredibly rude and dismissive. She then proceeded to apply nail polish to her crummy work I had to ask her to take it off because it looked so bad! She did a spa experience "hand massage" that took exactly 10 seconds (I timed it).. I have never been more disappointed at a "spa experience" at a salon. Please avoid this place unless you want an infection and bad nail job. read more

Now I have noticed it's only 2 who can do the extensive designs and that's Jimmy & Lynn! Just book ahead or at least message them on IG or call the salon for availability. Just got my Valentine's Day set from Lynn today...as always...IM IN LOVE ! Like any other salon of quality you will pay the price for their work, so don't expect a full set with designs for $70...it's more like $150. But your nails WILL last about 3 weeks. $150 for 3 or 4 weeks if very much so worth it to me! (Be sure to specify if you just want a fill in or soak off. 2/25/22 Oh happy day...not so happy. Upon setting up an appointment, I was asked to text my name and appointment time so they can get it on file. I did so and received a confirmation back. Everything was in place until I stepped into the Apex Nail Salon. I was greeted after a short moment of silence by one of the guys. I was asked to wash my hands and I did do. I was asked to step into the palor and I did. The lady (who's name I don't know) asked me "what I would like to get done?" told her "I wanted to get my butt waxed." The technician (We will call her Blanche) said "Okay, back it is." I repeated myself and said "The Butt." Blanche said "okay, the lower back." Clearly I wasn't making myself clear to Blanche. I put both my hands on my glutes with a light smack and Blanche finally understood. Blanche said she did not do this..."unless it's a woman" I thought. She excused herself talked to her staff members. I could hear the amusement in the Male's voice. The smiles the lady technicians faces are plan as day. I saw this as I left the Apex Nail Salon. Some how I was let down that once again, another nail&spa can't do waxing for men. Not all men want hair removed from the simple arms, legs, face and whole back. I was looking for a new place to become my regular spot for nails and waxing and possibly massage. I left the store feeling like I did something wrong when all i wanted was hair removal from my butt. No, shaving is not an option. It us too itchy to do. The laughing and smiles i saw on the faces of the staff did not make my exit any better. So i am not sorry this review is a 1 star. I decided to try this place on a whim because I was in need of a full set and a pedicure and my usual place was busy. I called Friday morning to see if I could walk in. The tech who answered told me I could come in but to text the shops number with my name and time. No problem. I arrived 15 minutes later and was seated to begin my nail service. When I walked in the greeting to the shop was a little delayed. I am super big on being greeted when I enter an establishment and being asked how I can be helped. After a few seconds of standing at the door (the bells jingled which made the techs aware of my presence) they finally said "hello, how May we help you". My services began with Jimmy, then on to Lynn and ended with Henry completing my pedicure. Jimmy and Lynn worked super fast almost as if they were in a hurry but the shop was close to empty with no waiting customers. They executed my deep French gel set perfectly. My return to this shop is dependent on how long my nails and pedicure last. Total I spent $144 for a full set deep French gel and a spa pedicure for French tip gel. PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I have gotten my nails done for years. you can see my reviews on the nails salon I used to go to. I was trying to find a new place since my nail lady moved. I got my nails done by a lady, I believe her name is Sophie P (she sat in the middle row, closest to the door). She filed my nails (the previous color I had off) so much that it began hurting. She could tell I was hurting but said to me your fine. I said I get my nails done never has it hurt before. Then she looked at my fingers, and started shaking her head in disgust. I asked what was wrong, she said my finger nails are crooked and she can't do anything further to make it look better. I have never had a issue in the past. I told her in a serious tone, holding back tears, well my finger was sliced off and that is why it is crooked. She laughed, and continued painfully filing my nails. Then said well I must not be good, and was trying to make me feel bad. My nails were so thick that she eventually gave up filing. Then she asked Thu to do the design on my nails, she seemed done with me. Thu Seemed like a nice lady, design looked nice. I appreciated it. Then I go to pay. She charged me a $120 dollars for these nails= $60 for the acrylic (on my real nails) and $60 for the designs. I questioned Sophie P and she looked at me and said you must not be able to get your nails done often. This is how much it cost. I have NEVER paid that much so something on my real nail. Lynn usually does my nails and whenever I have a question she get VERY defensive and is extremely rude. I had no idea what was wrong and when I asked she said she wasn't doing my nails anymore Jimmy would do them. I didn't know why, I set an appointment with her. When I sat with Jimmy and asked what was wrong he completely ignored me and didn't answer any of my questions. I've been to this Salon multiple times and EVERYTIME they call me something other then my name, no matter how I correct it. I tired to give them the benefit of the doubt but I have consistently experienced a rude and unkind experience at this place no matter how patient I am. Getting my nails done and a pedicure is something that helps relax me and is a get away from my day to day stress. This place is VERY unwelcoming and if you ever have a question or advocate for yourself when you don't like something they blame it on you and treat you poorly. My biggest concern outside of the HORRIBLE customer service is the fact that they are VERY rough with the drill and cuticles. I have left this place with many cuts and when the drill is too hot and I let them know they just blame is on me and my nails. I HIGHLY suggest you go somewhere else! Had asked for design in the beginning of the manicure, which was noted and eventually delivered, but staff made a whole fuss over the matter alerting all of the technicians (thus everyone in the salon...) after the base color was applied. Did not think it'd be too much of a big deal since I asked about it in the beginning and they had advertised the design 2x on their Instagram, but it was, with several technicians explaining to me that it would be $80 as if to dissuade me from it. Among the difficulty and confusion between myself and the staff throughout the process, it was overall disheartening, heartbreaking, and embarrassing.
