When I entered the guy at the front desk confirmed the time once I arrived that next day earlier than scheduled. Another patron arrived at the same time and was taken prior Apple askes what my services were again? Which I had to then wait 45 minutes later to be seen. What was the point of making an appointment? Deeply disappointed in the quality of the service provided, the time it took to complete my set, and the durability of my set. On 12/20/25 I went in for a full set and sat with Ashley i believe. Upon sitting i asked her to share if there were any types of art, application, or shaping she was unfamiliar or unskilled in. She said she was confident in her skill set so we proceeded with a BIAB medium length set with design. 12:35/1:00pm we began my set and by 4:30 it was complete. During said set I had to asked for reshaping due to uneven application, address a hole I saw in the BIAB, as well as change my design due to her execution and uneven French tip design. After having to alter my evening and her still being at work on the set we simplified the nail art and went with the two nails she designed successfully. However it had been 3 hours and counting and all I had to show for it were uneven nails, thick bumpy application, a poor paint job over my BIAB, and a missed reservation elsewhere due to the extended time. Even with sharing and showing all this the owner felt the artist and salon were entitled to 90 for the set and time spent. It's 12/25/25 and 4 of my and are lifting across both hands. I had to file the nails at home on my own to savage their appearance, and now the hole is bigger. I will be returning for the removal of my set and a refund but this has made my visit here my last ! read more

I don't recommend this business because they charged me for using a credit card for my service. I got a regular manicure which was $30 totally too expensive but ok that's what they charge but when I paid with a card they charged a $3.00 fee in addition. So I questioned it but they said we charge a service fee for the use of credit cards. I didn't want to get angry then but I think using a card is just one cost of doing business for merchants but what makes it worse now is I did some research on line as to what's legal and the law states they can't charge you any more than they pay and it's capped at 4% so if they pay 2.5% they can't charge you more and it's got to be clearly displayed on the fees and check in stating the fees which it was not... so it seems if my math is correct they over charged me too. Very sad because they seem like nice people the owners and the people who work there are as well but this is not right. I'll report it to all proper authorities as I was told to do but at best they will get a letter and maybe a fine if they did something that violates the law but I'm disappointed. read more

The attention to detail on the manis and pedis is amazing, my cuticles have never been so clean. And the relaxation unmatched. Always come out feeling like I've had the best pedicure of my life with the softest baby feet. A big selling point for me is that their nail polish colors come in regular & gel polish. Took a chance in a brand new salon, and they have just got a lifelong customer. I called to check availability of a same day appointment with just an hr until closing. My services kept the staff there for over an hr after close. Not a single time did I feel rushed. Tony the Nail Tech took such time and care to make sure that I was completely satisfied with my services. The establishment was clean and well designed, and so well ventilated! ( which is something you don't always find in salons) Apple ( love the name) did my pedicure and not only did she provide TOP NOTCH SERVICE, She also had great conversation! They have a great selection of colors and techs that can achieve whatever design you can think up or find on Pinterest. It's a family owned business and you can fee the love in the place. They didn't explain prior to starting that some smelling powder would cost an additional $10. Nothing was mentioned until when we went to pay. Very unprofessional staff. While in the salon Ivonne ( nail technician) gave me her number to send an inspo pic. After starting the nails I began expressing my dislike for the nail design she refused to adjust it I paid in full though I was unhappy with the quality of work. ( it looked like I gave my 2 year old did the work/ & there was clearly things stuck in the gel polish like hair) Called back 2 days later explaining 3 nails had already broken off, she denied setting an appointment to fix the nails was extremely difficult to work with and continues to text me very distasteful things. The owner, Apple doesn't realise that by NOT refunding (or even offering to refund!) my $10 for a mistake that HER staff made today, costed her 2 clients! Apple, the customer is ALWAYS right!!! Even an apology from you might have swayed me to go back. It wasn't really about the money - but you were totally dismissive when I tried to explain to you how your staff members didn't inform me that the boxes have different prices. As I said, I would have most likely have chosen the one I ended up choosing, but it would have been great if you acknowledged that they made a mistake and tried to make it right, instead of just staring at me. And one of your staff members was very rude to my friend (in Spanish, which my friend is fluent in!). It was also NOT my friend's fault that your staff members offered her a $10 box of foot spa treatment for a normal pedicure. My friend has never been to your salon, so she had no idea what to expect. They told her to chose a flavour, which she did. She kept telling them she's only having a normal pedicure. IN SPANISH - so there was NO confusion there!!! I went here based on the rave reviews but had a pretty poor experience. I went for a gel mani and it was the fastest manicure of my life - about 25 minutes from start to finish, including me checking in and choosing my polish. The nail tech shaped my nails poorly and didn't bother to confirm with me that I liked the shape. She used a new file and buff but the cuticle cutter wasn't autoclaved (just dipped in sanitizer - gross). The nail tech also didn't check that I liked the polish color/number of coats applied, and she applied the polish pretty sloppily as well. I also don't think she cured my nails for long enough under the UV light - they didn't look shiny the way gels normally do. Everything just felt super rushed. I went after work so I understand it was a busy time, but I had made an appointment and arrived on time, so I'd expect to get a full appointment's (1 hour) worth of work. Maybe she was having an off day or maybe it really depends on what tech you visit, but overall I would not recommend this salon. read more

Found out about this place from a friend. Fairly new, but what a great vibe inside. Safe, clean, friendly, and talented folks. It's miles from me, but I'm only going here for a manicure/pedicure from now on. Been twice. It truly appears to be designed and organized by someone who has been in the business for a while. Everything is in a place where you wished it was when you visited other nail salons. From the seating, the TVs in the ceiling, and the hooks on the table station you sit at to put your bag. Even making appointments is cool, cuz it reminds me on my phone and gives me options to reschedule and/or cancel. Everyone is very talented and very concerned about your well-being. The work they do is great and professionally well done. No aura of attitude among the workers, a glorious wall of nail polishes, and a cool flowered wall for the selfies after your session is done. Convenient to get to, and lots of parking. Second time I went, it was a scheduled Ladies Morning Among Bridesmaids with 3 friends. Went smoothly and fun for us all. Well, can you tell I like it there? Leaving, I felt like I really should do this more often & treat myself to a great 'Me Time'. So go! I wanted to like this place before but when you book an appointment with a certain nail tech, you don't actually get the nail tech you booked with when you go there in person. which can lead to some hit or miss experiences and if i'm paying a certain amount for my nails that's a risk i don't want to take it the nails will come out good or not. read more

My favorite salon in Bayonne/JC! My gel manicure is perfect, cuticles are nicely trimmed and the polish is painted evenly (typically not easy for white). The atmosphere is so cozy, the staff never rushed a service and the decor is beautiful. Apple is the owner and has the best personality. Make an appointment you won't regret it. read more

Have been here twice with my granddaughter who is 5 . I get a spa pedicure while she gets a mini mani pedi. We both start and finish at the same time. Highly recommend an appointment. I was a loyal customer of APPLE for about a year only because I moved in the neighborhood. I became a loyal customer and even referred my friends and family to get their nails done with her. However, after a few times of scheduling appointments I realized even with my set time I wouldn't get seen until 20 mins after my appointed time slot. Well let's just say this became a normal thing and when I asked the owner should I schedule at different times, her response was "well maybe you should come when your free or book with someone else" with an attitude. That response was very unprofessional. A simple I apologize I ran behind time, would have suffice. I was taken back by response as to I didn't mean to offend her. I proceeded to explained to her "it's nothing to get upset over I am just trying to find a common ground with you regarding my scheduled appointments" She again responded with "well I am not running the streets I am working and you can see someone else" it was apparent she would have fathered lose a valued customer than to admit her wrong. Rule # 1 IN running a businessApple ... "CUSTOMERS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT". And you never tell your customers to go somewhere else. Long story short .... 2 stars for Effort. And an F for F no I won't go back. For starters they never availability the last 5x I've stopped by. Today my sister and I went and it wasn't the experience. I opted for a Gel pedi and Nail refill. During my pedi the water was cold and it seemed the worker did not know what she was doing. They never put soap in the water. My feet were basically in a bowl of tap water with no pedi scrub. Quickest pedicure I every gotten. Next my nails, the tech clearly wasn't trained as she didn't even know what to use for my refill ‍. It just wasn't it ‍‍‍ long story short my nails were not filed and lumpy. Luckily enough the owner Apple fixed them. She clearly saw what was wrong and fixed it right away! HUGE DIFFERENCE!!! I have been a client of Apple Nail Salon since they opened essentially. I have had my nails done by an array of nail artists prior to becoming a steady client of Apple's specifically. I have long acrylic nails (sometimes gel) and I've always had great luck with any of the artists in the salon. I always, always get designs and each artist knows their limitations and executes on great sets regardless. I've been seeing Apple only for at least a year and I rarely have ever had to wait but understand that when she is running behind it's not because they are slow or inconsiderate but rather are providing the highest level of service to all clients before me. I've been the culprit of Apple running behind after needing a nail fixed or an unexpected new set. I don't mind waiting. The service industry is incredibly tough and people act downright entitled at times. Apple does exceptional nail designs and I wouldn't see anyone else if I could help it. I also always come in for a Deluxe Spa Pedi with Kim and it's phenomenal every single time. The best, most thoughtful pedis Ive ever had. The massage is top tier and she is the sweetest. I strongly recommend the CBD pedi products as well. I always need a nap after because I am so relaxed. I can't recommend Apple Nails enough and will remain a loyal client until I'm no longer living in the area. I love the whole family and think they work so so hard to be the nail salon of choice. Anthony has been my nail technician for over one year and I've never been upset with how my nails look. He takes the time he needs with me just to make sure that everything I want is up to perfection once I get out his chair. Anthony is truly one of the best nail technicians in that salon today so much so that I personally travel all the way from North Bergen New Jersey to Bayonne New Jersey just to get my nails done by him and my feet done by Abby. (Long read!) This place.. UGH ! I wanted to love it because the convenience of it being close to my house and it's new and cute But, NO ! Big NOOOO. I started coming here in June because my go to nail salon was far and started becoming a lot to make my appts on time.. so first time I got a new set with ombré, Cute no complaints. Second time I scheduled for ombré refill.. was everything but that ! It's what I scheduled for and sat down and told the lady when she asked if I picked my colors I said I'm doin ombré she did my nail told me wash my hands and asked me again what colors then I was told I can't do ombré because she filled my nails already.. Walked out PISSED... 3rd time was ok, But she hardly filled my nails I had to tell her to drag the acrylic down to make it even not just a lump on the top of nail. 4th cut my nails down so no problem . 5th !!!!! This lady took chunks out of my damn skin with the nail drill !! And cut my damn toes all up during my pedicure that at my next visit I wouldn't even do a pedi. 6th visit which is my last visit !!! I came for a refill, AGAIN they where hardly filling my nails which are longer so I said something, she didn't speak no English. She called apple to help her understand apple says that for a refill you only put acrylic on your top part of the nail not the rest, same thing they tried doing previously.. which means the top is thick and clumpy and th bottom thin and fragile. After going back and forth with her know it all nasty attitude I just was like whatever do it so I can get tf out of here. They where sooo lumpy and ugly ! I have new cuts on my fingers & Needless to say while doing laundry the VERY next day my nail broke RIGHT at the tip of the nail bed where it was not properly filled just like I told ms apple the nail tech it would . Complete waste of $55 fill. It's literally a new girl every time that can not do nails and is more then likely not certified and has minimal to no training ! I've gotten 1 good pedicure here . I've been doing my nails since I was 14 !! I'm 33 ! I've neverrrtr had these issues anywhere I've went ! Ever !!! read more

After two bad experiences I have to say this place, which I was so excited about, just needs to improve before I could recommend them. The first time I booked a spa pedicure, which is more expensive and which according to their website includes a Reflexology foot massage. I was disappointed to not get any foot massage at all. For my second visit I decided to book a regular pedicure and then ask for a foot massage. Well I didn't even get to have my appointment. I booked for 12 pm, got plenty of text messages confirming and reminding me to be on time and asking me to confirm. I show up and I am told there is a 15 minute wait. After all those messages you'd think they could call to let me know they're running late. I wouldn't have minded if they called. After 20+ minutes of waiting I had to leave, as I had meetings booked after my appointment. No one came to check on me to make sure the longer than expected wait was ok and no one apologized when I left. Like I said, I wanted to like this place. I love the online booking and because of that alone my bar was pretty low. I hope they will improve but I won't be going back for a long time. read more

I booked an appointment at a time they told me my preferred nail tech would be in and she didn't come in for almost an hour after the appointment time. In the meantime while I was waiting they asked the receptionist to remove my old gel. This girl had never used a nail drill before and put a hole in the middle of my nail bed. She is not licensed and did not know what she was doing but it was not her fault, THE OWNER TOLD HER TO DO IT. When my nail tech finally got in she was saying how she had been at Dunkin' Donuts. They chose the appointment time. They told me that was a time that she had available and would be in the salon. Weird. The gel started chipping after one day. Inconvenient that they are cash only. They said that they were having problems with chargebacks, I can see why. They do not use new nail files or clean drill bits between each client. I understand it is more expensive but it's against the health code and is literally the price of business in this field. Disgusting. read more
