I posted a 3 star review about a month ago saying it fixed my issue but the screen didnt seem like an apple one and now my phone keeps crashing because it's a cheap screen used but i honestly dont trust the place enough to go back since they include apple in the stores name meaning they aren't authorized to get apple parts unless they take it from other devices ofc they could actually be doing that but i dont think they can do that for everything since they shouldn't have too many devices working perfectly for parts like screens read more

Unable to follow through with promises after more than a month. Also was at times quite rude.

I gave them my water damaged computer to fix and every day we called they stretched the date on when to retrieve it. They did this for a month, now they harvested my computer for parts, including my memory drive. He replaced them with some random broken ones. Truly a shitty store and wouldn't recommend. I really didn't want to have to give up my IPad for repairs but the charging port didn't work anymore. My issue was diagnosed in seconds, I dropped it off the same day and 4 days later I got it back, repaired. My screen had suffered some minor damage and that too was replaced, at a discounted price. This was my second visit to this store and the experience was even better than the first. The main man Haider is personable, professional, thorough and dependable. He rebuilt part of my 2011 MacbookPro 17 mother board to eliminate an issue with the screen going in and out. I also got 2 new SSD hard drives and all the data transferred. I was really surprised at the bill, and I questioned those guys as to why it was so little money... I know it sounds strange, but if I get great service and great equipment, I expect to pay a great price. Well in this case it was way below what I budgeted, and it turns out I was charged very little for the rebuilding of my motherboard, and I was told: "well sir we like to take care of our repeat clientele" Holy Molly. These guys are worth the drive! After accidentally getting wine spilled on my 2009 Macbook, I next day took it to Westworld, who told me there was nothing they could do about it. It was too old with parts that could not be replaced. Keep in mind this is without evening taking the panel off to look at it. We then ventured to an Apple store, where the lady there kindly told me the same thing, while mentioning buying a new Macbook to me. (not a financial option) After doing some google searches I came across these guys! I am so thankful I did! They are super friendly, super honest and super reliable! They were quick to respond, and assured me they could fix my Mac, so we hopped in the car and drove down. If we lived in Calgary it would have been ready next day, but they offered to ship it to me which was great. For $350.00 Haider fixed me up, saving my information, and giving new life to my Macbook! This Mac repair shop is not only great at fixing computers but also at providing great customer service. I bought from them two MagSafe power connector 6 months ago. Unfortunately, they both die. When I went to the shop, I thought I was going to get the usual "too bad for you" comment. Instead, they quickly verify the issue and provided me with the parts that were faulty. Absolutely amazing, top notch service! Recommended by a colleague at work after I mentioned my 17" 2011 MacBook Pro had a graphics card issue. After taking it to the Apple Store and being told it was unable to be fixed, I had thought it was now past its prime and needed to be replaced I took it in this morning and they were able to walk me through the issue, provide some other ways it could be rectified (including pros and cons) and what they offer to support. Excellent service & inexpensive repair in just over 3 hours! Came in and Haider explained all the possible issues that were going on, and the associated costs of each. He even opened up my computer in front of me to show me each part and that some things were fine and did not require repair. I had gone to an Apple Store the day before and was told that to replace the DVD drive would be at least $150, and to get the power button fixed would be another $250 because it is part of a larger part. I decided I would just leave the computer on/powered up and buy an external hard drive, but then my delete button stopped working so I HAD to get it fixed. He fixed these three things (keyboard, DVD, and ensured powered on/off) AND replaced another two parts for 1/2-3/4 of the price Apple quoted for the two issues! I had to leave town the next day, so he put a rush on it and fixed it that day! He also informed me of the potential upgrades I can make that will make my computer the same speed as the current version (which is 4 years newer, and at least another $1000 more than what I paid for mine, and depending on the size I want it will cost me 25-40% less than that, or in other words 10% of the total price of the base model - and I don't even like the new screens compared to my anti-reflective screen that allows me to work out in the sun!) Anyways, I obviously will be going back to him rather than get caught up in putting out more than $2000 every few years for a faster model! read more

I took my macbook pro to apple experts after a bad experience at another repair shop. they we able to fix the problem in a few hours as I was from out of town. A couple of months later the screen started to act up again. I took it back again to apple experts driving over an hour knowing they would not lead me a stray. They replaced the screen under warranty no questions asked. Would recommend them for sure and will be going back if there are any other issues with any of my apple products. read more

I made a 2 hour round trip to this store from Red deer because I heard good things. Upon going to the store I was told that I had to wait for other customers in front me for 20 minnuts, but luckily one of the employees agreed to inspect the device on the spot, which was great. They replaced my keyboars and trackpad. The follow days after I picked up though I started to notice a blemish of sorts in the center of the screen, which upon further inspection seemed to be a case of Stain Gate that i see online. It honestly seemed ridiculous to me that another defect of sorts had started to present itself after I had literally just got the device back in my hands a few days prior. The first representative that I spoke to on the phone explained that they wanted to charge $600!!!!!!!! I said why not do it for free since you just fixed this and it's your fault, they said no is not our fault and come in the store. Really impressed with the service and expertise when I bought my MacBook Air in for a new battery yesterday. They were priced a little bit better than other places that I called but it was the speed - 15 minutes instead of 2 days! And they explained more information about the battery and my laptop, why the version I had was a good one to hang on to. It was dusty when they opened up my Air and they suggested I clean my laptop every 2-3 years and why it matters. The staff at Apple Expert Mac Repair know what they are doing. Always pleasant and most helpful. They go above and beyond customer service. Where can you go where they open your Mac in front of you and explain things that you understand. When Haider gets very passion and excited he starts to use terms that I don't know but when I ask a question so that I will understand what he is trying to tell me. He has the patience of a saint. The second man whom I have met that looks like the place is cluttered but knows where everything is. He can multi task like none other that I have seen. Working on three different computers at the same time, talking to a customer on the phone, and working on a computer at the counter in front of another client. In a word AMAZING!!!! It is Haider's passion, and knowledge that has made this company so very successful. He embraces your computer like it is his own baby and knows how important to you. Treats everyone as a special friend. I believe that many times he has almost done the work at his cost to be able to help the person get their baby back in even better working order than when it was brought in. I had broken my MacBook screen and nedded a quick repair because I use it for school. The person repairing my computer went beyond what was needed and put in new screws for the bottom because I was eating an Orange an some of the juice went into the trackpad. The guy said I was lucky it didn't reach the motherboard. It was repaired in an hour and a half. I am very satisfied. read more

Absolutely terrible! These guys are a joke! I cannot believe how much these guys royally messed up my computer and then charged me an insane amount for their hack job. The only reason I needed to bring in my computer was for an upgrade in the hard drive and general maintenance check as I have had my Mac for several years and it was starting to slow down. I take very good care of my laptop and don't use it for much more than e-mails, word documents and movies. After having my Mac "fixed" I used my computer for less than a month, then it completely crashed. I went to have it looked at elsewhere, since something just didn't feel right about what was done at the Apple Experts. I was shown the cheap hack job they did and parts they used in comparison to what should have been done/used to properly fix my computer issues and what the cost should have been. I was shocked. On top of loosing all my information stored on the cheap hard drive they gave me, (thank goodness I had an old back up of my information to restore from) I had to get my computer completely re-fixed and still have to get a new hard drive because the one the Apple Experts gave me was absolute garbage and fried after I had used it for less than a month. They Apple Experts "fixed" my old hard drive by replacing it with a cheap, low-end part and then charged me 4x the price of what it was worth. They made it sound like I was getting a deal by how fast they got the job done and gracing me with a $140 "goodwill discount", but then off-set the "discount" by charging me $100 for a "data transfer" and $90 for an "enclosure" for the hard drive. I did not know any better since that was the first time in 6 years I have ever had to have my Mac looked at. The Apple Experts took complete advantage of me and I hope no one else relies on these guys for any sort of repair job. Do not trust your Apple products with the "Apple Experts", there is no expertise here, just a bunch a guys trying to make a quick buck. read more

I was returning to Calgary after my 8 day shift working up north and slid my Macbook Pro into my backpack. On getting home I pulled it out but I had made the mistake of forgetting that I'd put a banana in the pack when leaving home which somehow I had missed noticing was still there, albeit now in a fine ripe condition. All the USB and firewire ports and the power connector on the left edge were stuffed with mushy banana. I spent ages with paper towel and toothpicks removing the mush from the openings but the computer would not work. So I took it to the Apple store at Chinook who opened it and showed me the extent of the penetration of banana into the innards and quoted nearly $1,400 to replace all the affected items, which I declined. I have since then brought the laptop to Apple Expert and for $450 they replaced all kinds of miniscule components and the computer is working perfectly. I had dropped my 2011 MacBook pro on a table and cracked the screen. Apple support was being weird, refusing to even give me a ballpark price and saying it would take a week to fix. When I took my laptop into an Apple store a few days earlier just to tighten the hinges on the display (which I figured would be quick and easy as it wasn't a software issue or any damage, just regular wear and tear), they kept suggesting that I just get a new computer entirely. Uh no, I'm not gonna drop 2k+ for no reason when mine runs perfectly fine. ANYWAYS, the next day I dropped it and cracked the screen and didn't want to take it into Apple only to get told to buy a new one or pay a stupid price and be without a computer for a week. So I found this place and was honestly kind of nervous at first to take it to a third party repair place, but one day and $300 (reasonable price IMO, Apple forums said $700+ at Apple) later, I have a brand new screen. Haider told me my laptop is in great condition and I shouldn't get a new computer at all as long as mine works, and fixed it in a timely and professional manner. He suggested more things that could be done to it in the future but wasn't pushy at all, and I will definitely keep this place in mind in the future if I have problems or want to have it looked at.
