I visited this place for dinner when i stayed at buffalo for one night. I visited with my husband and daughter. The ambiance of the restaurant was good representing typical Pakistani culture. It was nicely decorated with Pakistani cultural decorative stuff probably imported from Pakistan. The person at the reception was very friendly and we were happy with the service. The food was really below average both in quality and quantity. I live in Toronto so compared to Toronto this was pretty disappointing. We ordered half kg chicken karahi which was never half kg and the portion was hardly enough for two persons and half kg is more than enough for us here in Toronto. The taste the karahi was also nothing like Pakistan or Toronto. Since karahi was not enough so ordered a beef chapli kebab which was a frozen kebab and the taste was awful. I would not recommend it to anyone if you are looking for authentic Pakistani taste. The only good thing was staff who were very friendly and even gave a free ice cream to our daughter while leaving.

We visited this restaurant when went to buffalo for one night stay. We wanted to visit a restaurant with Pakistani food and found this. The ambiance is nice giving a Pakistani touch and feeling as there were some decorations and paintings from Pakistan. The service was not bad as we were served quickly and the person serving us was very nice. The food was probably the worst Pakistani food i had in a while. We ordered half kg chicken karahi which did not taste like Pakistani chicken karahi at all. The taste was nothing like Karahi. The worst part was the portion was extremely small. We order half chicken karahi in Toronto which is more than enough for 2 people but this was hardly enough for one person. It was certainly 250g and not half kg. We were 2 persons so had to order more. We ordered a beef chapli kebab and to our surprise, it was a frozen kebab which was served. The taste was nothing like real chapli kebab so we were really disappointed. Do not go here if you are looking for authentic Pakistani taste. We regret our decision to go there.

Nice clean space to eat spicy food and relax host is very kind and thoughtful. When a menu wasn't available they allowed a switch out at a discounted rate :) Would eat here again!

It's a hidden gem of Pakistani food. We ordered Chicken tikka, Chuna Dal, Chat papri, chicken karahi, garlic nann. Everything was amazing. They have huge sitting area. Service was really good and friendly. Definitely an authentic Pakistani food. Give them a shit. We came early lunch time so place was nit too busy, but started to pickup.

Come support a minority-owned ethnic restaurant. Pakistani cuisine - chaat, naan, tandoori chicken, seekh kabab, biryani, haleem, daal, lassi, and many more specialties. Desserts such as barfi, kheer, halwas and several types of tea. However, American fare is also on the menu- buffalo chicken wings, Philly cheese steak, fries, etc. Daughter tried the butter chicken (aka chicken makhni) and said it was good. Not great. Portion size a bit small considering the price -$15.99 for half. She enjoyed the mango lassi. I had the chicken seekh kabab with white rice. It was really good, had a spicy kick. Portion size was decent with two kabab pieces. In Cheektowaga. Near the 290. Parking is available. Nice ambiance with some ethinic touches.

Although we we the first people there at 1pm for dine-in, there was a steady stream of take-out orders getting picked up, as well as other (mostly men) coming to dine. The chairs are wide and overstuffed, and the tables are just the right height. It's a, "have another bite" atmosphere. There are long prayers coming from the speakers. Even a non-Arabic speaker like me knows that, "Bismillah" doesn't rhyme! The better half's take on his kebab? "This is the best lamb I've ever had!". I thought the shwarma and fries were great, but the hummus served with warm pita, some fruity, green olive oil, and a sprinkling of sumac/ za'atar really knocked it out of the park. I was dipping my fries in it! We ended the meal with a long slice of pistachio backlava. Oh, so good!

We started with the lentil soup, boiling hot and full of lemon juice and black pepper. Mango lassis for both of us, and when we asked for tap water, we were given an entire pitcher of ice water for the table, with two cups. My husband ordered lamb handi, cubes of tender meat in a thick gravy with tomatoes, onions and green peppers. He had ordered it "Medium spicy", but I think the kitchen was grading on a curve: It was less punchy than the soup. Still, I wouldn't order "Hot" as I once did here: The chef takes pride in his liberal use of peppers at this level. (The menu warns you: "This is a dish for stronger constitutions"). My lamb shashlik was char grilled on a skewer (thoughtfully removed prior to serving) with slices of tomato, onions and green peppers, plated on a sizzling iron plate. The chunks of lamb had been marinated: They were so tender! The garlic naan? Fresh from a tandoor oven, with a little char, lots of butter and garlic, and a little parsley. It was so fresh and good! After the meal our waiter asked us if we would like tea, but I couldn't have eaten anything more (though I strongly recommend their creamy rice pudding!)

For an extra $2 upcharge to get lamb I would have liked more. It was mostly bread and rice. The rice was excellent! Super flavorful. It took a while to get service and the water is bottled water. Not complimentary like most restaurants. No ice or glasses. Despite these quirks, I would absolutely return to try other items. Worth a stop!

The chicken was literally pieces of thigh meat marinated and grilled with your choice of toppings and a special sauce. The chicken was extremely tender and flacorful. I've never had lemon pepper seasoning on my fries but i certainly will now. Yum. The falafel wasnt overly dry and had good flavor along with the hummus. My partner ordered for us saying it's going to be a great lunch, and it was. He tried this place before. The large option was a perfect size for two. It's one of those restaurants where the best way to order is through their website. Or, just look at what they offer and which combo fits your taste buds the best. It would speed up the order process as well (at least for me;). I am not someone who can evaluate Middle Eastern cuisine from extensive experience or frequent consumption, but you should definitely visit Papa's Halal Gyro. It's truly worth it. Then judge for yourself. Yes, the garlic sauce is very intense but delicious. Just don't have it before a business meeting or if you are planning to have a rendezvous soon after your meal. The best, find a partner who loves garlic as much as you do ;). Next time, I'll try White Home/Dill Sauce with just a splash of Mint Sauce, and maybe a little Garlic Sauce on the side.

Great selection on the menu between curries, noodles, soups and rice dishes. I ended up with the Shrimp Dopiaza which ranks in one of my top favorite 5 dishes I have ever had. The flavor was amazing and SPICY, served with long grain rice, curry and lots of huge shrimp!
