I went to the Apple Store in Aventura Mall because my iPhone 15 was repeatedly turning on for only a few minutes and then restarting. It was also showing me a "plug into computer" logo when I tried to turn on the phone, which indicated that it needed the computer to turn on. I went to the Apple Store for help because I did not have my MacBook with me. When I arrived desperate to fix it, because I am on vacation with no access to my personal information without a phone, I plugged it into one of their display Macs to try to update it. The staff understandably questioned what I was doing and initially wouldn't help because I didn't have an appointment. I explained that I was traveling, had no access to my banking, flight info, or navigation apps, and needed immediate help if possible. I couldn't go a day in a city I don't live in without a phone. They then kindly took my phone to the back. I do appreciate them doing this, and trying to fit me in. But after waiting over an hour with no update, I finally asked them what the status was of my phone. I was told it was a logic board issue and that I would need to buy a new phone or pay hundreds in repairs. My phone, which had been turning on for short periods before, is now completely unusable and stuck in recovery mode after whatever the staff did to it in the back. Now it is not turning on at all. It never did this before it was handled by the staff Now my phone is completely unusable, stuck in recovery mode and not turning on at all, which it was not like that before. This left me stranded without access to critical apps and information while on vacation. I understand hardware issues can happen, but the lack of clear solutions or support and leaving me without a working phone was extremely frustrating and stressful. This experience was very disappointing, especially given the high cost and reliance on Apple devices. read more

I was specifically asking about whether the item was included as a complete set with the Beats Pro 3, but I did not receive a clear answer. Additionally, another associate began discussing financing options, even though I had already indicated that I planned to purchase the iPad outright. I was trying to get information about the iPad itself, but the conversation kept shifting back to financing. I have been a long-time Apple customer and have never experienced any issues bringing my service animal into your stores. On this visit, I was in excellent spirits and excited to purchase additional Apple products. My service dog was initially in his stroller, but when I took him out and placed him on the floor, a security guard approached me. He stated that my dog needed to be on a leash. I immediately complied and placed a leash on him. However, the same security guard then told me that the leash I was using was not a "proper" leash. When I asked for clarification about what constituted a "proper" leash, he could not provide an answer and instead continued to harass me. I asked him to please call a manager, as I was growing increasingly upset and uncomfortable. By the time the store manager arrived, I was visibly shaking from anger and anxiety. The manager stated that as long as my dog stayed by my side, there would be no problem. While I appreciated his attempt to de-escalate, his explanation referenced my dog's behavior -- not the "proper leash" policy the security guard had invoked. At this point, I am formally requesting clarification from Apple Corporate or Store Management on the following: What is Apple's official definition of a "proper" leash for service animals? Where is this policy documented (PDF, training manual, or corporate guideline)? What training materials are being used to educate store security or staff on service animal rights and customer interaction? I felt harassed, discriminated against, and humiliated in a public setting for simply complying with the law and Apple's own customer policies. I expect a clear written response and an explanation of the actions Apple will take to ensure this does not happen again -- to me or to any other customer with a service animal. So frustrating! I have an iPhone with no damage and less than a year old. It won't turn on. Drove 30 minutes to a store and they wanted to charge me $100 even though I have Apple care spoke to Apple on the phone last night. They said it shouldn't be a problem drove to the next closest Apple store in the next county now they're telling me they can't replace it but they can fix it. They can't fix it here if I drive back to the other county and drop it off there for two hours they should be able to fix it there. For a phone that's less than a year old and I have AppleCare on. This is a huge 2-story building occupying a nice large corner of the mall. Anyone parking on that side of the mall will notice this glass frontage store. I went in to do some research on some of the new generation iPhones and they had a large selection of them on a table, where I was able to compare my current model with many of the upgraded versions. The staff was really busy as this store is usually one of the most visited at the mall, but while I was there I noticed that all of the staff was very well trained, polite and very friendly with all customers. Most people here were shopping for Macs, iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, or accessories. But the store also offers Shopping by Appointment, online Order Pickup, Genius Bar Appointment, and Today at Apple Sessions....which are daily free workshops. As it was very busy in the store, the workers were very efficient in finding others who were more suitable to assist my problem. The bald man w/ a large d.brown beard was amazing with hearing me out ab my phone issues, easily helped me set up an appt for a following day and gave me a slight solution to hold me off until said appt. Another worker named Rod, was very sweet and funny, kept me and my friend company while charging our phones and tried his best with helping us alongside. And while having an appt certainly helps to speed up the process, I kind of feel like all Apple stores are busy and crowds are kind of unavoidable. Going to the Apple Store in Aventura can be challenging for somebody who dislikes chaotic traffic and being surrounded by lots of other humans. But there is something about it that's also kind of exciting to behold. Great people watching. Lots of activity. An obviously wildly successful product line. I went to the Apple Store twice in the past few months; once when I shattered my iPhone in a night time jogging mishap and more recently when my iPad screen got shattered by an curious and high strung standard poodle named August Ulysses Glade. The store is busy and could be improved with some simple signage directing clusters where to go for which types of services. (Where to go if you have an appointment, where to pick up a new product you ordered, where to go for repairs or replacement). But once you talk to a staff member, they stay focused on you and they know what they're doing. You just need to manage your own expectations and understand that it will be an experience. You can never get an appointment for days if not a week, the wait will be 2-4 hours if you walk in, the crowds are insane.... Yesterday!!! Oh 10 stars I got an appointment the next day at 3 pm. I waited maybe 10 min. They took me diagnosed my phone , which needed to be replaced. I have apple care so it was a quick swap, and out the door I went. * now if I I needed help resetting the phone and starting the download of my storage from iCloud.... I would have been there another 30+ min.... 2 hours even if I wanted to wait for all my storage to upload (but that is a personal choice. (Note: I am good with IT so I am able to do the restore at home and leave without a phone set up). Horrible experience at Apple store Aventura. I wanted to make an appointment in advance with my daughter, who is going to college. They only make appointments to sell you what they want, not what you need. At the store, first, you have to make a line and then be directed to a table where nobody was attending. After a while, somebody came and attended to more than one person simultaneously, which was rude and unprofessional. We waited FOUR, yes 4 hours to be seen for 10mins of nothing . It feels like a space where your time is just being taken away with no actual help. MOST IMPORTANT: If you plan on going to the Genius Bar plan ahead and try to schedule an appointment (most don't give that option) so plan to stop by Apple Store first, set your appointment, then walk around the mall. This is hands down one of the MOST BEAUTIFUL Apple stores I have ever seen!!!! The design is stunning. I swear I can just hang here all day and just be a bum. Ha. Apple stores are always so crazy and packed full of people. But you can sit on the stairs setting and just people watch or gaze out of the floor to ceiling window. It's perfection really. You walk in you see the trees, the slick glass mirror to make it seem like their is a crowd but don't feel crowded, high ceilings for loftiness, bleachers that give it a movie theater, museum aura and pristine perfectly stocked shelves and minimalist displays to disguise the over consumption and massive waste produced by this company. You stand in line and their is a buzz of energy like you are about to enter the World of Apple. You get the go ahead to enter be seated and wait for them to call you by your name, not a number, this is high level trained coordination. You have an appt to shop you are given all the specs but their job is easy cause you crave their products and you want to be fully aligned to the cloud across all devices: phone, tablet, watch, AirPods, etc... You have an appt for a repair? Went there to pick up my new iPhone. They even had my time scheduled between 7:45 PM and 8:00 PM. So I decided to go there early and got here around 7: 30. They told me that I had to stand in that long line and wait regardless of my appointment time. What's the point of scheduling an appointment if you still have to stand in line. Wow, one of the better Apple Stores I've been in around the world. The layout is stunning and the staff is friendlier plus more knowledgable than average. One drawback for this location is that it is in Aventura Mall. If you've never been to Aventura Mall, brace for gridlock on weekends and crowds inside. This will be especially true if during "high season" (i.e. winter) when all the tourists/snowbirds are here and Xmas shoppers abound. Even Uber-ing doesn't take care of the traffic problem, as the approaches to this megamall are limited and congested. That said, this store and the Manhattan CentralPark location are the most stunning architecture I've seen for ANY retail store. This one is all about welcoming the outdoors inside, and it actually feels like you're buying your expensive Apple cables in the middle of a park. There are even two-story live trees and stadium seating with leather pads. See pic and you get the idea. This is VERY swanky mall, so sit and people-watch the conspicuous consumption if you have extra time. Sometimes the staff at Apple stores can be either condescending or downright obnoxious. No one in this store seems to be at all attitudinal. On the contrary, multiple folks asked if they could help, always smiling and welcoming. The technical help and the needed cable were a god-send and I couldn't be more pleased. IMHO, this location is worth driving north also right past other, less helpful Apple Stores. read more

It's covid, nothing is normal. That being said, I think they do the best they can. Footnotes: the store is closed for shopping. You can go in the mall and upstairs, where they have a pick up and genius bar area, but you cannot enter the store. I had an online pickup, and had to make an appointment to pick it up. When you get there, you need to have your appointment paperwork, id, and order number with you. They have what looks like a bank teller window set up where you interact with the Apple employee after waiting in line. Even though I had an appointment, I stood in line for over 30 min. The lines were much longer than I would have expected for having an appointment. When I finally got to the window, the employee was helpful and efficient. As soon as he scanned my barcode, they brought my items up to the front. I was able to buy other things that I may have needed or ask any questions, but since I did not need any of this, I was in and out rather quickly once finally being served. The genius bar seems to be a very similar situation. Im sure this multilevel store is awesome pre-covid, but I have only experienced it in the new normal, and they are doing the best they can. read more

Like anything carrying the Apple brand, this store is in a great location in the mall, and has a nice multilevel layout. Massively tall floor-to-ceiling windows provide a great view to the outside of the mall, ample coliseum style seating in warm wooden tones allows shopper to take a break,wait, or even listen to larger seminars. I really enjoyed the efficient way in which the employees operated, and I was glad to be able to check in, pick up and leave, all within 10 minutes! Apple being the first and only company to reach the eluded $1 Trillion Market this last week shows you that this great company just gets it, and provides solutions for everyday needs. Their products all work together so fluidly and effortlessly, and their customer service has always been excellent. If you don't know, if you're an owner of an Apple product and have an issue with it, you can bring it into​ any store and there'll be someone there qualified​ to help diagnose the problem and get you on your way. If you need it asap, be sure to get there 30 minutes before they open and someone will come out and sign you up for the Genius Bar when they open. PRO TIP: Be sure to always get the Apple Care as this covers the issue and you'll save in your wallet in the long run. My 15" MacBook Pro started making a noise on the​ left side where there's 1 of 2 fans, so I took it in early (9:30am) to sign in and by 10am when the store opened up, I was seen by Jacob at the Genius Bar. I had a hardware issue with the fan and also a software issue with my background picture changing but itself; he immediately​ fixed the software issue with a small tweak, and then took my laptop to the back to remove the bottom half to blow away some dust buildup that was present. He also ordered a new fan for me in case it needed to be changed out, so of course, with just days before my Apple Care was about to run out, I decided to leave it there for 48 hours for them to do a complete​ stress test as well as look into every area that there may be a problem in the making. There is no other manufacturer​ that I know of that will do this for you...that will help you address​ a problem you may have and then basically​ fix it for you for free! Just make sure it's not water damaged, or that it's still close or within the proper time of purchase. Always get the Apple Care and you'll have nothing to worry about. I mean...is there a Samsung Store, Windows Store or any other major company that can do this for you if you've got an issue with your product? You'd have to drop it off to Best Buy or send it out and then you're without your phone or product for all that time. If you can't make it in the morning at an Apple Store, go online and make an appointment for a later time but just remember it may not happen for days. Jacob went above and beyond in assisting me with my laptop, showing me what was the possible cause of the problems and then took care of them; he exemplified total professionalism and extraordinary customer service skills, and for that, it's just another great reason to own Apple products. I had an airpad where the screen was separating at the top. Figured I had to get the screen replaced and it would be an expensive repair. The ipad was two years old and out of warranty. To my complete astonishment and happiness, Apple replaced the ipad with the same make/and model as I originally bought at no cost! Nicki (the wonderful Genius Bar rep) was awesome and quickly resolved the issue. I am still in shock that Apple was kind enough to replace it at no cost. Thank you again Nicki and to Apple as well. Super nice upgrade to the store and I love the stadium seating but all of that doesn't mean anything when the service is all over the place. I had a few scratches on my phone so I wanted to fix the screen. I checked in, the wait was approx. 40-50mns but within 15 mins I got an text message saying they were ready for me. Went back to the store as instructed, checked in and a few mins after, I got another text saying I hadn't checked in and they would be moving on to someone else. Went to another rep who then said ok I'll add you back on, totally dismissing the fact that I had already checked in. This went on for another half hour of inaccurate and confusing text messages. The 4th representative I encountered put me as a priority and then it was another 15 min wait. I know a visit to the Apple store is always a mission but the system in which people are being serviced at the Genius "Mangrove" is way too hectic at this new location. read more

So this new Apple store is pretty amazing. What really wowed me was when I walked, I got message that welcomed me to the store. I mean it was kind of creepy and pretty dope at the same time. Since we entered on the second floor, I initially thought that that was the extent of the store. I didn't realize that there was more until the customer representative walked us downstairs to view another product. And surprisingly enough it was not super packed as I remembered the last store to be. Granted it was a good amount of people there but I think because of the space, it didn't seem as much. I love that they have an outside patio area for customers to go out and sit and have lunch. Throughout the week, they also have classes about various devices they have to teach people how to use them. And with the ton of staff they seem to have on hand, no one should never have to wait more than 30 seconds. Even though the other customers service representatives saw that we were being attended to, they still spoke to us as we spoke by. The location of this store is also a plus! Whenever I hear Aventura mall, I instantly cringe but because of the new garage and the location of this store is easily accessible. You do not even need to go into the mall. He then had the audacity to say im going to get you another specialist as i dont feel comfortable with you. Listen champ all u had to do was bring the phone i ordered. Your personal Issues should be left at home. I often wonder what evaluation HR does before hiring. Also is HR aware that employees speak to customers with black sunglasses at 8pm at night. To cut a long story short employee with the name Josh wearing black sunglasses customer service was herendous . Had been offered a replacement by Apple Support but store Genius Bar was very unaccommodating, insisting I should wait for a repair because phone was outside the 2 week return window. Was unable to wait due to elderly mother and left with phone that cannot make cellular connection. Have to repair when I return to NYC next week. I went to pick up my iPhone 14 pro and I had a really great experience. Customer service was fantastic and although the store was full, employees made it very easy to navigate since they had the store well organized. Emanuel helped me and he was great. He built rapport with me and kept me updated on the status of arrival on my order. He gladly answered all of my questions and informed me on several things about the product. I went this weekend to this Apple Store in Aventura Mall due to the close proximity to my home I went early on Sunday morning and it was already packed. Customer service was very prompt to help and within few seconds from entering the store we were helped and I scheduled an appointment to fix my phone. I came back to the store exactly an hour later, and the technician did everything necessary to fix the issue my Iphone XS Max was presenting. First, they fixed a software glitch with a new update and then they replaced the screen which was not working properly. Customer service was great in all steps of the process and for the first time in many years of owning many apple products, I really enjoyed the apple store experience. read more
