I've lived in Northern AZ for several years. I've seen ALL the shops in Sedona. They all tend to sell the same thing and are overpriced. Appaloosa is hands down my absolute favorite shop in Sedona. Terrific prices. My husband bought a quality leather belt. Michael custom fit it to him. I bought a bad@ss turquoise cowgirl hat. They were so friendly and fun to talk to. Gorgeous selection of some of the best Native jewelry I have seen. Makes Garlands look like a joke. (Which, by the way I stopped in there, rude and zero selection). An amazing selection, tremendous service, and value more than fair for the quality. We wandered into this store and it was a real highlight for our whole family. Several of us shopped one day and when the rest saw what great things we got, they insisted on going back the next day. Then everyone got something! My family and I walked into this charming store on our second day in Sedona. So glad we did. The store takes you back to another time and place and is filled with so many great handmade goods. As I watched the shopkeeper hand size and finish my belt I was in awe by the attention to detail and quality of craftsmanship placed on each step of the process. I absolutely love my new belt and buckle and we picked up two buckles for my wife as well. I would highly recommend this shop to all interested in leather belts and beautiful buckles. Excellent quality and good prices. Best selection of belts you will find anywhere. I bought 2 belts at the previous Durango CO location years ago. While granted, I don't wear them everyday, they are well worn and still look almost like I bought them last week. This is superior quality that will last. They also have other items for sale including Turquoise and silver. Overall all great craftsmanship, quality merchandise and a place we highly recommend. We were happy to find the Sedona location since we had not found this business since the Durango location (which we believe was closed).
