I had heard through the grapevine that this was just the best ever pizza found on the North Shore…read more So of course I pestered my partner to take us there for a takeout pizza mid week. I arrived around five thirty and the popular pizzeria had a few guests eating pasta on the front outdoor seating area. The owner who bakes all the pizza's himself is a friendly and humorous Greek man, and was only too happy to point out the fave choices of pizza for us first time visitors. The Top picks were Greco, a delicious topping of lamb, red onion, olives, peppers, tzatziki, basil and parsley (My first pick also). And the Quattro Stagioni which had Salami, Ham, Prawns and Mushroom, this was sensational (my second pick). As it was the premiere visit, we opted for the two small pizzas, costing both under 18 dollars each, and let me tell you, I thought I could have eaten a pizza to myself, however the servings were so great that I only managed about 2 pieces each. Beautiful pizza base , and the toppings are just divino divine! I will be back as soon as I can, to try more pizza flavours, and a pasta dish for sure.

Just need some good food during the interim of taking care of my mother in law in the NS hospital…read more We ordered one Divino Pizza and one Divino Pasta for three of us. The pizza and pasta are eally nice and far beyond my expectations (I preferred pasta a bit more). Got refreshed and continue facing whatever they are in the real life.

The main road of Henderson is run down but once inside the ambiance of this little restaurant is lovely and homely and i forgot once settled in for dinner that i was in Henderson. The service is great and i could tell this was a family business which i later confirmed on their website was the same family as when i was a child. The cannelloni was delicious and great price at $26. All round great experience and i will definitely be coming back now.

Adriatico is a funky wee Italian establishment that actually looks a bit out of place in amongst…read morethe cheap eateries and two dollar shops that line the streets of West City. Though from the street Adriatico looks quite small, it's quite deceptive and can actually fit a large number of people, and can be pretty loud and bustling when it's busy. But this is part of the fun - it's very Italian! Adriatico offers a great selection of pizzas and pastas, and I personally recommend going there with a group of friends or your family and getting a few pizzas to share. The 'Adriatico Special' pizza is absolutely delicious, but they are also happy to create a pizza based on your craving. My friend had a pizza with salami, pineapple, mushrooms, capsicum, bacon and cheese made up for especially for him! Another great thing about Adriatico is that it is both licensed and offers a BYOW option. This means that while their meals are quite pricey (the average dinner meal costs about $30), you can save money on wine by bringing your own. Bonus!
