We used a Groupon but were told we could also book directly and they would honor the Groupon rate, so just a tip to look for any deals you find and then reach out to them before purchasing.

No guidance on where to head out, just made sure I knew what I was doing, gave me a life preserver and sent me on my way. There's no dry bag so you have to either bring your own or leave your stuff with them, which I didn't know in advance. The launch area is easy enough, but then basically you're paddling out into the bay, which a lot of it was really shallow when I was there. If you're looking for just some straight up paddleboard exercise, then this is fine. If you're hoping to see a bunch of manatees and other wildlife, I would suggest elsewhere.

That is crappy customer service in my book especially after paying $430 + tax and $200 for gas (which is more than double the amount of gas we used!). Definitely will not be using them again!

Great place to spend and afternoon at the beach! There is a great playground right next to the…read morebeach and some great spots on each side to go fishing. There are 3-4 large pavilions on the beach, along with grills. There are a couple of volleyball courts as well. Showers and restrooms are located near the entrance/exit of the parking lot. A word of caution - there are some sharks in the waters, so you don't want to venture out past the no swimming signs that are clearly posted in the water. Two downsides to this location - there are no waves (I know that's no ones fault!) and the sand/beach area isn't maintained by a staff, so there is grass growing very close to the beach. One could argue that you get that "natural" beach feeling, so to each their own.

He was personable, patient and genuinely wanted to get to know us. What I appreciated the most was that he always reiterated that he would go at our pace and would not rush us. He constantly checked in through out the process and made it fun. Dan also mentioned a good mask was very important, which I learned very quickly in the first open water dive. That day I drove to Calypso and Rob helped me find the perfect mask. Day two of open diving at rainbow river was an experience I will never forget. I truly appreciate all the staff I have met there and look forward to future dives with the Calypso family!

It left me book and pay with no problems. Received confirmation that the payment was excepted and reservation confirmation number. A few hours later received an email saying to check the web site and call them. So I called the person n the line was very rude and all but called me all but stupid for using the website. He knew it was letting people book and did not bother to make that clear in his message. Some websites are only down for a matter of an hour. So he kept saying that his billing was a 3rd party billing and I was billed and it wasn't his problem. The receipt did say not valid until I received a call back. Well he still sent the invoice to credit card company. All the time knowing he was not going to provide the services. Now giving me a hassle about refunding my money. Terrible company!!!!!!

A friend and I rented the 16 ft Alumicraft with Bimini From Weeki Wachee Boat Rentals. The…read moreproprietor met us when we arrived and explained that the tide was very low, and that he wasn't sending out any other rentals for the remainder of the day. He assured us that the boat we rented would "float in a bathtub". This was not the case. To say this craft has seen better days is is a gross understatement. The dash was cracked and broken. The floor covering was torn. It was not possible to actually steer the boat with any precision, we had to spin the wheel one way or another and the hope for the best. We ended up dragging the boat through the shallow waters and off of sandbars for much of the day. I believe the owner knew we were going to have a rough time, but didn't want to sacrifice the $300.00+ reservation fee he had collected. When we returned the rental, the owner espoused the benefits of a pontoon boat, explaining the boat we rented Is geared toward experienced boaters. We never indicated to this man in any way that we were experienced boaters. That being said, the river is amazing, I am sorry we didn't have the opportunity to enjoy it fully due to the owner's greed and lack of integrity.
