After completion we inspected the job to find some garbage left behind. They cut out our window well cover in order to pass chunks of concrete out through the basement window and left the damage for us to fix. There were several chunks of concrete from the demo that were left behind for us to clean up along with a gallon jug of what looked like pee, clothing, and other debris from materials used. After a good rain we returned to the house again to see performance, and we come in to a basement filled with water. Turns out a coupling was not installed well enough causing a water fountain to go off inside my basement from the sump pump. I had tried to discuss my frustrations with someone from management, but was only able to speak to the sales rep and someone who coordinated having someone come fix the leak. There was not an offer to go above and beyond at all. Don't get me wrong, I am thankful that they were able to come by on a Sunday to correct the sump pump after the leak, but your not gonna make it right for the ceiling tiles your system destroyed? Or clean up the mess it caused?

My first encounter with United Structural Systems company ( USS) was last year, when I had to face…read morethe decision which company I go for foundation repair at my house in West Virginia. It was equal bids on my project from two companies USS and Alltek. Unfortunately for me, I made the decision to go with Alltek Environmental Services company at that time. Foundation repair was finished in August 2019 by Alltek (please read my review, that I placed separately for Alltek). 48,000 dollars payment later foundation been done. I finally be able to place my house for sale this year and come to realization, after inspection is done on the house, that it is a presence of water leak in the storage area. I could not believe, how it is possible, when the foundation repair was just done 8 months ago. I guess, things were not done properly after all. After numerous attempts to contact Alltek company, I finally be able to get the response with another promise to "fix it" in the amount of $9,200 or later for free...if I take off my review of their company from homeadvisor.com. Lack of professionalism, poor craftsmanship and PR was major disappointment for me. To be honest, after I been treating inferiorly by Alltek, I did not have any desire to go back to the same company. I was looking for second opinion how to resolve these issues. I decided to reach out again United Structural (who I was hoped to remember me from last year) and explain my dilemma. Bobby K. (Sales Manager for USS -Charleston WV location) come to the rescue! He was willing to give me his unbiased opinion on the situation. Bobby K, "commander in charge", went to the house and informed me, that "downspout lines were never installed, the part on top of the ground went nowhere and tie back patch was poor quality". Simply put it, Alltek did a mediocre job. I immediately made the decision go ahead and proceed with United Structural Systems company for repair of the mistakes. I cannot say enough praise for the USS company and manager Bobby K. This re-du project was done in timely matter, communication was superior ( needless to say I live out of state and it was never an issue), area after the job was clean up to perfection and...the garage/storage area now look dry bone and beautiful. Awhhhh... maybe I should not sell my house after all?! I have a buyer on the house, and I am closing in 2 weeks and can say with all honesty, I could not do that without United Structural help. It was exceedingly difficult situation for me, and it was resolved by USS company with flying colors. Thank you again USS. I recommend you without any hesitation!!! Asked for missing info, a screenshot with the date of day I asked was sent, not original and not the same (they claim it was). Manager came to "assess" damage made situation even worse, rude, condescending. Entire experience was horrible. Their responses and attitudes after they had my money was pathetic.

I paid almost $4500 for this type of job and for products where all items of the quote was not installed and of the products that were installed they were installed incorrectly. (According to Basement Doctor brochure & video) After the installer gave me some lame excuse of why they didn't install all the products and why they did what they did it like I was some type of ignorant dumbass. Needless to say my blood started to boil. So to avoid conflict I paid the man as sent him on his way as I wanted him off my property asap. I have made contact the Basement Doctor's office and the salesman with my concerns and so far have gotten the brush off. Use this company if you choose but consider this a "buyer beware warning"

Phil and his team did an outstanding job transforming our crawlspace. Prior to the ninjas coming…read morein, our crawl space was a disaster (standing water, ground water intrusion, mold, damaged joists). It was a nasty place of the house, and gave us a lot of anxiety about potential expensive repairs in the future and the health hazards of dwelling above a disgusting, moldy crawl space. After carefully researching things online, we got in touch with Phil at Crawl Space Ninjas. Phil was prompt in communicating with me by phone and by text. We scheduled an initial inspection/evaluation of our Crawl Space. Phil was very thorough and worked with us to develop a plan to remove mold, treat the wood surfaces, install a water/humidity management system and encapsulate our crawl space. He did not try to sell us a package that was more expensive than was needed to address our issues and the price was very fair. When Phil's team began work, I was immediately impressed with their professionalism, hard work ethic, and attention to detail. The soda-blasting was incredible, and completely removed the mold from our floor joists. Thomas, Derrick, and the rest of the ninjas worked tirelessly to trench and level our Crawl Space and the water management system started doing its work right away. After encapsulation, our Crawl Space looks literally just like the photos in the Crawl Space Ninjas ad, including a very nice looking access door - a great improvement from the muddy and rusted grating we had before.
