We asked if we could use them for that day. They told us yes, but the theaters were packed, so we were okay with separate seating. Then they were going to charge us for another ticket. There were three of us. I asked them to refund our money for the tickets, but was told, "Oh, we can't do that. I'll give you two passes instead of three." So, your policy states that you only give refunds up to minutes before the movie. If somebody didn't see the movie, you can tell by the pass on the computer that it wasn't used. Why can't you give them a full refund or give them three passes to see a movie another day? It doesn't make sense to me. I would like my third pass, or I'd like all my money returned. Would like upper management to get a hold of me greatly appreciate it thank you

A good experience overall…read more The placement of this theater is odd, but welcome: it's seemingly out in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by residences and cornfields and mom-and-pop mechanics shops. That said, it's a good theater. I enjoyed my experience. It's not going to be the best theater you've ever seen in terms of the movie quality; I don't think, for example, they have a 3D theater. But it's really good, especially for the price. The screens are good quality; the lighting and atmosphere of the place is pretty fly; the seats are really comfortable. I sat in one of their two big theaters; it had reclines, a small table area for food, cupholders, and the sound quality was superb. The signage inside is good. One note: screens 1 and 2 are right beside the bathroom. Screens 3-8 are on the other side of the building, so if you have a show in one of those theaters, it'll be a walk if you need to use the restroom. Their popcorn was good; they have butter dispensers by the Coke fountains. The Coke fountains are fountains, so refills are free. Not sure about popcorn. They do have available booze, both beer on draft and some other options (see photos). Staff were helpful, theater was clean, experience was good. It didn't strike me as the best theater experience I've ever had, but I'd go again. Very pleasant experience, especially given the location.

While this may be suitable for a very brief stop or for locals looking for something close by, it did not feel worth the drive for us as visitors. I look back on my time there with extreme fondness and graciousness. I was given a strong, well-rounded training in all dance styles. All of my teachers were wonderful and able to give me a true dance education that made me appreciate the art form that is so often overlooked in our society these days. The owner Emily is amazing and is able to foster a dance studio environment that is strong and safe. My appreciation of dance came from this studio and led me to pursue dance in college. I received my degree in dance from WVU, and I have now gone on to teach dance and inspire the next generation. I always carry the experiences I have from DDH with me as I teach and try to embody the environment I was granted in my childhood. I would feel 100% comfortable recommending this studio to any child/dancer/family.

One hour before the concert, there was a free (30 minute) presentation where the director of music and the pianist told us about the pieces that we would be hearing so that we could appreciate them more. The Maryland Theater is very beautiful and we looked around during intermission. There didn't seem to be a bad seat in the house! The Maryland Symphony also performs at Antietam National Battlefield usually on the first Saturday in July. I've gone to this for many years and it's always worth thelong walk to the field from parking (a shuttle service is also available). They play lots of patriotic music and always end with the 1812 Overture, Stars and Stripes Forever and fireworks!
