I liked that a lot of the produce was local, but it did seem to be on the expensive side. Nonetheless, I did get several kinds of beans, some beautiful Swiss chard (well, it was beautiful before it sat in my car trunk for a day), pickles (which I will use as cucumbers), zucchini, and apple salsa. The staff seemed very friendly, and from what I overheard, they were apparently starting a new program for seniors and they were patiently explaining to people how it worked.

But better than that...they back up who they are-ethical folks. There was not to be found on the magazine racks one tabloid or gossipy magazine. Not one. I looked at the checkout counter and looked around at the other one and not a one to be found. As you know, gossip does more harm than good and most of the time it is not factual only sensational, grabbing the attention of those that fall for that sort of baloney. I complimented the cashier on this and she grinned and knew exactly what I was talking about. I expressed my thanks and said that I would let others know what a great grocery store this was. Street to place would be better paved but for such the short time that the business is opened I understand why it's still unpaved.
