This includes grandma, who can't use her phone--yet somehow the conversation continues as though she's teaching a classroom of students how to land a spaceship. Meanwhile, there are **20 other employees** standing around on the floor... doing absolutely nothing helpful. Every once in a while, one will glance over and nod as if to say, "Yes, we are watching the slow-motion train wreck of customer support." But no one steps in. No one helps. No one moves the line along. The store simply runs on the power of **that one genius** trying to single-handedly solve the world's problems. Next: the repairs. Repairs were running **way late**, and the excuse was basically: "We have a lot of walk-ins." Okay, sure--walk-ins happen. i went on Tuesday to Apple store, my appointment was at 7:20 pm. i arrived at 6:40 pm. my turn was until 7:40 pm and the person who took care of me said they could fix my phone because they close at 8pm. i left my phone and told them to fix the back of the phone and that my phone was not charging correctly. next day i went to pick up my phone because they call me was ready. they "fix it". guess what, my phone still has the same problem that doesn't charge. I made another appt. for this Saturday at 6 pm and i expect them to help me, because this is not acceptable. i live at Palm City Florida, which is 40 minutes of distance. Apple, please re-train the staff at the Gardens Mall in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. A simple battery replacement was stated as needing 90 minutes and yet it took so much longer -- the staff here is a mix of uninterested, unwilling and just not professional with handling customers. The queue for getting Genius Bar support seems lacking as even after being checked in, the wait time is unreasonably long. The experience here doesn't match to the level of quality of the Apple brand -- I wish I had waited til being back in NYC to handle as the Genius Bar there actually makes me want to keep coming back. read more

These guys always impress me. When I think I know everything about devices, they prove me wrong. This team was excellent in uncovering that another Ifix iphones company was harvesting our parts when we went into them for a repair. The apple attendant at the genius bar specifically stated that that worker had replaced our camera assembly and our entire screen with a 3rd party lower quality screen for a simple glass lense repair. I will be calling out that location in another post. They gave us specific diagnostic examples where that other business harvested our iphone for parts. Anyway, they did help me greatly that day as well with an estimate for my macbook pro and re had to replace the entire phone bc of that other places criminal mistakes. My dad came here for help and he has limited hearing. He had me on the phone to clarify what they were saying, associate Alex refused to speak with me at all and went to get a manager, and manager Cory also refused even with our explanation until my dad just proceeded to put me on speakerphone. Both were very rude angry and hostile, and we're still not sure why. They also proceeded to give some very concerning misleading information which leaves me the impression they do this often to some of the more elderly customers. Really just very rude, unkind, impatient people. They should be trained better than to show impatience with someone in their 70's wearing visible hearing aids. We limit our interactions with this store and instead shop over the support line often. We use only Apple products, tv watch laptop desktop phones HomePods iPads Apple pencils AirPods. It's a shame this store isn't a better resource and that they don't seem to take pride in the work they do. read more

Had defective beats ear buds, received less than 6 months ago that suddenly made a loud screeching noise when I tried to use them. I brought into the store hoping to get a replacement. I encouraged them to take a look into the product to check for any damage that would be as I believed it was defective. Ebony explained to me that 'she didn't like these headphones and she's seen a lot of issues with them but my limited warranty was expired' only to say my only option was to pay $150 to have them repaired and suggested I just buy new ones. Next, she called a "manager" Krissy over who would only respond to my scenario only with "you can pay $150 to have them replaced", she did not suggest any other options or seem to care at all that the product was not working for no reason. After leaving the store I called Apple Support who recognized the issue and shipped me new earbuds in less than 10 minutes. Complete waste of time going into this store might as well buy your products online and if you have issues go anywhere else or call support. The culture at this store seems to be one centered around carelessness unless you want to buy something. It's worth noting, December 2024 I had the exact same issue with these headphones and brought them into the Galleria Mall in Broward where I received great service, they immediately understood the scenario and provided me with brand new headphones. read more

I had an appointment scheduled; however, the store didn't have its usual extended line wrapping outside and around the perimeter. I arrived a few minutes early and was greeted by Grace. She checked me in and instructed me to wait in the rear of store where the cubes are being the tables were crowded. It wasn't too long of a wait before Scotty located me who was my technician... or shall I refer to him as genius. Literally, he was able to remedy my issue in less than two minutes. It's something the Apple support folks most likely could've done over the telephone too. No biggie, it's fixed. This is a newer development from when I lived here 7 years ago and I love what they did with the space. As an apple user, finding convenient locations are always great when you need help with a specific service or tech fixes. I didn't use the genius bar, as I was simply checking out this location, but I can tell by their set up it Flows well. It's crowded like any other location, but their flow works! There is an area to sit, an area where they have teachings (idk how the sound works) as its a lot of commotion behind the "class area", but that can be an update I do over time. The Apple Store at the Gardens Mall is worth stopping in to experience, even if you don't own any Apple products. Just approaching the store, I was drawn to the stunning design of the store's entryway: giant floor to ceiling glass window doors stand open to completely 'remove' the wall facing the mall. Inside, the eye is drawn to the giant screen adorning the far back wall. A seating area perches at the foot of this mega screen, which creates the semi-illusion of a living room. It took me a second to realize that there is no 'help' or 'service' desk area. In fact, the rest of the store is made up of uniform tall tables where service folks- in red shirts- mingle effortlessly with all of the customers. This concept is pretty cool. It definitely worked well when I arrived early in the morning and was immediately approached by a helpful young man. Returning an hour and a half later, however, when the store was more crowded, this system failed when there was no organized way to receive aid. I tried to directly address employees and engage their attention, with little avail. Every tabletop has Apple products locked to it via a wire. I had fun trying out their different products. One employee told me that my son could play with a tablet there as long as I wanted. Luckily, he didn't hear her say that! Apple is incredibly dominating the consumer market. Apple demonstrates the company's exceptionality and versatility to their customers like no other competing products. Their products are addicting and easily communicate with each other. One of the reasons why their products remained valued and desired by most consumers. On the other hand, not everyone is able or eager to pay their prices. Apple stores are places that inspire customers to discover what Apple products can do for them, rather than merely having product stock available for glancing. It is a brilliant way to sell more products. Their service personnel are also friendly and well educated on all the products Apple provides. Although everyone in our family are Apple lovers, I continue to go my own direction. Avoiding the addiction has been difficult on me, but I am remaining with their competitor product as a user. I'm being generous and leaving two stars for Tammy and the young man who helped us first. Nice people and good customer service although they could have used a bit more help....And some of the stars lost have to do with the fact that if you use your Apple credit card there, and buy multiple items, it triggers a fraud alert. One would think that this happens a lot, except no one at the store had a clue that this is what was going on? All told it was well over an hour to straighten that part of the issue out. Then there were some challenges getting my husbands phone erased...but the kicker that's putting me over the edge at this time was that they were out of screen protectors. We were told to get them at the Verizon store. So my handicapped husband went while I had to sort thru the Apple Card mess. They put his protector on for him at Verizon. He brought mine down to me. When he asked the Apple people to help us put it on after dropping a chunk on 2iphones and a new lap top, they told us - oh we can emotionally support you doing it but can't do it for you, when I saw the other gentleman do it for another woman at the end of the table. I also sat there and waited for. Kayla to complete my transactions, which shouldn't have taken more than a few clicks, but she kept running back to two other women setting up a new phone and new computer with questions, which set me back another 15-20 at least. When I go into a store and spend almost $3000 on a MacBook Pro, I expect top notch service. Everyone in the store was super nice except the lady who sold me my laptop. She was disinterested, sent me to look at the laptops alone, and rushed me out of the store. I went to replace my top case for my keyboard. They are like a bad car mechanic. They will have you pay for shipping to get it fixed elsewhere, then quote you on cosmetics and say if you don't fix this too, then we can't do the whole job. I will never buy a Mac again not with these types of policies trying to force customers to upsell to a new product. That's horrible. I did get it fixed with someone else who certified and that's all I needed. That is so bad. After having my new set of airpods shipped to this location when picking it up I didn't notice that both the seals were opened and after leaving and checking when arriving back home which is 100 of miles away I noticed that they were tampering with my AirPods. Now I'll be calling in the morning and hopefully I can get it resolved. Check your packages before leaving because they clearly are tampering with your items. So you do everything that Apple tells you to do. You have the confirmation code, you have your ID so you can quickly pick up your new computer ( which you didn't want to buy but we're forced to since the software upgrade pushed to your perfectly good computer has crashed it three times and made the disk unrecoverable) and there is no "greeter" in sight to get your computer- staff are rude and tell you have to see the " greeter" who isn't there, and then you have to wait another 5 minutes for a bag? Ok, first of all, you have to spend lots of time just to get someone on the phone, just because you have to go through incredibly dumb automated system, that wants to redirect you to the apple support no matter what.. Second- looks like apple is going sideways with its customer care policy. They hired tons of teens, that have no idea what are they doing and why, so it is a big mess. Its pretty noisy inside due to all the customers, plus, they are playing the music... not enough ? On top of that they doing live class sessions using projector which no one is watching ... you just cant hear your advisor... I use apple products since they made their first iPod... getting their new models pretty much every year.. but they just keep pushing me toward another brand. Horrible. As an Apple lover it's hard to leave this review. The store was in shambles. There was a man giving instructions of how to work the Apple Watch in a user tutorial blasting over the speakers of the store that no one was there for. We found the iPad my husband wanted to look at and price. We made our way to the people towards the front of the store to log us in to purchase one. The nice young man said we only had one person in front of us and if we could hang out by the iPads we'll be taken care of soon. Meanwhile there was PLENTY of Apple employees walking around, some of them corralled at the table we were waiting at. While we waited, there was a young lady that never offered to help for an entire 15 minutes. She made an effort not to look at us or talk to us. Fortunately we were saved by another young man who apparently was coming to relieve said young lady that never bothered to ask us if she could help. He asked us if we needed anything and I said yes. "All I need is to buy an iPad, I didn't think it was such a big deal" he asked if I put my name on the list, I said yes and he found me on his phone. Fortunately he took care of us. If it wasn't for him we would still be stuck in that God forsaken store. Apparently only certain people can make sales BUT because this man was able to go ahead and tell the people in the back what size Gigabyte and color iPad we wanted and we were able to miraculously walk out with an iPad on this day... honestly if I can find this Man's name I will post it for his employer because he deserves a raise!!! There was a line by the time we were getting checked out with him because APPARENTLY people knew where to send their Apple patrons when they didn't want to do work... some lady abruptly walked up in the middle of our our checkout saying they sent me over to buy these Apple EarPods...Legitimately why are there SO many people on the floor if 75% aren't able to do anything? Anyways we thank this wonderful man from the bottom of our heart for rescuing us from the Apple store when we were seconds away from walking out.. but from now on will be making our purchases online if at all. I went to the Apple store today to buy a desktop and a laptop while my wife and girls are shoppin NO SUCCESS I was asked if I had an appointment, what in the world I am here to drop 4-5000 in about 10 minutes. Two Apple employees never even blink to make a sale, they stated a appointment is efficient way if doing business. I'm old school, but sales $$$ seems like an efficient way to help a customer. To top it off I tested the great sales tactic feeling discriminated as an old dude so I had my daughter's young buff boyfriend try to buy something and he was told the same thing. Being a real estate commission guy, he asked when next appt was with no help or suggestions from the employees....it was in 5 minutes!!!!!!!! thanks for going extra effort Apple employees!! My recent visit to the Apple Store at the Gardens Mall left me thoroughly disappointed. The service was subpar, and the overall experience was very far from what one would expect from an Apple Store, especially considering that customers spend a lot of money there. Let's start with the phones; Before my visit to the Apple Store, I had called the store seven times in an attempt to reach a human representative, but each time, attempting to contact the store proved to be a frustrating experience. There were no live representatives available, and instead, I had to navigate through a robotic automated system. This lack of direct communication with a real person made it difficult to address my concerns properly. To start I had an unsettling experience with one of his employees. Instead of guiding me to speak with the manager, the employee simply told me to go call the manager by his name. It felt unprofessional and off-putting. That set the tone for the rest of my visit. Effective communication and customer service should be a priority for any store, especially one with a reputation of an Apple Store. I encountered the Manager: Jose, who appeared to be entirely unhelpful and lacking in understanding of basic customer inquiries. His lack of knowledge was baffling, especially given his position as a manager within an Apple store. This raised serious doubts about the store's staff training and management practices. I guess there's no requirement for managing now. To add to the disappointment, the staff members were consistently rude throughout my visit. Their dismissive attitudes and lack of empathy only exacerbated the frustration I felt regarding the already poor service. I had one mission. My purpose for visiting the Apple Store was to get my phone replaced, as instructed by Apple customer support. However, to my surprise, the store was unable to fulfill this request, which makes very little sense since Apple customer support set up an appointment to REPLACE my phone. This discrepancy between Apple's instructions and the store's capabilities further highlights the lack of coordination and professionalism at this particular location. To make matters worse, I had to drive 60 miles to this store, totaling 120 miles there and back. It was quite an inconvenience, and my disappointment with the store's service only added to the frustration of the long journey. And if that wasnt enough for my frustrating experience, I had already told Jose, the manager, that if he couldn't help me with my phone replacement, I would be leaving. Despite my clear statement, it seemed like he wanted to have the last word in the interaction, and that's when he had his imbecilic security try to escort me out of the store. It was an unnecessary power move that only served to make the situation even more unpleasant. As the frustration grew, I did raise my voice a little bit (not enough to grab people's attention) in response to Jose's continued lack of understanding and inability to address my concern properly. It was very clear that he was more concerned with appearances/saving face and looked around to see if people were looking, probably feeling embarrassed by the conversation we had. Instead of focusing on resolving the issue and providing satisfactory customer service, he was more concerned with his ego and not appearing incompetent. This only further highlighted the lack of professionalism and customer-oriented approach at this particular Apple Store. In conclusion, my experience at the Gardens Mall Apple Store was nothing short of disheartening. The absence of live phone support, combined with the unhelpful manager, rude staff, and the unnecessary ordeal with security, created an unpleasant atmosphere.
