I loved that we all had our own cottages and in the mornings we would gather at one and have breakfast and coffee together, just catching up. There was so much to do as well. The kids had a blast in the pool and some went fishing on the dock. We played games and chatted for hours. The cottages were well stocked and comfortable. I rented the 2 bedroom and it had 2 ac units to keep the place cooled down. I only had 2 gripes during this stay: 1. The shower head in the restroom. I'm not saying that it needs to be a rainfall shower head but a regular shower head set up in the ceiling isn't working. They need to just move it where a regular shower head goes, on the wall. 2. The bug bites. I mean, I get it, it's right on the water but no amount of bug spray worked. No home remedies worked. You just had to take it. I walked out of there looking like I have chicken pox but I had a great time! Other than that, everything was amazing! Tami and Lynn were great and any questions we had they were both ready to help. I will definitely come back but it won't be in the summer, I have learned my lesson lol.

They were quite generous with our rental time, and even offered us a free cooler with ice (next time!). Even though it was just the two of us, we were so thankful to have upgraded to the 8 person covered boat because it was a balmy July day and the roominess and shade were perfect. The boat navigation is incredibly simple, and both recommended routes were straightforward to navigate. Would definitely book again!

Perfect for birthdays, date nights, or a girls' day out.

Worst customer service. Went to we site said to call to book that book I g thru the web site was…read moredown. Wanted to check out the boats they had to choose from and if there was one for the day we wanted. After finding this info the was a place to click book. So I clicked the button. It left me book and pay with no problems. Received confirmation that the payment was excepted and reservation confirmation number. A few hours later received an email saying to check the web site and call them. So I called the person n the line was very rude and all but called me all but stupid for using the website. He knew it was letting people book and did not bother to make that clear in his message. Some websites are only down for a matter of an hour. So he kept saying that his billing was a 3rd party billing and I was billed and it wasn't his problem. The receipt did say not valid until I received a call back. Well he still sent the invoice to credit card company. All the time knowing he was not going to provide the services. Now giving me a hassle about refunding my money. Terrible company!!!!!!

One star. I trusted Riverview Marina with my boat, and my final launch there was the worst…read moreexperience. The side and rear camper enclosure windows were removed and tossed in the cabin instead of reinstalled, leaving the boat exposed. Rain got in and ruined my registration, insurance papers, and other documents. Medications got soaked and stained the captain's seat. That damage was preventable. Personal gear also disappeared. My docking boat hook and two dock lines were taken off my boat without permission. Crystal said they had the hook. It was never returned, and neither were the lines. I ended up replacing gear that never should have been taken. Billing was also an issue. The final amount was much higher than the quote, and I never received a clear, itemized invoice. JR installed my windlass, but the chain constantly jammed. Another mechanic later had to remove and reinstall it properly and said it was one of the worst installs he'd seen. The adjustment wrench was never returned. At the work rack, the extension cord for customer use had exposed live wire. When I flagged it, it was brushed off like it was nothing. There was also only one ladder for access; if the mechanic was using it, you couldn't even reach your boat. That's a safety and access failure. And when the office closed at 5 p.m., there was no restroom access. After all this, I was told someone would call me back. That call never came. Boaters should note that depending on tide and draft, getting out at low tide can be difficult or impossible. I expected basic competence and respect for my boat. Instead, I got damage, risks, and excuses. Boaters deserve better.
