Not 'special' at all! A 'special' offer lunch consisting of a spoonful of salad and 2 small Falafel…read moreballs wich sauce for almost $10 surely cannot be called 'special'. I felt deceived and taken for a ride. Even though the place is set up as a restaurant, plates were not available. My mini snack was put into an environmentally unfriendly fast food box. What makes business owners that they can get away long term with such bad service? They may have got my dollars that day but lost out on future visits.

The place is spacious with seating inside and outside. A really fun decor... Turkish, I believe from some of the writing on the paintings. I wish I had been able to take pictures, but alas my phone had died. Some of the seating areas were cushion arranged around a low table, made it look more authentic for sure. The service was incredibly friendly. The gentleman, owner, I assume went out of his way to explain the dishes. We settled on sharing the lamb kebab (gyro style) on "chips".... fries.. lol. Four different, salad type vegetables, hummus, and 3 sauces. All for 15 NZ$. Oops, when we got to the register, we saw the sign: "no credit cards accepted" We had only just arrived in New Zealand and banks had been closed. We had 0 NZ $ !! No problem at all. Just pay in US $. How much? Oh... $10 should be fine. This was amazing to us. To top it of, the plate we ordered was huge. We could hardly finish it between the two of us. There also was a jug of water available free of charge. If I could mention one thing to improve would be to add ice cubes and a slice of lemon to the water. But other than that, the place deserves a perfect 10 Five stars all around for the tasty food, impressive services and a great atmosphere all over. Highly recommend this place!

There's even a vast range of scrumptious sounding deserts on offer. The only thing I've tried from here is a kebab, which I enjoyed. I wasn't so sure at first because I was thinking if they do so many things I doubt they'd do any of them that well. But my kebab was just as good as I've had elsewhere.
