I wasn't familiar with the name, but knew the location as there used to be another hair salon in that same building. Moxie has the corner spot in that complex and parking was easily available as I pulled into the lot . As me and my daughter walked in we were greeted with a loud welcome. Since it was late afternoon and they are fairly new, there weren't any customers in there so we got seated immediately. My hair stylist was Katie, who did an excellent job cutting my hair and while doing so explained the Moxie philosophy of teamwork. This is the first franchise that they have opened outside of NJ. My daughter decided to get a blow dry while she waited for me, but Katie was very quick in cutting my hair and once freed, she and the other stylist "Max" started working on my daughter's hair. We were in and out pretty quickly and I really enjoyed the warmth with which both the stylist received us and seemed very committed to their work. I am sure they offer other services too, but since I only came for a haircut I did not inquire, neither was there a need for me, but my daughter was planning some additional activity with them for an upcoming bridal shower for her friend. Great new place with extended hours, that I am sure I would find convenient, given I never plan for haircuts.

Then they gave me a whole story on we waited to long to bring her back which was around 3 weeks. Mind you the treatment has chemicals where you have to wear a mask for 90 minutes with a terrible chemical smell. They told us it was too long in between to do the job for free. They wanted to charge us again. I've been there at least 15 times every time I was in there with an appointment I waited at least 20 to 30 minutes as they always overbooked. I never said a word. The sad part is I'm dealing with my lovely wife dealing with brain cancer and I'm basically taking care of my daughter alone and they know this and met my wife as she has had her hair done there when she feels well enough. I will never go back there because of the greed of the company, the owners should be ashamed of themselves. Terrible terrible people!

I had always gotten my hair done in Manhattan and was wary of getting it done in the suburbs (was having nightmares of a chunky highlighted blond bob) but decided to give this place a try. I'm so so so glad I did! The space is immaculate and they have the proper procedures in place to safely get your hair done. There are 2 stylists and everyone had on a mask / I watched the spaces get cleaned in between clients. It's got great lighting and design and right next to the train station.
