UPDATE: in addition to the problems I noted previously, APN makes it difficult to cancel your contract. They are non-transparent about their cancellation policy: you have to momitor the end of your contract and call them multiple times to cancel or they will roll you automatically into an extended contract. Custimer service passes you off to one another and then requires a cancelation document (none of which is in the contract language). Finally, "customer service" is argumentative in response to a fair critique of their services. This service is overpriced for a system that often fails. Even when the system is inoperable you pay for service until it's fixed (which you must arrange to repair and pay for). read more

This business is horrible!! My system has not worked since before Covid and they still haven't fixed it. They sent one guy who reeked of alcohol so I asked him to leave. My 5 year contract expired in 2017 and they still invoice me every month. And bastards have the gall to send me to collections. After Kevin, the "friendly, your best friend" salesman cons you into paying $900 for a small system in a 700 sq foot home, he will disappear and never return any phone calls, texts or emails. If you need an "Alarm certification" for your home insurance, they will tell you there is no such document and they don't know how to get you proof that you have an alarm that monitors for fire or theft/break in. After many attempts, APN will tell you to contact the separate company that handles payments, Time Payment Corp. When you finally get hold of Time Payment Corp, they will tell you that APN will provide that information to you. You will go back and forth until the conclusion is Time Payment Corp will provide the documents. Time Payment Corp then sends you a letter stating that you have paid your bill on time but can't tell what you are paying for. THE WORST! read more

Stay clear of this flaky bunch. They just sell your contracts to a company called Time. If you want any service after you've paid for the install forget it. They have a ton of boo hoo excuses but nothing comes. When I complained that it's been two months and you've done nothing I was told I was "stirring up shit" and I should take my business elsewhere. Doeane came to do a check on the old system and because of him we talked to Peter and got a great deal on a top notch system!!   Tony amd John came and in 2 days our system is up and running.  They cleared out the old system and showed us how to operate the new one completely!!!!   Mahalo to Doeane amd Peter, but a huge Mahalo to John and Tony!!!!!
