have been using Comcast for twenty years. recently signed up for a 2 year contract . I had…read morespecifically asked about a potential move out of state, service and what would happen if there was no service at the new location. the rep assured me if no comcast service was available at the new location, then the contract would be terminated. I asked if there were any fees were associated with the termination and the rep said no. com e to find out., the rep lied to me about the termination fees applicable to the contract. I am now liable for 18 months of termination fees. talked to a person who claimed to be a manager on a subsequent call and he reiterated that the contract did say that there would be fees with the termination of the contract. Comcast will not stand behind any misinformation given by a rep. They are about your responsibility but not about their reps lying tot get a contract. Another company who cares less about their customers and more about the money.
