I purchased an electric bike from this store my second attempt, since the first one arrived defective and I had to go through the whole return process. This time I decided to pick it up in-store specifically because I wanted to test it before taking it home, after all the trouble of assembling a defective unit by myself. The box was larger than me. I weigh 125 lbs. I simply asked for a little help opening the box so I could check the bike before leaving. Not assembly. Not installation. Just opening a box. The store was not busy. Multiple associates were available. Every single one refused, citing store policy. No one offered any alternative. No goodwill, no common sense, nothing. This is consistent with every experience I've had at this location. The staff is consistently unhelpful and indifferent. I will not be coming back, and I would not recommend this store to anyone. read more

I wish I can report a more positive review. I shopped early in December in order to beat the last minute holiday rush. Something I was aiming for the first time, lol. The several people who assigned me, unfortunately were not interested in providing adequate service. They were more intrigued in wrapping up as soon as they could. Not paying attention or listening. I was shopping for a iwatch. I specifically asked for size and cellular capabilities. The lack of attention to detail caused me to receive the wrong item. And this was not noticed from my part to take notice the day of Christmas and further more the day I was planning on getting it set up at At&T. I had no choice but to attempt to return the item (after it had been opened). Luckily I was not wishing for a return but instead an exchange past the return policy date range - for a bigger band size and GPS+Cellular service capabilities.The young lady who helped me in customer service deserves an A++++!! 5 stars do go out to her. This Best Buy location is our go-to store for buying appliances, computers, and TVs. They have a wide selection of everything, which we appreciate since it is a long drive here from home. This particular visit was a couple of months ago, when we were looking for a new TV for my apartment. I wanted the Sony Bravia 55" and they had it on sale and in stock. They also deliver. This was a win-win for me. I also use their Geek Squad to fix my desk computer if need be. They are very helpful and quick in diagnosing and repairing. I do not recommend this place if you're looking for kind or professional assistance. This is a general service center with little regard for customer service. I recently brought my laptop in for a software installation, and the experience with Geek Squad was awful. The person who greeted me--Luis (LC), a young man--was extremely rude and dismissive. He avoided eye contact, acted like he owned the place, and showed a total lack of professionalism. At one point, he was kicking bubble wrap around the floor, completely ignoring me as a customer standing right there. He was also singing and expressing himself inappropriately, with no concern for how his behavior affected others. It's disappointing to see how much the service has declined. Years ago, this location offered amazing support. Now, it feels like customer care is an afterthought. I finally get to the computer department and I had to make a line to ask a question. It took me over 20 minutes to get any type of service. Two employees were working Malik and a lady. They both need to work on better customer service. It was bad. Malik was taking people not in line and getting us upset. The other employee was helping a customer window shop for computers and sharing personal stories as the line grew. Both employees avoided eye contact with the people in line. Two other people also walked up, expecting a 10am opening time. I walked over to Target, which was open but didn't carry smart card readers in their electronics department. I walked back to Best Buy and while waiting saw at least another dozen people go to the door and leave after seeing closed. On a whim, while waiting for Best Buy to open I checked Amazon. Located in Aventura, North Miami Beach. The store is clean and well organized. The staff is friendly and everything looks tidy. If you chose to order online the site works well, they offer same day pick up and the lines are fast but if you need to buy any product inside be aware the waiting time can be long. A lot of lines and no one available for questions, it was hard to find an associate working except for the ones assign in each section. (Lines and more lines) I went to pick up some items and I also bought a screen protector. I asked the associate if he could assist me by installing the screen protector on my phone, but he explained me that there was a charge $8, I was surprised and disappointed. Not good is a understatement. lol Brutal customer service in so many ways. They say they have items in stock that they don't . Tell you to order it online, which is even worse, as delivery is a joke. Roadie, BestBuy's delivery company for my IPhone case called me at 2:39 am on Feb 25, 2025 and woke up my entire household, as they were returning my call from earlier in the day. The delivery driver for my dishwasher missed a 6 hour delivery window from 9am to 3pm and then called at 2:51 pm to say he would be late, as if I didn't know that already. He said he would be another 40 minutes, which who knows, as that is pretty far away to estimate. Also if he was still 40 minutes away, wouldn't. he have known he was going to be late a lot earlier than 2:51 pm when he called and then when I could not guarantee that my condo's building elevator would still be available, booked from 9-3 as per Bestbuy's request, what if he shows up at 4pm, what if someone is moving in or out, or is using the elevator.....he decided to cancel my delivery and tell bestbuy that I wanted to return my order. Bestbuy offered no compensation, but offered to try and deliver it on another day as a solution and apology. What? I should take another day off work, rebook the elevator, wait another 6 hours with no guarantee of delivery, and rebook the installation, all because of Bestbuy's incompetence and all at my expense? Again, what? Good luck dealing with Bestbuy customer service, very patronizing and apologetic, but totally useless. I have had nothing but problems from the simplest IPhone 16 Pro Max otterbox case to an expensive Bosch 800 dishwasher. Nobody cares. System is broken. Funny how Yelp vs Google has 150 Reviews on Yelp and almost 9,116 Reviews on Google. By the way, per Legal Action Against False Reviews If you buy reviews, you put your company at risk of legal action. Specifically, the FTC has specific guidance for collecting online reviews and it has said that buying reviews violates its policies. Just for someone @ Best Buy to know, you are putting this location at risk with buying fake reviews for foot traffic as if your customer service is anything above the norm. Gladly, the store manager noticed me waiting for almost 30+ Minutes in the same area to actually do something. Imagine getting put to the front of the stores to greet people and you're on your phone. No offense, you should be looking at your socials when you're on break or at home, you're not special. There is a reason why you get paid a cap of 15-17$ an hour because you have 0 skills. And you're placed in the front to GREET customers. It's as basic as it gets. There is fake reviews with 5 Stars with a completely different picture of a restaurant however it still claims to be 5 stars for Best Buy, so it is boosting your review count (Illegal) I wonder how much and how many daily are these reviews coming and being reviewed. Stay away from the BEST BUY Location. I just recently purchased a Bissell mulit-cleaner and it only worked once, second time I tried to turn it on and it would not power on. I contacted phone support that made an appointment for geek squad. After waiting a long time for a member to attend me he looked up the purchase and said it was over 15 days so there was nothing they could do about it and suggested I purchase a Shark product. No refund, no replacement, didn't even take a look at it to see if it could be fixed. A $300 plus waste of money and Best Buy could care less, they said next time to purchase a warranty but I told them I expect new products to work, it still was in the original box with the tags and stickers. I've had a lot of poor customer service there both in appliances and other departments. There are about half very good associates and half very bad ones at this store. Normally when you need assistance you have to get on a list at the entrance but today there was no one there or appeared like anyone was ever there so I walked in and asked a random employee who said stereo components are "that way" which wasn't good enough for me. I said I want to speak with someone and he said "that's not his department" in a slightly arrogant tone. He said I have to be on a list, not being very receptive. Ultimately he put me on a list and gave me a name of an associate in stereos. I found him myself and he was very helpful. When our interaction was half finished I couid hear someone calling out my name. The associate told them he was taking care of me. So just not a very smooth process. I spent over $800 so they never know who they are dealing with -- they may and often do treat a perspective good customer with a poor unhelpful attitude. read more

Best Buy is really the only place to pick up your tech pieces, unless you go to Apple for specific items, or even to your personal phone carrier to get your phone. What I love most about Best Buy is that they do carry everything you're looking for, but better yet, they'll do a price match off Amazon! Just go to check out and show the cashier the item you're buying off your Amazon app and they'll find the lowest price and override it so you can NOT only get points under your BB account, you'll get the best price without needing to deal with shipping etc. The price match needs to be from a reputable seller and not from a unknown retail place. Service has always been stellar for me here without issue, and really, where else are you going to go? Exactly. Next you go on line best price was Best Buy for a Sony DVD player. I quickly order and put in for drive up pickup. What's not to love! Funny thing when I arrived there was a line outside the store? Why wait on lines! This is heavenly order online as well as pay drive up and park in one of the designated spots go to your text and let them know you are here. Within minutes they deliver to your car without you ever having to get out. Talk about feeling like a princess. This is star treatment you show your id ie drivers license so they know it is you and your off. This has to be the silver lining of this pandemic. I could continue curbside pickup forever. The Aventura store was a complete disappointment today. Purchased a MetaQuest 3 for $534.99, 17 days later, the headset does not have WiFi connectivity, pixelated picture, and they cannot test it, cannot exchange it, can only ask me to purchase a membership for 190.00 more, so I can exchange. They are not interested in customer service, they want to upsell their membership., this is not right, I should have had the option at purchase to buy a warranty or even that membership, but not offered by their team., now I have a faulty device, I use it for work., I am not spending another 190.00 on it., I did have a medical procedure which took me out for 3 days, but they don't care., they are interested in upselling their membership and not into al customer service has r long term customers., they even asked me for different phone numbers, to see how f I had a history of past purchases, not right. I am very disappointed and frustrated that and of the lack of customer service and empathy with their clients. Today was the worse experience I have had at Best Buy. So much I am thinking on not purchasing at this particular store ever again...if not BEST BUY. I went to Magnolia for a set of Def. Tech. Speakers that were discontinued. I arrived tried them and wanted to take them home with me and the manager, Amado and his troll employee, who mentioned by the way that had he was jealous, had he known the speakers were so inexpensive, he would have purchase them himself...that they could only sell these as NEW....when they were open box. All the stores online had the speakers for sub $180. The manager and his troll would only go as low as $300.00. I imagine one of these people purchased them and took them home. Such lack of professionalism!. I had a lovely gentleman before name Marcus, who always took care of me...how I missed him today. I can't believe you can't hire someone in BEST BUY, who would treat their clients who have spent a lot of money at your store with a little respect. This Best Buy is very hard to get into. The parking lot is always a mess littered with their shopping carts. I have to park very far away because I do not want my car to get dinged. I walk in and the line is out the door because security is checking people's packages. I suppose they had items to return. I did not have one so I proceeded to enter the store when I was reprimanded and told to wait behind the other people. This was ridiculous since I had no packages. The whole point of the trip was to purchase a wireless mouse because my current one decided to stop working even after changing the battery. I found what I wanted but had a quick question. The employees were all helping customers or on the phone. Or they work in a different department and would not even listen to my question. I decided to just go up front and pay. The line was very long. There were only two cashiers and probably 11 people in line. The mouse works fine however I see the same mouse at Target advertised for half the price.
