I desperately needed help with color correction and hair breakage, the result of a visit to another salon who just kept repeating the same mistake over and over in their efforts to do better. I was desperate and started searching the web for the best in my area. Applauze kept popping up and so I decided to call and make an appointment. I do so wish I had found them months ago - years ago. Morgan listened to my concerns and to what I was wanting and hoping to achieve and with absolutely no hesitation, assured me that she could make that happen, offered some suggestions and proceeded to accomplish what I thought would be impossible. All the awful "orange" color is gone and now I have the most beautiful shiney, healthy looking pale champagne colored highlights in a healthy, beautiful natural looking light brown head of hair Love it and my hair never looked more beautiful or more healthy. RACHEL HARTLEY RACHEL HARTLEY LOVE! The best experience here ever. You walk in and the staff is absolutely fantastic. All welcoming and fresh faced. I went to Rachel to get my hair the perfect blonde, and let me tell you... She did more. I went previously to Swagger salon with virgin brown hair and ended up miserable by having to make it tolerable by using Sally's products for a month until I could make it to Rachel. She is worth every dollar. You'll find yourself relaxing with a glass of wine and chatting up a storm while getting pampered. After finding yourself having too much fun ahha, you'll see the end results and just be amazed. I'm a regular customer to Rachel now, and I can promise you I will never be going to another stylist again. I had my friend get her blonde corrected here as well, and she raved all week with me after we got done. Natural looking blonde is what I get every time. I get asked everyday "you're naturally blonde right?" and I just live it up. Rachel will give you exactly what you want but make sure you're getting there correctly. My family has been going to Applauze Salon now for around 5 or 6 years. My boys and I see Virginia and have been so blessed to have her take such good care of us. She is the only person who can cut my eldest son's hair. He has super thick hair and if it isn't cut right, it can be bad. As for myself, I have super fine hair and it can be easily damaged by too much color or heat. Virginia is always very careful about what she puts on my hair and gives good advice about styles that may or may not work with my type of hair. Virginia has been in business for years and has built a very large and loyal clientele. She is excellent about confirming appointments (so helpful) and helping to remind you to schedule your next appointment before you leave so that you can have choices about the times and days she has available. One more thing... I was laid up from having a very difficult surgery a few years ago and after hearing about my illness, she offered to wash and blow out/style my hair, free of charge. Morgan is amazing!! I am pretty low maintenance when it comes to my hair, but when I pay to get something done, I want to be 100% satisfied. I've lived in Denver for almost 3 years and Morgan is the first stylist I've been to who really understood what I was looking for. I've been wanting beachy blond hair for over a year, and no one has been able to get it right. Morgan really listened to me, specifically when I said I did not want the ashy white blond that the last 2 people had done. She did a subtle balayage with a warmer blond and then finished it off with an all over toner that really finished the look. This was done in late April and I am still extremely satisfied. She even offered to do another toner application in a few weeks if it started to grow out too much, but it is still looking brand new! I have received so many compliments on my hair too. My son has had Christen (the shop owner) cut his hair for over ten years. My son came home from collage to have his hair cut by Christine. I have been going to Christine for the last six months. I have never had a better hair cut and had so much fun getting it cut. Applauze is a nice community Salon where the clients and stylists have fun talking and joking and receiving great hair styles. I have had curly hair since I was a teen which was a long time ago. After reading CJ's comments I requested a cut to remove the curls, unfortunately even as great as Christine and the other stylists are none have the magic to remove my curls. The atmosphere is a key component of the styling experience. Please understand if you are working the system for a free haircut please go elsewhere you may be using my appointment or other friendly client's time. I was a bit skeptical because of a bad review on here but I thought the good reviews far outweighed the bad ones especially for Morgan. I would encourage you to view the website too. I was encouraged that each of the stylists had nice haircuts--yeah, you expect that but we all know that isn't always the case. I found Morgan to be very nice, confident and professional. She listened to what I wanted and offered suggestions. Her confidence helped me relax and helped me go with a bolder style. We started off slow because I was asking for something very different than what I came in with. As I told Morgan what I did or didn't like or want, she would then cut it to match my requests. After leaving a message to make an appointment, my call was quickly returned with options of times and available staff. I decided to try and make my appointment online instead of calling back. Rachel is incredible at what she does. Every time Rachel does my hair I get so many compliments on the cut and color. She works magic on my grey, and not only right after I get my hair colored but weeks later (I'm pushing 7 weeks right ow) you still can't see the grey. I have known Rachel for 8 years now; she started doing my hair when we were neighbors and I can't find any one quite like her. In fact, since she moved south and I moved north I thought it would be wiser for me to find someone closer. Well needless to say I did find someone who was good but she just wasn't Rachel. She pays attention to the smallest details and I always leave there extremely pleased that she has cut my hair to perfection and has made me look as good as possible. I rarely go back to the same salon twice... I'm picky and have very high standards when it comes to my hair. I usually go to overpriced salons in Denver or Cherry Creak but hate paying $250 or more for mediocre highlights. I am now at Applauze Salon with my favorite stylist (Alex) getting full highlights for an amazing price. Alex is a magician! She clearly understands color and my hair looks stunning. STUNNING! I have red hair, thick, long, and corse. It's gorgeous but challenging. I am so grateful to have met Alex, and to have a fabulous salon so close to home. They are a wonderful family and team. Morgan is wonderful! I've been seeing her for a couple years and always receive exactly what I ask for. If I happen to change my mind about something down the road, she is more than happy to bring me back into the salon to make minor changes. I just had my hair cut and balayaged by Christine Sipe!! I absolutely love it!!! It looks amazing, and is exactly what I was looking for!!
