Horrible! I came in to buy a couple of products and I was continuously told to order online and have it shipped to my house. I wanted to trade in an item on spot- not take my products home and wait for a kit. There is no personal interface. I saw many of the employees carrying on personal conversations and hugging people as they came in. I waited nearly an hour past my reservation time. I decided not to get my new phone. I wish I wouldn't have wasted the drive up here. Their employees say and do contradicting things. How come a military discount can not be honored after being verified by ID and online? The Apple Store is an amazing store with Nice Staff! If you are looking at a electronic and don't know what electronic it is or how to work it you can ask the nice Staff how and what the electronic is. If you break smash or Run over your electronic go to the Apple Store and they will fix it right up! My children Have had lots of problems with their phones but with the Apple Store they fixed the phones in 2 hours! Had an awesome experience today. I came in with a brand new $2400 laptop that would not turn on. Tim was calm, reassuring, and diligent in helping us resolve our issue. When he exhausted the options available to him in his position, he, without hesitation, involved his manager Charles who was equally kind and helpful. I am a Syracuse parent who was not only leaving my kid but had to resolve this issue before embarking on a 6-hour trip. I couldn't have asked for more. Came into the Apple Store to get service on my 2011 MacBook Pro. My computer prompted me to service battery and I was nearing the end of my Apple Care warranty, so I rushed in. I told Brian at the genius bar my issues, and went above and beyond to make sure my computer was completely taken care of and he even finished the service in a few hours since he knew I had to make a long drive out to Syracuse for the service. I love the Apple store. I have shopped here hundreds of times and often use the personal pick up feature which allows me to order online and pick the items up at the store within less than a hour. Wish I could give 0 stars. Made 3 separate appointments here because they kept "fixing" my phone and sending me home. The last time I went they wanted me to pay $320 to fix something in my phone that I had already been told was an issue with my specific model iPhone. I told them absolutely not, called apple customer service and was told that I was right, there's an issue with my phone and they will fix it for free. I'm not sure why the "manager" couldn't figure that out in the store when I tried to explain it all 3 times that I wasted my time going there after work. read more

If there was any other Apple Store in my vicinity I would be jogging there and I do not enjoy running what so ever. Been jerked around here for almost 2 hours while I am standing here with a credit card waiting to buy their product. If I wasn't already cued into apple I would honestly rather have a calculator as a phone because that would work faster than waiting in this store. Writing myself a sad theme song while I wait watching their animated dog commercial play on the devices over and over again. Do your business with them online! My daughter went to ask about her iphone. One employee approached her and asked about the small medical devise in her arm and wanted to know about her medical condition. Very out of line. Then another made a mean comment about her eyebrows. We contacted the Apple store by writing and nothing happened. Apparently this behavior is acceptable from the Apple employees at the Syracuse mall. There was no apologies nor nor professionalism. It would be really nice if the employees could be trained to just do their job and refrain from mocking their clients. read more

Since all my tech is Apple, I've been to a lot of Apple stores and their Genius Bar. Most are able to help. So imagine my surprise to learn that this particular store didn't have a single tech to work on MacBooks. Not one. Frustrating. read more

Drove 1 hour after a full day's of work to get to the store. We got the last appointment of the day, 7:30PM. After 20 minute wait, the guy tells us that the phone was not only out of warranty (they gave us this phone in July, 2015 after the first phone's battery was dangerously swollen!) but that the internal component was faulty. Very nonchalantly tells us that for $260 or so he could replace our 9 month old phone! Disheartened, we left the store and just happened to stop at the cell repair kiosk just outside the Genius Bar and the guy opened the phone up and fixed it in less than 10 minutes. We paid nothing. He was surprised that the Apple folks were not able to see what was going on, which apparently was something simple. In short, we returned home with a functioning phone and all of our daughter's pictures intact and most importantly, did not give the Apple folks any more of our money. Moral of the story, do not take their word for granted! read more

I gave two stars because the technicians at this store were unable to fix any of the problems I was having with my iPhone 6. I even had (what I thought was a simple issue) of transferring my iTunes music. The in-store tech didn't know how to do it, but he did suggest a solution that "may work." The in-store techs had me call and speak to a remote technician about my phone's issues. Unfortunately, the efforts were partially successful because the technician was trying to diagnose my problems via phone call. I have lived in other states, and the Apple technicians in the store ALWAYS knew how to fix/repair issues. Maybe I'll attempt another trip to this particular store and hopefully get a different technician who can successfully assist me. I do appreciate, however, the employees' friendliness and professionalism. read more

I had gotten a brand new I phone 7 plus not even two months ago and were having issues with it. I brought it to the Syracuse NY destiny USA store and they told me my phone needed to be replaced of course. I'm not to savvy with iCloud much but of course I was at the Genius Bar so of course I trusted them. I was told that as long as I purchased more I cloud that all my stuff would be saved. I was concerned with my photos and videos mostly. I had just graduated nursing school..so all of my pinning ceremony and graduation ceremony photos and videos were on there. Not only that my daughter just had the two biggest state and regional gymnastics competitions of her life as well as my 5 year olds kindergarten graduation photos and videos are now all gone! So the guy at the Genius Bar "jermey" I believe is his name. Told me that when I got home to set up my phone because I needed to be connected to wifi. I had an hour drive home so I was not able to do it write away. I assumed everything was "backed" up because I had to wait 20 min before he could reset my old Phone And give me a new one. This jermey guy told me that my phone would be a carbon copy ones I got home and set it up. Out of all the pictures on my phone the last two months of my life have been some of the most important milestones of my life and this Apple Store ruined me ever having those. I am so disappointed. Do not ever trust this store. I suggest go to the other Apple Store near by in Victor. Everyone I have talked to told me this Store is crap and they are never satisfied. When I tell you I cried last nite... I really did! All thanks to this Apple Store in destiny USA. I hate you guys! I hope Jeremy gets fired. (Heavier set guy, wears baseball caps to work) read more

I was impressed at how attentive and dedicated the staff were. I had three different people helping me with different issues. Everything was resolved except my phone, which was the most important issue. I would like to give more stars, but I drove 3hrs round trip for help, and all they did was reset settings (which had already been done by me), and they asserted I would not have any more problems, but I did as soon as I got home. Later, I spent three hours being passed around on the phone at Apple help, the technician wanted to "run a diagnostics" before he would replace my phone. I was livid by then and insisted he just replace the dang phone. He agreed and told me it would be sent out right away and would arrive within two business days. Now, 9 business days later, no phone, supposed to come in two business days. Lesson learned: don't buy a phone on Amazon from a second dealer, and ask Apple to run diagnostics at the beginning, not later. read more
