Overall I was very happy with the service and my laptop is back to normal after a week! The computer had 2 issues: the backlight was out on my laptop and my Mac had a virus on it. I heard good things about Apple Pie. So, after going in there was a short wait of maybe 10 minutes. The guy who helped me (wish I had gotten his name) was very nice and funny. He explained everything that was wrong and listed out the steps to fix the computer. He said even though my computer was 5 years old, I should still try a simple fix instead of spending the money on a new one (Macs should really last about 10 years or so). The screen was replaced in a timely manner and they downloaded anti-virus protection for me. Even though I spent about $600 on the new part, I was satisfied with the super friendly service. read more

Received the phone back today and it works perfectly. They shipped it 2-day priority and even threw in a pack of tempered glass screen protectors for free. Very impressed with their service. However, they included a notice that touch IC chips are basically a design flaw in the iPhone that Apple never corrected themselves due to the bendability of the 6/6+ models. The notice says that if the phone is "bent" in some way (even though my phone is not bent nor has it ever been), their service warranty is void. I've heard that thing about it being a flaw around elsewhere in my research but I do feel like this is a move to release themselves from the stated 3 month warranty, so I'm not entirely a fan of that. Hoping it won't come around to having to have it repaired a third time but I'll definitely attempt to force the warranty if it's within the stated timeframe, despite this new notice. read more

They were not able to fix my phone. They were very professional about it, so I would give them three stars, except that their website advertises that you don't pay if they can't fix your phone. When you come in with a wet phone, the first thing they want to do is a chemical clean, which is $45 whether or not it works. It may be different for other kinds of repair, but be aware that with a wet phone you are out $45 no matter what. read more

Took my old iphone 5s here due to it being stuck from a update years ago. Always wanted to get it working again but nobody could fix it until I brought it here. I'm having the same issue as Aloysius C. (below) - my phone's issues returned less than 3 weeks after Apple Pie's repair. They charged me $278.99 to fix my iPhone 6 Plus that had a flickering and unresponsive screen. I sent it in for IC chip repair and they wanted to replace the display, too - although I'm not sure why they needed to replace the display. Whatever they did didn't last. Chicago to Lafayette is 5 days shipping one way, Apple Pie won't offer better shipping in order to try the fix again and they will not issue a refund for the failed repair. They're forcing me to be without the phone for 11+ days in order to try the repair again. They're taking no responsibility and haven't told me what they'd do differently to fix the phone this time. I have an original Kindle Fire and even though I know I could just easily replace it with a new one pretty inexpensively...i didn't want to be just another person disposing of electronics and replacing with new ...so I took it in to a place in New Iberia called In and out Phone Repair. They told me it needed to be soldered and since they couldn't do that there they directed me to Apple Pie Repair in Lafayette. They replaced my screen on my iPhone 6, but the inside of the front facing camera was foggy. I left for college the next day so I emailed them to let them know I'd be getting it changed when I returned to town. No response to my email. Now my screen is starting to come apart from the rest of my phone and I've had this new screen for around 33 days now. I don't recommend them. They offer to lower the cost of service if you leave them a good review. read more

Buyer Beware! I don't understand how they have so many 5 star ratings. They repaired the motherboard on my daughter's IPhone on April 12 for $150.00. Every thing was fine for 2 1/2 months, then the screen just went blank. That was on June 20. We didn't get around to bringing the phone for a until July 25 because I honestly didn't think about it possibly being covered, so my daughter was saving up her money until she could afford to get it repaired again. They told my daughter that the mother board was under warranty, but the guy wouldn't be in until next week to fix it. Today is Aug 1 and when she called to check on her phone, they told her is wasn't repairable. Then they went on to tell her that it was 2 weeks out of warranty and the warranty was voided anyway because their seal on the inside was tampered with. I called them myself and they said that someone must have opened the phone and tampered with it. That's ridiculous, this is an IPhone 6S. You can't open it! Then she said we must have brought it somewhere else. Again, ridiculous. Why would we bring it somewhere else when my daughter was saving up the money to get it repaired again and we brought it back to them. Then she said it was out of warranty by two weeks because it is only under warranty for 3 months. I could show her my phone records that show the phone has not been used since June 20th, but it really doesn't matter because their website said the warranty on boards is 6 months. After getting her to get on their site because she kept telling me it doesn't say that, she finally saw where is it did say that. Then she said that it was only for Mac books. It didn't say that at all. It only said Apple. She said she would talk to her boss, but didn't think there was anything she could do. Do not go to this company! They do not honor their warranty. Oh, and by the way, an hour later when I logged into their site, they changed it to a 3 month warranty. read more
