They immediately responded to our request, and set up an appointment for the following day to perform an inspection. During the inspection, they determined that the noise we heard that we thought was coming from inside the walls may have been an animal scratching the outside of our house, because there were no signs any animals were getting inside the house. We had wildlife traps set up in our house from a previous mouse and squirrel intrusion a couple years ago. The Pro Pest specialist inspected those traps and determined they were still operable and didn't need to be replaced. After his review, he determined that no services were necessary and didn't charge us for his inspection. He could have easily ripped us off and pushed a service on us that wasn't needed, but he didn't. I recommend using Pro Pest Control Service if you want a good, honest service and prompt response time.

After a few unanswered calls to other companies, I reached these folks, and they were totally no-nonsense. They were available right away, and came to treat the house while we were at work. Their spray worked like a charm on the first try, killing the hornets around the house and repelling others from landing. When the warm weather arrived, so did the carpenter ants, and I called these guys again. I'm not sure if they're a family business, but sure it seems like it - the lady who answers the phone is sweet and helpful, and the exterminator was the same guy who had treated the hornet problem. They were available to treat the ant infestation right away, and even had a seasonal "service agreement" that covers pest control for the whole year for a set price (which, in both of my dealings with them, has come in exactly at, or under, what I was quoted on the phone). These seem like good people doing an honest business; I'd totally recommend them to anyone who wants to place one call and not have to worry about it again.

When I tried to cancel they wouldn't just cancel and in order to book the consultation I had to give them a bank/credit card . Unfortunately I booked a consultation but then shortly after I spoke to them, I received a phone call from a local long running company in my town who came out right away and didn't charge me anything. I'm definitely worried now because they have my card number. They never officially canceled my appointment. They made the entire experience stressful and complicated. Critter Control was able to stop by quickly to give a quote for removal/repair within a day or two and then was able to immediately start the work to remove the squirrels and cover up the holes they made within two business days. They answered all my questions along the way and did a great job with quickly catching the squirrel who was causing the issues and patching up the holes with metal and metal mesh to deter any future intrusions. Overall, I'm super satisfied with the work they did, their responsiveness, and their price!
