I've been coming to EWC for 15+ years and since new ownership of the Westport center, it's increasingly become worse at customer service. I had an issue last Friday where part of my appointment was given to another customer. I had an appointment with my waxer from 5 weeks prior. She wasn't in for that appointment so I rescheduled to the following week. When I arrived, front desk said she wasn't in and I'd have to use another waxer. I grudgingly agreed and then I saw my waxer. So, basically, the front desk lied to me. They agreed that I could see my waxer but only for 3 of my services, not the fourth. I had to see a different waxer for that. They put me in with someone who as only been waxing for a month and left more hair than she removed. I didn't notice until I was home as the light in there is terrible. I have left 4 messages for the manager and have received NO response. When I called again today they said, she'd get back to me in the next week! It's already been a week. The customer service there is awful. Update to my review. The manager, Tiffany called me today and was extremely professional and helpful. Hopefully she can impart some of that good customer service to the front staff and they can feel better empowered to make decisions that are at their customer's best interest. Thank you Tiffany.

The 'light touch' couldn't have been more literal. And it was more of an 'energy' Session in my opinion. And to top it off, she finished early. Major disappointment, Waste of money and time. But instead of feeling pampered or valued as a client, I often left feeling like I was a burden. The owner's attitude is consistently rude, and I've been made to feel like the way I live or maintain my lashes creates "extra work" for them. (I barely wear makeup and I don't wear eye makeup). It's uncomfortable and unprofessional. On top of that, scheduling is rigid and inflexible, which makes it tough for clients with normal life demands.
