Turns out I was misdiagnosed - I didn't have a neuroma which is what he gave me 9 injections for. The MRI that my next doctor ordered showed that there was no neuroma! So why the injections, which didn't work. When I received my 9th injection, knowing that 10 was the recommended limit, and still thinking that I had a neuroma, I asked, "is it time to consider surgery?" To which Dr. Dieboldt replied, "You need to think positively!! It leads to better outcomes." Really? If 9 injections didn't work, why would you be so naive to think that a 10th injection would do the trick? I quit his practice after that visit. He also had an insole/orthotic customized for me - but my current doctor told me that this insole is useless, and I've had to order a new insole that was molded to my foot. Fortunately I can think for myself and determine when I'm being given incorrect or patronizing advice. I wasted 9 months and $$ on this practice.

I normally get a message & an adjustment every two-three weeks. Because my muscles are so tight, the practitioner has to be careful when working on my neck. I find Dr. John quite smart about knowing how aggressive to be in making the adjustment. I use Shannon for my 60 minute deep tissue massage, although if I'm in a lot of pain I'll try 90 minutes if she can fit me into her schedule. She is quite adept at finding the worst areas of pain & tightness and helping me loosen up and reduce my pain levels. No one should HAVE to go to a neurologist. But, for those like me, where it's medically a necessity, this is the man to see. I'll admit, I'm a snob when it comes to medicine. It's a field I've dedicated my career and it's a field I take serious. I only choose those who are superior in their field. Not only does Dr. Kao know a lot about a lot of things, not only is he a researcher who is abreast of all the new therapies, not only does he have a compassionate bedside manner and talk to you, he's just a nice kind man all around. He's a genuine man, who even visits you bedside in the hospital, he guides your care, and is aggressive and thorough with treatment. He doesn't half any thing. He gives you his all. He even does the nerve conduction test (EMG) himself to ensure accuracy. When I was first told to come to him, I bubble snotty begged him to help me not get to the extreme. His response, "I won't. We'll do this together". His staff is great. Molly, the head nurse? Love, Love. I'm a busy person and she is diligent with the Follow-up. She ensures you don't skip through the crack regardless how busy you get. The front desk staff?? Love again. They even have an app to communicate your health status.
