Applebee's has very good food and the staff is friendly. They have a lot of good offers and deals. The atmosphere is nice too.

i was there Feb. 15th. It was around 4:30pm. The service and good was great. The problem with this location, it's not consistently good service. However, lately is been very good. My Fiesta Line Chicken was very good.Also important was the food temp was also perfect. Our server was excellent. I did notice the managers were running the food. Great job! read more

We like the 2 for $20 menu choices and always substitute 2 Caesar salads for our appetizer choice. Always good service in the bar area and we always seem to get better service in the bar ! read more

Server was good. Food was terrible. Potato soup had a funny taste and was terribly salty. Had to wait for it to be thawed according to server. We returned soup and they did take it off bill. read more

Let me preface this review with this. I used to serve at 2 different Applebees locations for 10 years. I know what is expected and I almost always give the benefit of the doubt.. we almost always tip 25-30%... with that said, this time it didn't. Server (Carlie) was extremely rude. The minute we didn't order soft drinks, the attitude came on. The wait for our food was okay, but once our wings came- they were cold. We don't complain, like I said - we give the benefit of the doubt. Dinners came. Kids meal was cold, and old. Steak was way over cooked. Missing sides. Again, no complaining was done. The missing sides were brought when the meal was over. Then came time to get our check. "Here." No thank you; no I'll grab that whenever you're ready... just. "Here." Then when she dropped off, no "thanks for stopping in" or "how was everything"... absolutely nothing. I actually said thank you to her with her reply of "yep". We will avoid this location our next trip. read more

Food is always good. My main complaint is the volume of the music. It's always turned up too high. Each time we visit we ask for the volume to be turned. Applebee's is usually one of my favorite places to eat, after watching fireworks we thought we would go sit down for a nice dinner. Starting off we were told they were completely out of chips (which the spinach & artichoke is my all time favorite) so I settled for just getting a to go order if it. Mind you the restaurant was very slow & had maybe 2-3 tables max. Our dine in lasted an hour an half due to slow service, our steaks were over cooked and didn't have sauce topping, told our waiter twice that our food wasn't cooked properly he basically ignored us and didn't say anything and disappeared for about 15 more minutes. We asked to speak to the manager & he came right out we expressed our experience and he apologized and took the meals off & since the waiter forgot our spinach's dip the manager gave us some to go, the manager was friendly and respectful. But the waiter wasn't and was terrible service, the bar also took 30 min on 2 drinks!!!!! read more

Applebee's over is a good restaurant overall but they need to work on there service.The waiter my party had was awful we had to keep reminding him to bring out our food or to bring out our boxes for our leftovers.We also had to wait so long for our boxes after waiting an hour one member of my party had to go in the kitchen and go get a box.The food was great but the service was bad.In conclusion it was a fair stay compared to former stays. read more

Manager Craig from 820 N Bridge St, Chillicothe, OH 45601 (location) went above and beyond. His name is Craig. THANK YOU, Craig!!! You made up for our 2 for $20 to perfection! We love dining at Applebee's. We usually dine in, but this time, we were put up in a hotel from our job, and just so happen to be adjacent from our usual preference. The restaurant's chef over cooked the noodles from what we initially ordered. But then Craig went above and beyond to make sure we were met with the same expectations. He was awesome. :) And when we walked over to pick it up, we were greeted with staff that clearly knew that it was a "complaint", yet still stayed polite and even comfortable enough to sit at the bar for drinks. We ordered typical drinks, which we thought would be polite on our behalf, as well. Leaving this review was our decision, not for Craig. But just to prove that this establishment is indefinitely deserving of food/drinks and of 4 stars. #WeLoveApplebees read more

I met 2 friends for lunch at Applebees today. The restaurant is always so cold! My food was good. I had tomato basil soup and a thai shrimp salad with the dressing on the side. Our server brought me tea whenever my glass was empty. I paid cash and needed $9.00 and some coins for change for my twenty. He brought me all $9.00 in one dollar bills! We sat and talked for about a half hour after the meal. No one seemed to care, as the restaurant was nearly empty. However, no additional refills were offered after the bill was paid. read more

Went to this Applebee's during our long trip to Indiana. The server sat us right away, but wasn't the most pleasant individual. Of course, he was then also our server. I am very familiar with the Applebee's menu, as I worked there 2 years ago. I ordered the Chicken Fajita Rollup and my husband got the Oriental Chicken Rollup. The wait for our food was long, considering that the restaurant was not full at 1:15 pm on a Friday. My husband said that his was ok, it didn't have very much taste. This may just be the actual menu item and not the restaurant. His french fries were hot and looked great. My lunch was a different story: the rollup was HOT. Like, can't touch it hot. Upon further inspection, you could tell that the Mexi-Ranch dressing was melted. My french fries were cold, brown, and dried out. Basically, it sat on the line way too long. When I asked the server for new fries, he questioned that they were cold. In my opinion, he shouldn't have even brought the food to the table - it looked terrible. That said, I still ate the rollup because we were in a hurry. The entire ordeal took an hour, which surprised me. In other news, the restroom was filthy. read more
