TERRIBLE!! Came here on a Thursday with a terrible sore throat, was told it was just allergies (I've never had allergies in my life) after seeing the doctor for 3 minutes, by Sunday I was in the hospital with almost no airway with abscess in my throat. Hospital said it was very dangerous and was shocked the urgent care did not treat me. They do not care about your well being or any of the symptoms you describe to them. Waited for two hours just to be told they didn't do what I went in there for despite saying it to waiting staff/writing it on form the minute I arrived. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I came here to get my son checked out because he has the flu. The doctor declined to do a check up on my child stating "I don't want to expose myself or other people". Which I understand to an extent, but YOU WORK AT AN URGENT CARE??? I wasted an hour of my time here just for the dr to not want to check my child. He said he would prescribe antibiotics since I said I suspected an ear infection but declined to check his ears or lungs for his cough. Who ethically prescribes antibiotics to a toddler without checking to make sure if they actually have an infection or not?? 10/10 do NOT recommend this urgent care. Waste of time taking my sick child here and having to wait an hour. Ridiculous!! read more

Horrible urgent care. We have went for convenience because it's close to home and BOTH TIMES we've went in the morning. At the end the secretary's tell you it will be an hour till they send out prescriptions which is a lie each time apparently the provider, (this time Zekhariah Idro) waits until the end of the day to send out prescriptions when the pharmacies are closed!!! No matter how much you call and beg to sign them (because our baby is sick) they just give you the run around, now the pharmacies have closed we are left without medicine for our baby this is the second time this happens with this place. I understand being busy but if you're too busy to sign off on the prescriptions for your already seen patients it seems they're more out of sight out of mind to the provider. If you need any real help (like we do) I suggest finding a provider and place who genuinely cares because it won't be found here. read more

My original review was deleted when this urgent care changed it's new name but I haven't forgotten about the care we received here. In 2020 CPS was called on my mother from a doctor at this center, they accused her of burning my 2 year old nephew on his arm without investigating and treating him for a skin infection caused by the lake water where we went on vacation to in Lake Havasu. My mother left this urgent care to get my nephew real treatment at the hospital ER across the street where they confirmed skin infection caused by the bacteria in the water. No CPS report was made by the hospital only this urgent care. CPS arrived at our home within 3 days of leaving this urgent care and they confirmed that this care center was the reporter. We will never forget this urgent care and we will not be back ever. We tried to get the doctor's # license to report but they refused to give us any further info. Save yourself the trouble as I can see the reviews haven't gotten better. My review was deleted before but I will keep updating and reviewing no matter how many times they change name/company. read more

The urgent care is very close to my house, the staff was nice enough, BUT there seems to be some (maybe not intentional) racism. I was the first and only person in the waiting room for a good 15 minutes waiting my turn after filling out the paperwork and paying my co-pay. There after several Spanish speaking patients (3) came in after me and were all seen first. The girls that work there converse with themselves in Spanish (they all spoke English with me) so I leads one to believe there is some preferences going in. This is actually fairly common in Indio and CV as a whole. It's never overt but it's noticeable mainly in service related industries. I've noticed that if the conversation started with the creating in Spanish or the customer converts the conversation to Spanish (like a test of the employee or worker) then it garners a "friendlier" hook-up. I've noticed this with food in particular but also anywhere you have to wait for service, like here in the waiting room. I also noted that ALL the patients before me and the 3 after me on the sign in log listed IEHP as their insurance provider. So if you're in the "I get hand outs" boat, this is your go to. The White doctor was nice enough, but super quick, didn't even other to check my Jaw or throat (my chief complaint) until I said something. He prescribed antibiotics and said I was good to go. I gave them an opportunity based on the prior reviews I read, the reviews are pretty accurate. Sucks because they're super close and the other one near the house (across the street from this one) only takes my insurance for the kids (BlueShield w/ Desert Oasis where I'm on BlueShield w/ Optum), figures. Anyways, maybe you'll have better luck than me but do some homework and find a better location. read more

If I could give this place negative stars I would. Charged me $85 for the visit and did absolutely nothing. When I described my symptoms to the Dr. she looked totally baffled had no idea what to say. Only suggestion was an EKG that would cost more money but wasn't even sure if I needed it. She didn't even offer to check lungs and breathing with stethoscope after I told her it was painful to breathe. She seemed like she knew nothing about medicine and horrible bed side manner. $85 down the drain. read more

I went to get check for my throat cause I have a throat infection and if I'm being honest I basically was my own doctor and diagnosed myself. The wait time wasn't a bother it was quicker then any other place I've went too. The nurses are kind and they actually ask more questions than the doctor. I waited 30 minutes in the back just to be hearing the doctor taking his time talking about things that have nothing to do with the patients while having patients in the room waiting. He finally came to see me he didn't even check me. He didn't bother trying to feel my neck for any bumps or swolleness he was more focus on correcting me on what medication I took. He wasn't even in the room with me more the 10 minutes. I used to go to this urgent care as a child and always liked the way they were but these new doctors really need to learn how to be a doctor and check your patients right ! read more

I have been to this establishment multiple times for my children and have always been treated pleasantly. The front desk is always very nice and service is pretty fast. Today, I came in for myself and had a very unprofessional and rude experience with Linden Batiste PA. She belittled me and my symptoms. When I gave her my symptoms, she responded in a rude derogatory manner and was more focused on correcting me what symptoms belonged to which illness instead of properly providing medical care. I came in for a wheezing cough, congestion, shortness of breath, etc. and she didn't run any tests on me (covid, rsv, strep). She gave me no information on what my illness was or what were the next steps I should take. That in itself is malpractice because she did not run the appropriate tests in order to diagnose me correctly. It does not seem like she wants to help and instead thinks she is better than anyone else because of her profession. I would not recommend her AT ALL. Apple urgent care should really reconsider her employment here as I'm sure I'm not the first customer who has experienced her unpleasant, unfriendly approach. She should not be in the medical industry if this is how she treats patients. read more
