Highly Recommend this repair shop. My son's iPhone 6 Plus power button was malfunctioning rendering his iPhone useless. It's my wife's old phone and we spent $1,200+ new when it came out. The Apple store diagnosed the power button and said nothing more could be done. Apple Offered to change out the phone for $400 in store or would offer $45 towards new phone. I took it to YYC repairs as I drive by it often. The technician was very courteous, had seen the issue before and said they could repair it if I was willing to come back in an hour. An hour later my son's phone was fixed and is as good as new. YYC repair replaced the Power Button assembly (controls camera flash and mic as well) in under an hour for $75 and gives it a 30 Day warranty. Also I noticed the store had great deals on cases and screen protection vs other places I've been. With so many cell-repair stores competing in this space I can say YYC repairs is a store worth checking out if your device is in need of repair services and you are overwhelmed with all of the choices. I have quite an expensive handheld medical FDA certified "cold laser" gadget that after a couple of years started to have some issues with battery charging. I have visited a couple of shops asking for help but nobody was interested to help me. YYC repair was the next on my list of repair shops to visit and I was not really too optimistic about it. They fix phones, tablets and computers; no medical devices included. Since they mentioned that they are also fixing charging ports, I have decided to ask for their help. I was pleasantly surprised. They didn't told me to go away "we are phones, tablets and computers" store. They asked me, politely, to wait to give them chance to diagnose what could be wrong with my gadget and when a front desk guy came back he told me: "It's fixed." I had to get a few devices repaired recently, and this guy, Ben, was highly recommended by a friend. He was knowledgable, answered all my questions and gave a free diagnosis/estimate. One of my devices ended up needing more work than he thought, but he called me before he did it to get my approval, which I appreciated. He was very friendly, and the store was pretty nice too. I had dropped my ipad and the charging port got damaged so that I could not plug the charging cord into the port anymore. I took it in to YYC repairs to fix thinking it would cost $ and take many days to fix. The staff member who helped me took a close look at it and told me to wait a minute. He went into the back and came back out 2 minutes later and it was fixed! Didn't even charge me for the repair it was so straightforward for them. Great service. read more

Very honest technicians let me know almost immediately that my Epson 5040 Projector is prone to this malfunction and may require a new circuit board to fix the problem. Parts were not readily available and price for the circuit board was anticipated to be the price of a new projector. Even though they were unable to fix the projector I would defiantly consider using them for other electronics that may need repair. read more

These guys are legends, I accidentally damaged a couple motherboard traces while restoring an old Xbox 360. My iphone 7 charge port was damaged after getting caught in rain storm. I searched on line and tried some things to get it work without success. I was fully expecting to have to have a new charge port installed. The guy at YYC cleared the port with some tweezers and had it charging within a couple of minutes, no charge. Very nice folks, straightforward, and time for repair was accurate. My phone had water damage and I was so relieved to recover some important data!
