They did a fantastic job cutting and setting, and it was reasonably priced! We dropped off our rubies after mining them at Sheffield Mine in Franklin while we were vacationing in the Smoky Mountains. My boys each found a "honker" but they didn't want to part with them yet. Memories to last a lifetime! Now I have a sentimental, beautiful piece of jewelry to pass down one day.

Open every day during the summer and Emma teaches classes on Wednesdays through Saturdays. Very personable and pleasant shop. She is associated with the Sheffield mine (ruby and sapphire, un"salted"- one of the few natural mines in the area) and her husband will cut and set stones found in the mine for reasonable prices (we're going mining tomorrow!!!).

I wish I could give zero stars, that would be more appropriate. There was an overwhelming stench of…read moredog urine and feces when entering. We were able to power through that, then the fleas attacked. Not just one or two but hordes of vicious, angry fleas that covered our feet and legs (there was also one that made its way into my bra and gnawed on my left boob for a while). Overall it's a hard no from me, but potentially a great place to buy your mother-in-law a gift... if you don't like her very much.
